1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2435].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions. These are rather of the nature such that attentions are necessary to prevent the effects becoming constitutional, that are gradually being produced by disturbing factors - or the system allowed to grow INTO those inclinations as we find indicated.

4. In the present they become disturbing conditions, but not the unbalance that they may grow into.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2435]:

6. The blood supply indicates an unbalanced condition in the metabolism of the system; and an involvement of the specific glands, as well as those of a more subtle nature in the glandular forces.

7. Thus there are the effects not only in the pancrean reaction and the activities to the lower hepatic circulation, but as to cause in the assimilated forces the tendencies - in the superficial circulation - for the muscular forces and tendons to become involved in the disturbance.

8. Unless measures are taken to prevent it, we find that these will gradually bring about greater disorders to the body than indicated as being involved in the present - more of the superficial activity in the upsetting of the nerve forces - as to the sensory system, the digestive and the nerve reflexes - or the insomnia that is a part of the experience at times.

9. While the nerve forces are involved, we find this is not

2435-1 Page 2

the SOURCE but rather the result of an unbalanced condition in the assimilating forces - as in the glands OF functioning organs, as well as of the body-forces themselves.

10. As to the functioning of organs - we find, as indicated, that the thyroid, the glands in the liver, pancreas, and naturally the reflexes to the lower hepatics, are the sources or the basis.

11. Thus at various periods many of the organs appear involved in the disturbance.

12. As we find, THESE would be the manners to eliminate these disturbances from the system:

13. First, we would begin with the precautions as to diet.

14. Refrain from ever taking quantities of starchy foods or sweets, or fried foods, or meats; though fish, fowl and lamb may be taken as a part of the diet - though not fried.

15. Have plenty of vegetables - especially all that carry Vitamins B-1; as all of those that are yellow in color; squash (the yellow kind), carrots cooked and raw, yellow peaches - those that are canned in their own syrup and not with benzoate of soda used in the preserving; yams - the yellow character; the tubers of every nature that carry silicon AND iron in same.

16. Once or twice a week, especially, have the Jerusalem artichoke, one about the size of a hen egg; cooked in its own juices (as in Patapar Paper), and the juice mixed and eaten with the meat of the artichoke itself, you see.

17. Also begin taking one drop of Atomidine in half a glass of water each morning before any meal is taken. Take it in this manner for fifteen days. Then leave off.

18. When the Atomidine has been taken for the fifteen days as indicated, THEN begin with the mechanical adjustments, osteopathically administered; with special reference to the 1st and 2nd cervical, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal, 9th dorsal, and the lumbar axis. HERE, these had best be corrected in the ORDER named; stimulating the activity of the organs FROM the centers that these influence; RELAXING the body at least every other treatment without a stimulating treatment.

19. These should be taken at least twice each week, until some six or eight such adjustments have been made - and then these may gradually be made a little farther apart.

20. After taking some six to eight osteopathic treatments, then begin (not before) with the use of the Low Wet Cell Appliance carrying the vibration of Gold into the body. The copper plate would be attached one time to the 9th dorsal, the next time to the lumbar axis; while the larger nickel

plate, passing through the Gold Solution (in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of Distilled Water), would each time be attached at the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus - which for this body would be three fingers from the navel center directly toward the right side, see? Attach this for thirty minutes each day, when it is begun; and keep it up for at least twenty-eight days - or the full period of the charge of the Appliance, but changing the Gold Solution at the end of fifteen days. Keep the plates clean or polished each time before attaching to the body.

21. Keep up the osteopathic adjustments and the diet throughout the period of taking the Appliance.

22. After the attachments have been made each day for twenty-eight days, then we would give further instructions.

23. Here, we find, would be the beginning of that as would stimulate, or assist the system in dissolving salts accumulations that are beginning in the present. But at the end of this period it may be given as to the character and nature of that yet to be eliminated, as to the sources of the trouble or disturbances.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) What was the original cause of the condition? (A) Read what has just been given! The unbalancing of the chemical forces in the system itself. Glandular disturbance.

26. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file n file
