1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '28 - what a change! - '24 - yes - what a turmoil - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes.

4. The records here indicate a very unusual personality. To many we find that the ends [ins?] and outs of the material appearances would be interesting - they will be to this entity, from the very characteristics as indicated in the present personality.

5. These interpretations, then, are chosen with the desire that this be a helpful experience for this entity, enabling it to realize the necessity of spiritual as well as mental and material advancements.

6. In interpreting the urges, when the astrological AND the material sojourns are considered - these characteristics, latent and manifested, appear as a composite of urges manifested in the present experience:

7. One very entertaining in its very nature.

8. The entity is a wonderful conversationalist, and tells a good or bad story well.

9. We find that the entity is inclined to interest self in the affairs all about the entity; thus being an excellent one to spread gossip - OR that as would be of a helpful influence in the experience of others.

2438-1 Page 2

10. One inclined to be attracted to, and to attract, the opposite sex. Thus it may be said that the entity materially LOVES too well, and VERY unwisely.

11. It is indicated that the entity is a natural mimic. Thus we find those conditions that might be stressed in ANY form of activity in which entertainment is indicated. These would be well in the entity's relationships to others.

12. From the astrological aspects we may find much indicated of that which has been hinted at concerning the composite urges.

13. For instance - the entity has been in Venus oft. Thus the entity is oft lonely, seeking companionship that oft becomes rather disturbing than satisfying the longings within for companionship - that are innate.

14. From Venus AND Uranus, we find that the entity becomes an extremist. So, it may be violently in love - materially - one day, and just the opposite the next.

15. We find the entity interested especially in things that are of a mysterious or of an occult nature. Yet in the study or the analysis of such experience, if the entity were to interest self in same to a great extent, it would necessitate a great deal of study and understanding before attempting any of those activities in which the entity would open self for expressions from the unseen influences. For, otherwise, the entity might easily become entangled in those forces that would eventually work for hardships - or entanglements rather than beneficial experiences.

16. Yet these are very real. And with the tempering of self and the setting of determinations, these may be used or applied in the experience for helpful influences.

17. Jupiter, to be sure, is a portion of the entity's experience, but becomes both a beneficient and a disturbing force. For, with the associations with others, and with those tendencies for the inquisitiveness into that which has caused this or that urge or experience in the lives of others, the entity is not a very good confidant at times.

18. Study to analyze self in these directions, and remember the law - speak not unless it can be for a helpful experience to others.

19. As to the material or earthly sojourns, we find that here, too, there are the great number of sojourns influencing the entity in the present - which is indicated by the very high emotional nature, and those extremes that arise in the entity's experience.

20. If there had been the opportunities and choice as a very young individual, for the entity to have studied or to have practised in its experience the developing of the emotions

2438-1 Page 3

through a system called Yogi, it would have been well.

21. But in the present, DO NOT attempt to do such breathing exercises to open the EMOTIONAL centers as related to the physical and the spiritual bodies. To do so would be harmful in the present stage of activity.

22. From the former appearances we may find much as indicted in the composite expression of character and of personality in the present. Thus the necessity for the entity, as we find, if it would gain the more, to turn to the spiritual side of its nature.

23. Learn much of self, rather than the manners in which the emotions or experiences may be brought about in the activity or associations of the mental, the spiritual and the physical forces of the body-entity.

24. For, it is these basic principles that are needed here for the awakening to an unfoldment that may bring real harmony, real peace in the experiences of the entity in this particular sojourn.

25. Thus the entity may attract, and be attracted to, that influence in the earthly or material sojourn in which real harmony may be had in the relationships with the opposite sex.

26. Before this we find that the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, during the early settlings of the land, but after there had been changes in the connections or associations of the land.

27. For, the entity then was among the offspring of the natives and the settlers in the land. Hence there arose questions as to companionships, as the entity grew into activity in that particular sojourn. This brought a mental and a material attitude such that the entity felt partially as an outcast, never being fully appreciated for its abilities. And its activity in attempting to make itself as a body desirable for others brought both good and bad, and those influences in the present that are at times stumblingstones rather than steppingstones to the spiritual and mental unfoldment.

28. In analyzing self, learn that it is not all of life to merely live, or to supply the needs of the body in materiality. For, life is a continuous thing, an expression of Divine; and the stamp of mind upon the self is the expression of love of that Divine for the companionship of the soul as an individual, as an entity.

29. Thus the body-physical is indeed a temple of the divine, of God; and there He will meet thee, if ye seek to know HIS way with thee! and as to how ye may be as an expression of

2438-1 Page 4

HIS glory, His love, His presence in the earth - rather than the body being a channel for material emotions that fade, turn sour, become obnoxious at times in the experience of the entity.

30. The name then was Mary Grimes.

31. Before that the entity was in the Roman AND the Grecian land. The entity was among the Grecian maidens, fair of body; an entertainer in its abilities; educated as one adapted to, and being an adept in, the dance, as well as being the conversationalist to those who were in authority.

32. Thus the entity became first as one to be an entertainer for those in power and position. The entity lost in attempting to use self and to ensnare others in such a way that there might be the indulging of the appetites of the body for position, place, power. The entity gained when there was the understanding that it was not for self but for those who would come after - or that each soul shall take into consideration that others with whom the soul has come in contact are better for that soul having been there.

33. Would that each soul would make that as a rule, a determining factor - "In each contact, each conversation with another, I will leave a thought, an idea, that will better that individual."

34. Then these are necessarily of the spiritual nature. For, only the spiritual are eternal. For all things material pass away. And these experiences, too, pass; but that which is good or holy lives on. For He has not promised or reckoned in vain when He has given, "My word and the seed of the spirit sown shall NOT return emptyhanded."

35. In that experience the entity was known as Althea. there may still be seen in Athens, Greece, the statues of the entity in that earthly experience - and under that name.

36. Before that the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were the settlings first in the land to the south, by the peoples from across the seas, and the conjunctions with those who had been as the remnant from the Atlantean disturbance.

37. The entity was among those first born from the combination of those activities. For, most of those who found their way were of the males, while those who came from the Yucatan land were of the opposite sex.

38. We find that the entity was one of the first of the many offspring from that union; thus being one set in authority as a priestess, making for the use of symbols, signs, for the determining factors as to the ruling influences in the experiences of individuals; drawing upon the activities in the heavens as well as the growth of vegetation.

2438-1 Page 5

39. For, the peoples then understood - even better than they do today - how that the heavens declare the glory of God, and as to how nature SINGS His praises in the rebirth at each period, each cycle, for its unfoldment and growth; as manifested in entities that are - as man - a manifestation of HIS love in the earth.

40. Hence the interest in the mysterious - the abilities and the activities as an athlete; as one that plays a good game of ANY sport; a BEAUTIFUL dancer, and in the expression of those things; oft loving to turn to the muses of the night, as well as of places and seasons, with the companions.

41. These are well, if they are tempered in the spiritual things and their import in the activities of a daily life.

42. For, know that thy spirituality - as well as thy mental concept - must be interpreted in the PRACTICAL life and associations of the day.

43. The name then - if it were put into words or letters of today - was Ajuado.

44. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there had been the choosing of those who were to be the channels for the expressions of a new race, - as was being thought or determined in the period when the Priest, in his regeneration, had set about the preparing of the peoples.

45. This entity then was among those who were of that change of thought, of body and stature. For, with the purifying of its parents, the entity with its associates brought a new way of expression in the material world.

46. Thus the entity became as one sought as a channel for expression. Thus the entity became the mother of a great peoples. For, in that experience the entity bore thirty-seven children!

47. Hardships grew into the life; yet that longing, that desire which arose from the material hardships, for the mental and spiritual expressions of others, brings abhorrence to the entity for the associations that the entity is attracted to in other directions.

48. Let thy activity in the present, then, be such that the abilities as manifested even there - as She-pon-tut - may be expressed.

49. In the activities - first study self. Write down, make a list of what ye desire most. And as ye find each thing on thy list pertains to that as would gratify or satisfy personal self, replace same continuously with that wish expressed in these words - "Lord, use me in thine OWN way!" Thus we will find these of self will be gradually

2438-1 Page 6

eliminated, and the awakening that comes from within taking its place.

50. For, know that the answer to every problem, to every question, is within self. For there, as given, He has promised to meet with thee.

51. As to the field of activity - that of entertainment to the young, or as a reader, or as a radio assistant or helper. In these fields may the material things come. And in these ways may the entity in the next two to three years find that companion with whom the entity FOUND such activity in the experiences through those activities in the land of the present nativity, that brought harmony, peace - that all souls seek - harmony with the best within self, peace with thy conscience and thy God.

52. Ready for questions.

53. (Q) Should I do any work or study of a psychic research nature; if so, what? (A) As indicated - until self is well balanced, do not attempt psychic study. Rather study psychology of childhood, or of the teen age; that self may read, tell stories, or lecture to such. These will lead to channels through which that greater understanding may come of the psychic forces and influences. If there is to be a beginning of study, let it be from the thirtieth and thirty-first chapters of Deuteronomy.

54. (Q) Please advise me as to my business. (A) Keep in the same line as in the present. Keep thy own counsel. And in thy conversation, remember - let each customer, not only in the material way but in the mental, feel refreshed from being in thy presence; for thy conversation is to be helpful - not merely "small talk."

55. (Q) What advice would you give me as to my social life? (A) As indicated, if there is the study and the analysis, and the attempt to become as the companion or the instructor or the teacher to the young, this will bring the greatest harmonies into thy life.

56. (Q) How should I go about this new work? (A) Just as indicted - study psychology of childhood first!

57. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for Mrs. [903] in case you wish her to go over it and discuss it with you) Copy to Ass'n file o Ass'n file
