1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '39 - changes coming about - '35 - very good, but disturbing - '30 - '25 - very good - '04 - a great change - " etc., on back to birth date. Then: "[2440] - now called.")
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2440].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen from same with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity, enabling it to so analyze self and self's activity at this time as to embrace the opportunities now presented. Thus the entity may so live that not only those dependent upon the entity, and whom duty calls the entity to aid, but others - too - may be better because of the activities of the entity through this experience.
5. For, it is not by chance that the entity has come into this material sojourn, or into the present associations, but that greater opportunities may be accorded. For there are those things that bespeak a watchfulness of the Divine in this entity's activities.
6. Hence, while there are those conditions in the material that bespeak of turmoil, disturbances that make for anxieties, know that there is within self that ability, that DIVINITY, that way shape the ways, the manners through which
2440-1 Page 2
good, and peace, and harmony, may come to all.
7. As to urges latent and manifested from the astrological aspects - we find that these here would mean very little.
8. Hence we find that the relationships to the material world, or from the earthly sojourns, bring the greater urges - in the high emotional natures that are latent and manifested. Yet there is that which bespeaks of the latent spiritual forces which must not be neglected, if there would be again harmony and peace in the full consciousness of this entity.
9. There are adverse relationships in some astrological aspects. Thus we find those conditions in regard to the activities in the home will and do bring strained relationships; yet these, too, as ALL that is of a material nature, may pass away; IF there is the foundation of the material efforts more from the promptings of spirituality, rather than from PURELY the material gains.
10. In this respect, it is not indicated that there are to be only sanctimonious activities that bespeak only of a promise or an exchange of good in order that self may be exalted in a material manner; but that the hopes, the purposes, the desires are all to be prompted by right because RIGHT BRINGS peace, and harmony, in body and in mind.
11. For, as is experienced in the very physical forces of the body, when turmoils and distresses arise, even of a material nature, physical conditions become awry. But as the man thinketh in his heart, so is he - if he will realize that he is not to attempt to have the Divine or God on his side, but rather to be latently, manifestedly, purposefully, on God's side! There's a vast difference, if it will be analyzed in things pertaining to the material choices made.
12. In giving the interpretation then of the appearances in the earth - these as to their purpose, as to their natures, must be analyzed to a conclusion; that there may be in the present more of a magnifying of the virtues and a minimizing of the faults which have created or do bring about the opportunities for good or for those things which bespeak of turmoils and disturbances in the entity's experience.
13. Before that the entity was in the land of the present sojourn, yet - as in the present - was not a native of the land in the beginning, but among those who were seeking for an opportunity to express the purposes innate and manifested in the experience.
14. Hence the entity came into the land during the period when those were being sought to act in the capacity as
2440-1 Page 3
soldiers - during that called the Civil War. In the early portion of that period, as one then past thirty years of age, the entity was induced to join in a struggle that was not of his making, nor understood, but one in which the entity saw much of activities in the campaigns TOWARDS those portions of the land of the present sojourn.
15. Much association there brought the abilities in the present for the entity to meet many characters of situations. As an individual, a good conversationalist, a good mixer, a good salesman; and active in those things that were a portion of the entity's experience before entering the land - those things dealing with conveniences in the household.
16. The name then was Marka Moskovitch. In the experience the entity gained.
17. From that sojourn we find in the present that the entity may make application in such a way as to never impose upon another an obligation that he himself would not like to have imposed upon himself. It is this experience that has at times brought about many of the disturbing influences, yet it may be turned into that in which much good may come to self in peace and harmonies within, in associations with others, in dealings with things having to do with home, office, schools and the like.
18. Before that the entity was in the land of the present nativity, but in that portion closer to the southernmost lands in same; and the entity journeyed into Macedonia, as one that was a dealer in draperies, spices, hangings, and things of that nature pertaining to the luxuries for those in high estate, or high positions.
19. Coming in contact with those in Egypt and Persia, the entity came to know much of those things pertaining to the mysteries in man's undertakings with the unseen forces. And the entity became as one imbued with that of worldly wisdom, - which was used to disadvantage by the entity in lording it over others.
20. From that sojourn there will come, there has come in the present, the period from time to time when others, associates and the like, have forced by their position, or imposed propositions - which was a part of the entity's experience then - as Pasha Silapham.
21. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods of turmoil and strife, when there were those activities in which divisions arose. The entity was among those of the Priest's guard, and in the period of banishment the entity was under the direction of that one who was first the king's armorbearer and then chose to become such to the
2440-1 Page 4
Priest. With the return, the entity rose to power as one that brought into the experiences of many the changes wrought in furnishings - not only of the temple but of the dwelling places as well.
22. Hence from that experience the entity is one that may direct the policies of organized endeavors; also the distribution and judgment of those who may be entrusted with such as local distribution of things of such natures.
23. The name then was He-She-Po-Pht.
24. To be sure, these are only a few of the appearances, but indicate tendencies and trends that are the problems of the three fold nature in the present experience.
25. As to the abilities of the entity, then:
26. First, find self; not merely from the material angle, - as to its purposes and aims - but as to its mental and spiritual also.
27. In those fields of endeavor having to do with the supplying of conveniences, combined with beauty and comfort in the home, of EVERY nature, do we find the channels in which the judgments as well as abilities may find an outlet; not only in the analyzing of the policies and business abilities of individuals, but in making such an association worth while to those with whom the entity deals.
28. Let this be a part of the policy, ever - as may be drawn from the experiences in other sojourns - that each contact is an opportunity, not merely for material gain but for the entity itself to make life, to make this experience more worth while BECAUSE of the pleasure, the peace and harmony that may be brought by the endeavors of one working with the other.
29. DO NOT engage in ANY undertaking that to SELF is questionable. For, thy conscience WILL smite thee.
30. Seek not to force any influence upon another that ye would not have enforced on thyself.
31. In this manner may the entity find self, and so use the opportunities as to bring greater harmony in the experience of self.
32. Ready for questions.
33. (Q) Considering the best interests of both, would it be advisable for me to associate myself with [257], or with another furniture connection directly with a factory? (A) As we find, as the associations were once with that entity now called [257], this CAN be made to be a most satisfactory outlet for both. For, as the entity now called [257] once depended upon the entity, and the entity PROVED to be worth depending upon, so may the entity prove now not only dependable but make the association MOST worth while.
2440-1 Page 5
But go the whole way in more than just one line. To be sure, one grouping, one pattern is oft the better. Circumstances in the present will be such that there will need to be more than just one line.
34. (Q) If associated with [257] could we expect full and sympathetic cooperation through the American Furniture Co.? (A) You may expect full and sympathetic cooperation through the American Furniture Company. For, the policies of this organization are BEYOND question.
35. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to go into some entirely different field of endeavor in the New York area? (A) As we find, you have a real opportunity here - because, first, of previous associations; secondly, because of the very nature and type of this endeavor, that would make it much easier and more in keeping with the original purposes, than were there undertakings in other fields. However, to be sure, other fields might offer a workable outlet, but with this association we find a much better premise may be established.
36. (Q) In what section of the country would I be most successful? (A) Within those close to camps in the present - portions of Jersey, portions of New York, portions of Connecticut and Rhode Island.
37. (Q) Would you advise a reconciliation with my wife for mutual happiness or development, or would it be best for us to go separate paths? (A) As was indicated in the beginning, there are obligations which to the entity will never be complete until these AS obligations are in a manner satisfied to the entity's own conscience. For the present, let them remain - but do NOT that in thy activity or associations that would divide or force thee farther apart. Do NOT that ye would not have thine own flesh, thine own body do.
38. (Q) Should contact with my brothers-in-law be established again? (A) If this comes in the natural line of endeavor in the new associations. Let it be a natural consequence, rather than something sought out.
39. (Q) Any other suggestions or counsel at this time? (A) As we find, study this that is given here. Analyze self. Make thy plans, then WORK the plans. Be true to thyself and thy purposes, and ye will not be
2440-1 Page 6
false to thy wife, thy children, nor thy associates.
