1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. Now, as we find, while there are physical conditions as disturb or prevent the better normal physical functioning, much of the disturbance is of a psychological nature.
4. Hence, if there will be those things brought about that will prevent the body from becoming almost wholly paralyzed, there must be the effort and the determination in the MENTAL self to RESIST those conditions, and that effort - mentally as well as physically - to eradicate them.
5. Minimize at all times, within self, the hindrances, and make more effort to exercise the abilities to do for self, as well as to be useful to others rather than dependent upon others.
6. For, in the help that may be given others lies the GREATER ability to do for self, and to have done for self, to eliminate conditions.
7. As we find, there have been external injuries which have caused the slowing of circulation through the body. And, without particular attention or attempt to supply normal functionings for the system, allowing the accumulations through poor eliminations, with the inability to keep the coordinations between the various eliminating systems, we find that static conditions now begin to form in muscles and tendons - at times causing excruciating pains.
8. To make better conditions - besides the mental attitudes AND the DETERMINATIONS in self that it will NOT be overcome by those disturbances as hinder -
9. PHYSICALLY we would apply - about once each week - the Epsom Salts Bath; AFTER there has been the taking of Atomidine each morning for five days, three drops in half a

glass of water, taken before the morning meal.
10. In preparing the Epsom Salts Bath, put about ten pounds of Epsom Salts into about forty gallons of water (in the bath tub, just as warm as the body can stand same; keeping this at a high temperature by the addition of more hot water.) Throughout the period the body is in the Bath - which should be about twenty minutes - massage the limbs, especially the hip, and the back.
11. Afterwards, have a thorough rubdown. Then massage the back, the limbs, the joints, with an equal combination of Peanut Oil and Olive Oil.
12. Do this; and as to diet and exercise:
13. Have a little more effort each day for activities - in walking, in the general house exercise; though not a great amount of heavy lifting, to be sure, or anything of that nature, but more exercise.
14. Then the diet: Keep away from any fried foods. Have MORE of vegetables and fruits. Each meal take SOME form of fruit. Whether these are cooked or raw, take some form - whether peaches, pears, apples, plums, grapes or what - some form each meal.
15. Have more of vegetables as the regular meals.
16. These as we find will bring the bettered conditions for this body.
17. Read - not merely to know - but MAKING it a part of self - the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of St. John. Make them - the promises there - thine own; not as to a selfish thing, but as a motive for thy attempts to bring relief, and to DO for others.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Was the injury referred to the original cause of my trouble? (A) It was the original cause, as indicated; combined with the attitude of feeling sorry for self - and SEEKING sympathy!
