Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you the entity [2448] in her office at ..., Norfolk, Va., who seeks guidance as to the choice to be made; whether she should go to Richmond tomorrow to join the Waves, go to work at the Naval Base, or stay where she is. The entity came seeking thru this channel before she felt a burning urge of ambition to join the Waves, and was directed by the Forces to pursue the urge. But now, as time has elapsed and people have talked, she has become afraid materially, even though the urge still persists within her. She comes again seeking advice, as she is afraid and doesn't know what to do. You will answer questions that may be asked.

2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind of [2448]; this we have done before.

3. As was indicated for the entity - it would be well if the entity would join in a service; provided the joining is done with a desire on the part of the entity to be of a service to the country. It it is done only as an escape, and not a sincere desire to offer self as an active service for an ideal and for a purpose, it would not be well to join.

4. As to whether the entity should remain where it is, or enter a service somewhere else, should be chosen for itself. For, as we have indicated, there must be a purpose. If it is merely for the material gain, or for that to meet the necessary emergencies and contingencies of an experience itself, this in one thing. If it is for the service or to be of a service towards an ideal, being not only good but good FOR something, this is another thing.

5. These should all be considered by the entity. To be sure, there are obligations; yet there must or should be ideals and purposes within self, and these are to be followed - not as an emotion, not as just something to have an experience, but rather as of a service for a cause, for a purpose, for an ideal.

6. Unless these can be taken into consideration for this

entity, and the choice made within self as to the ideal, it is not possible to decide satisfactorily upon the move to be made as to the activity.

7. Remember - God does not MAKE a person do a thing - it must be a choice in self.

8. For, ye would be free. God made you so. To say to do this or that, and not a choice within self, is not being a free choice.

9. Seek if ye would know, and ye will find.
