1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now, we find there are many abnormal conditions with this body. They have to do with specific conditions that have been brought about by other conditions, until we have two; yea three, distinct conditions that should be reckoned with in bringing the permanent or normal conditions or relief for this body. These have to do with conditions existent in the circulation, conditions existent in the nerve system, conditions existent in the functioning of portions in the system and their position, relation, with the other portions of the functioning organism.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [2457], we are speaking of. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find in an anemitized condition, yet not wholly anemia from the sense that the body suffers from anemia as specific, but rather as a result of conditions in the system. The blood, then, we find subnormal in its elements and its rebuilding functioning in the body, produced, as we shall see, by different conditions, at different times, in the cycle of functioning in the system. Hence we have a subnormal blood count in red blood, abnormal in white. Hence conditions of poor coagulation and of a depleted system in many ways.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, we find this has been of the longest standing disorders in the body. Hence much of the system is under the strain of the nervous system. There are conditions in the cerebrospinal centers, especially in the lower lumbar and in the sacral and coccyx, that bring depressions to the whole system, and the cerebrospinal being weighted with that of the sensory system being supersensitive in the functioning of the organs, by depression in the sense of feeling, in repression and as pertaining to the functioning of the organs under

2457-1 Page 2

depression, brings many reflex conditions to the system, and has done so for a long time.

6. In the spinal centers, then, we find this in the last dorsal, in the last three lumbar centers, and in the sacral plexus and sacral coccyx plexus, reflexly. The effect this has produced in system is to produce irritation through their reflexes from these centers. Hence with the present condition we find the walls of the mesenteric system weakened in their nerve energy. Hence depression in their muscular forces and of the torso organs are in abnormal position. Hence, with the breaking down of muscular contraction in abdomen from reflexes in the portion of system through strain being brought on system, often through the nerve reaction the walls of abdomen become weakened. Hence the colon and the genital system itself becomes in abnormal condition, or position, in the body. This weighing then on system brings the reflexes in the nerve system, disturbing the functioning of the organs in the digestive system, producing, especially, poor assimilation, reflexing from same to circulation or blood supply. With the breaking down of these nerve and muscular tensions, the assimilation through the lacteal and lachrymal ducts bring poor stimulus to the recuperative forces in body; yet with the high nerve tension of sympathetic system the body often responds beyond its physical strength to action either in physical or in mental abilities. Hence the constant strain brought on the body by such reactions.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in brain forces very good. One that keeps well balanced under all depressions, for sympathetic and mental forces keep the body in an equilibrium far beyond the forces that might be expected in the physical condition of body. Hence, psychologically, we have a very interesting reaction, and one beyond the normal forces in this body.

8. In throat, lungs, larynx, very good, save when there are reactions in the sympathetics. Then we have a filling of the tissue in throat that often gives distress to the body, for through this channel then much of the drosses in this portion of system are attempted to be eliminated. Hence the reaction of dry conditions, or throat feeling as if it was full of cotton or soft reaction. Tendency to swallow and to expectorate often.

9. In lungs good.

10. Heart's action subnormal and again abnormal, from conditions in circulation.

11. Stomach proper tipped to the right side. Hence the inability of body to take foods at times, or to gain the

2457-1 Page 3

best food values from that taken.

12. Liver very good, when rest of system is considered.

13. In the upper intestinal digestion, in all portions of the trunk portion or torso, we find this constant strain from position of the organs in system from relaxation in the body.

14. Kidneys overtaxed, attempting to eliminate, and the tendency of other organs to sag or swag gives same tendency to these organs themselves, for incasement of these organs receive much irritation at times from this condition.

15. Organs in pelvis show the condition in nerve system and the tendency of the extremes in the functioning of organs in pelvis and through the uterus in discharge or in dryness show the reaction in the system.

16. Then, to bring the better conditions for this body, we will have much to consider as given, and would be necessary that each receive its proper attention in bringing normal conditions to body.

17. First, the body should wear a very tight supporter about the abdomen, reaching from the lower portion of stomach to the hips, or upper portion of hips. Also at times wearing suspensory for the lower organs. This, as we see, should be fastened in place with lower portion of body elevated, that organs may tip naturally to their correct position. This first, and worn as much as possible to keep without irritating the body too much.

18. The body should keep off the feet as much as possible, especially before and after the periods when there is the depression in the functioning of the pelvic organs and discharge from same.

19. For the condition in the pelvic organs, we would use every week two different kinds of douches in vagina. Those first of the small quantity, two drops, Tincture of Myrrh, two drops of Balsam of Tolu. Then in the next douche we would use small quantity Creolin in the warm water used as douche. Use spiral douche for these. These would be taken, then, at least twice each week.

20. Then, the diet should be the principal care and attention of body, for the condition depends upon that food value given the body and that which will be assimilated in the system. Hence giving the greater resistive force. The body should be more regular with the food taken, and taking the green vegetable as much as possible. No great amount of meats. None carrying much fat. Quantities of the juices of beef may be taken, SHOULD be taken, provided small quantities of stimulant in fruit juices are taken with same, such as light wines, grape juice or orange, or citrus fruit

2457-1 Page 4

juices, taken with the meat juice, or beef juice. Well that the Iron, Beef and Wine be taken, too, for this should be small, yet taken consistently and persistently, for these will produce the better assimilation in system. Then taking about ten drops of Wyeth's Iron, Beef and Wine each day until at least two whole quarts are taken. This, as we see, will cover a long period of time, but must be taken in small quantities to bring correct assimilation.

21. The body should rest in the sunshine, or take those rays from an Alpine light, or may take those from the strong electric rays, in these rays' vision, or the body should have these applied near the solar plexus center, next to the body, or in direct rays to the skin.

22. Well, after this has been begun, that in two to five weeks the massage be given to the body to strengthen the walls of the abdomen and the muscles along the lower portion of spine. Necessary, however, that these properties be taken, these supports be applied, that the system may have the correct incentives in the rebuilding when the manipulations are applied to body.

23. Do that, and as conditions progress we will find the changes necessary for body through these forces.

24. Keep from the inclinations for the exciting of pelvic organs through coition as much as possible. Best for system throughout. Best for nervous system.

25. We are through for the present.
