1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane; giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2459].
3. In giving the interpretation of the records as we find them, there are many. Then to choose that as may be the most helpful for this entity, and for those directing the development of this entity, becomes a problem.
4. These, then, are chosen in the present with the desire that they be a helpful influence for the entity. When the entity reaches its twelfth to thirteenth year, others should be indicated.
5. For, we find these as a composite of urges latent and manifested from the material and the astrological aspects in this entity's experience:
6. The entity is one very strong in body, in mind and in purpose. Thus there will be required a positiveness, ever, in the advice and counsel for the developing years of the entity. For, love and patience will bring much to the entity to the front as latent and manifested urges in the experience of the entity through the material sojourns. These - the material sojourns - have been many; as might be indicated from the life seal of the entity:
7. This would be in the form of an open flower, white; with a symbol of gold - or in gold - as of two eights, one crossing the other. These would not be parallel but one from the upper left to the lower right hand, the other from
2459-1 Page 2
the upper right to the lower left, crossing in the center as the center or the stamen of the flower shows its bloom - as of five seed in the center crossed by this figure.
8. These indicate much, as will be seen from the appearances given in this present interpretation of the records as we find them here.
9. The seed should be red - VERY red; the flower white, with the many petals and the green bulb under same, with a stem with three leaves of green upon it. These would be the three varied cycles of the entity's experience in the developing or questioning periods of sojourn.
10. Then, in choosing these interpretations:
11. As indicated, we will find the necessity for the positveness in the direction.
12. The flower indicates the artistic temperament.
13. There is the lack of the consistent activity in the entity for the evaluation of money, yet it is rather consistent with those things ordinarily considered as a judgment with same - as of time or duty.
14. Without this positive direction, the entity will be drawn toward varied groups. For, the entity will be a leader in whatever association it may find itself.
15. In school the entity will be chosen as the best looking one of the class; it will be the historian for more than one class.
16. Hence we will find one inclined towards the club person, or club woman as it might be termed in the present; though at the entity's period of maturity in the present the approaches to such activities will have changed to other more significant names.
17. One that will be inclined to desire its own way, and will wrap most of the opposite sex about its own finger as it likes. Then, directions will be needed that will give the proper evaluation of social as well as the spiritual and mental relationships in the experience of the entity; else there may be periods when such violent disappointments or disagreements may arise as for the entity to choose rashly as to its preferences in relationships with others.
18. Let the home ever be the center for the entity's activities with its associates, throughout its developing periods. Not that there are not to be others, or the going to other homes, but let the entity ever have the judgment of such as that which is conceived and enacted in its own environ.
19. As to urges arising from astrological aspects, or the sojourns and activities when absent from materiality - we find these coming from the Moon, Mercury and Uranus. As may
2459-1 Page 3
be indicated by comparison, these are rather unusual choices of an entity entering the material experience in the present.
20. Hence we will find the artistic temperament that needs stimulation; not so much by insistence or demand but by rather the aid through the complimentary suggestions as to the good work it may do; as to how the entity can through same minister to the pleasure as well as enlightenment for others.
21. For, through that period of the entity's choice as to physical activity, we find that the entity's activity should be as a decorator, or as a designer of walls or frescoing or such.
22. From the Moon we find the tendencies towards the love of the social life, which might easily become a failing - because of its greater abilities as an individual. For, as indicated, the entity's personality will stand out in groups and among its associates in such a manner that all will seek companionship with the entity.
23. Thus, as given, there are the needs for stressing that latent force in the entity's abilities to judge time, duty, obligation, more than the material things or money.
24. Hence it will require thought, patience, persistence in the directing of the entity; especially between the eighth and twelfth year of its experiences in this particular sojourn.
25. We will find from Uranus the desires as toward the mystic, the occult, and those things of unusual nature. Thus, those tendencies towards the club, or the social, or the group activity; and a leader in such, when it is chosen.
26. Hence the needs for the directing that the spiritual life may be tempered with judgment as well as practicality in its daily experience.
27. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities - in all those choices as may be made, save when those extremes arise - as they will through the various developing periods, and the activities of the entity in its body as well as in mental awakening.
28. As to the appearances in the earth - these we find quite varied; and, as indicated, they are rather in cycles, as from the figure or symbol indicated in the seal; yet crossing and recrossing one another, as indicated in the five-point center.
29. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during the developing of the land in and about portions of Virginia - Jamestown, Williamsburg, Richmond, Norfolk and the like. These, of course, were
2459-1 Page 4
under quite a varied or different environ or status from that indicated in the present; but it was at that period when great stress was being laid by the early settlers on great estates and a liking for the creating of the social environs - during that formative period just previous to and in the early portion of the American Revolution.
30. The entity was among those who were closer to those activities than would ordinarily be considered. For, the entity eventually became the wife of him known as the father of his country.
31. In that experience the entity was in that position to know the needs of the many varied kinds, characters, positions and places of activity; yet, as may be gathered much from the life of the entity through that period, ever an example as well as an inspiration for ALL of those peoples of the day. The entity was a leader by NATURAL conditions and by the very activity or choices of the entity in its associations with the varied groups of that period.
32. The entity was among the first to become burdened with financial responsibility, as would be called in the present; yet little or none of its own making, but by choice of association, by choice of companionship and activity.
33. Too little stress has been given as to how this entity, Martha, led in creating that inspiration for not only her companions through that period but with her fortitude and strength brought inspiration to those who were in the position of might and power by their very electorate vote to set the policies of this new land.
34. In the present, then, there will need to be that instruction, that direction, toward the entity's ability to bring the same again to those who will rule the land. For, the entity would - and should - some day be the companion, again, of one in authority in the land.
35. Before that the entity was in the Roman land AND the Palestine land. For, the entity was among the companions of those in authority in the Palestine land when there were the activities, the tenets, the beliefs being presented by the Prince of Peace.
36. The entity then was a companion of one of those in authority in that land; knowing the holy women, knowing the Master Himself. For, the entity was that companion that brought the periods of activity for the great dinner for the Master, His disciples and His followers, during the latter portion of the Berean [Perean?] ministry. This was the greater occasion of an individual dinner given in honor of the Master during His early ministry. While in the record nothing is given as to the entity's part, owing to the
2459-1 Page 5
custom of that period or age, it was from the ENTITY'S choice, the ENTITY'S desire to know firsthand, to see ALL characters, all groups of individuals that were not only the followers but the listeners, as well as the character of the apostles - or disciples as they were called at that particular period.
37. Thus we will find that oft the entity will ask questions, when in the teachings there are the lessons given as He gave to the little ones or in any given direction. The entity will ask, at times, "What did Jesus say?" Never, never refrain from taking advantage of such opportunities to fully explain this to the entity. For, as it did then, the entity will gather much that is missed by many in making practical application of the principles and tenets of His teachings.
38. The name then was Naneoi. The entity gained - and much should be given the entity of that period in its own developing through this particular sojourn and period.
39. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, when there was the choosing of those who were to go into the Arabian land for the activities there - to change the environs for varied groups.
40. The entity was beautiful of body, of purpose, of mind; yet attempting to be used by those who were trying to undermine, or - in common parlance - to propagate propaganda among those in the city in the hills and the plains.
41. In its artistic temperament of the period, the entity - in its activity in the "city in the hills" - brought aid to many of the travellers to and fro, with those varied groups, and a developing of those influences in their varied lands.
42. Hence, as has been indicated, the decorative art - as fresco, or paper, or walls, or the like - is that phase that will appeal to the entity, or find the greater expression through activities of the entity in the present.
43. Through that sojourn there were periods in which many questions arose, and many questionable activities, if judged by parlance of that day as well as of the present. Yet on the whole it may be said that the entity gained through the experience. For, in its service, in its choice of aiding the various groups, the entity naturally set itself as a good mixer; but because of the purposes was questioned by others, though in self it was ever a helpful influence.
44. Hence the great need in the present for the tempering of the entity's purposes for ideals in its dealings and relationships with others.
45. In that experience the entity was known as Phylysta.
46. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during
2459-1 Page 6
those periods of reconstruction there.
47. The entity then was the younger of the daughters of the High Priest, Ra-Ta, as there were those periods when there had been the regeneration and the choices for channels for the new race.
48. To the peoples of that period the entity presented what was called the sine qua non for that development; the highest as attained through that experience.
49. Yet the entity misused portions of that activity in such ways and manners as to cause a falling away from the mindfulness of preparations through the Temple of Sacrifice. For there was the tendency of the entity to overemphasize that activity in the Temple Beautiful, as to make it of little effect in the developing of those in the latter portion of that sojourn. The activities then were as the leader in the various forms of activity.
50. These all become a part of latent urges for the entity.
51. Thus the abilities in many fields will be seen in parts of the entity's experience and development.
52. Hence, as indicated here - apply - now - that which has been indicated; that better interpretation, better understanding may be given through those other VARIED experiences and sojourns that may become a part of the entity's experience through this present activity.
53. And at that age of twelve to thirteen, we will give further instructions.
54. Let there be ever the consideration of that indicated: Keep the body, the mind, ever as an inspiration for those in authority; they will need much counsel, much of spiritual love and truth.
55. Ready for questions.
56. (Q) Is present name best for the entity? (A) VERY, very good.
57. (Q) For what particular purpose did she enter the earth plane at this time? (A) Hasn't it been indicated?
58. (Q) Is there any special purpose for coming to the present mother a second time? [See 1223-4, Par. 54-A re early America, given 10/28/40.] (A) That there may be the more complete fulfilling of its directing influence in the earth.
59. (Q) What is the interpretation of her seal? (A) Study this in the light of that indicated. Draw it first - see what it looks like. You will have a very different concept.
60. We are through for the present.
