Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2470].

3. As we find, there is rather the complication of disturbances. But with the correction of the basic causes of these, we find that gradually all the disturbing factors may be regulated to better conditions.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body:

5. First - the blood supply indicates there is very poor assimilation of foods. Thus those upsettings of the digestive system, and the irritations as produced in the lower hepatic circulation; by the excesses of acids and especially a uremic reaction causing irritation even to bladder at times - and the irritation to the tube or eliminating channel of the urine from the system.

6. Also we find conditions such that, with the superacid forces, there is a prolapsus in portions of the colon; causing lymph formations, and the hemorrhoid activities - though not true hemorrhoids, for the irritation is more from the forming of lymph pockets.

7. These, with the combination of disturbances, cause the unbalanced condition in the blood stream itself, as to the character of its reaction to the organs.

8. Thus there are not organic disturbances in any of these, but rather a combination of sympathetic nerve reactions produced by acid pressures upon the nervous system, - especially in the superficial circulation, or to those centers particularly where the sympathetic and cerebrospinal should coordinate.

9. Hence a nervous headache - as indicated in the present;

2470-1 Page 2

the inability for the body to rest well at times.

10. We find that these combinations arise from the unbalancing in the digestive activity, causing the acids to be increased and at other periods an excess of the lactics; thus an unbalanced condition.

11. Also there are pressures in cerebrospinal system - in lumbar and sacral axis, as well as in the upper dorsal and through the cervical - that become contributing agents to the nerve tensions; the inability of the body to be satisfied or to have the optimistic outlook, because of the repressions that such produce upon the general nervous system and the general physical forces of the body.

12. As we find, to make better conditions - first we would begin and have at least eight to ten thorough osteopathic adjustments; with particular reference to the areas indicated - that is, the upper dorsal and the cervical area, and the lumbar axis and the sacral - especially the ileum plexus.

13. We would begin with taking once each day, with whichever is the heavier meal - whether it be morning, noon or night - half a teaspoonful of ALCAROID, dissolved first in a small quantity of water, then fill the glass, and then drink another glass of water afterwards. Take this after the heavier meal of the day - about ten or fifteen minutes after eating, see?

14. Also AT EACH meal - or immediately after - or while still eating - take three to five drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in a little water.

15. Use TIM as an application for the rectal disturbance. Use this as an ointment, as well as an injection, see?

16. Use IPSAB as an aid to the gums, to have better surface and to keep the better conditions in the mouth. Use this at least every other day for ten to twelve days, then about once a week. Massage the gums, inside and out, with the finger or small tuft of cotton dampened with the Ipsab.

17. Then use Lavoris as a gargle morning and night, not only for the throat but as an intestinal antiseptic - and for better conditions through the digestive forces themselves. Consequently, if small quantities are swallowed it will be alright, but not being particular that this is done, see? Mix this with a little water, but use almost full strength as a gargle, see?

18. AS the conditions are corrected, the nerve tensions will be relieved, and with the digestive forces being improved ALL conditions will improve.

19. In the diet - be mindful that there are more of foods carrying the Vitamin B and B-1; such as may be found in

2470-1 Page 3

steel cut oats, especially, and in cracked wheat, as well as liver and the juices of broiled beef.

20. Do that.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) What causes hemorrhage when teeth are extracted? Should the two teeth be extracted now? (A) Not until corrections have been made and there's an equalization of the circulation through the body, so as to prevent hemorrhage. This is caused from the unbalanced circulation. Do not take one of the treatments without the other. Do not expect mere diet, nor the mere taking of the medicinal properties or corrective properties for the balance in the body to bring about normalcy; for these are given to be helpful WITH the osteopathic adjustments indicated. Hence DO ALL of those things outlined, TOGETHER, in a consistent manner, and we will see results!

23. We are through for the present.
