Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Chicago, Ill.
1. HLC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. Now as we find, there are disturbances the correction of which would not only remove a great deal of nerve tension that at times exists, but would also prevent some conditions from becoming of such natures as to produce greater disturbance later in other directions.
4. These, then, are disturbances as we find them:
5. As we have indicated through this channel, in the activity of the varied influences in the body there are various centers through which the physical, mental and imaginative or spiritual forces are manifested.
6. In growth and development of a body, some of these may become suppressed by very slight pressures existent from a physical disturbance; from a diseased portion of the body, or may produce a disease in the body.
7. Here we have conditions where a disturbance in the soft tissue of nasal passages and the antrums prevents the raising of the mental intuitive and reaction force "through" those portions of the body. Thus confusion is caused by the pressure existing there, in reflex action to the activities of the body-forces themselves.
8. While these are slight in the present, these may become such as to cause not only this lapse in the ability of the mental reactions through those physical conditions produced in the body, but may produce disturbances to the digestive force; as well as those conditions that may become tendencies even towards functional disturbances in organs themselves. Unless physical corrections are made, these disturbances physically may occur, in addition to the
2471-1 Page 2
inability of the mental reactions in those directions as sought by the physical-mental body.
9. These effects arise because of the lack of that proper impulse from the connections between sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, in ganglia along the cerebrospinal system, to supply sufficient of the impulse to set up drainages through the areas.
10. Hence we have a form of growth, or adenoid, though small, that - with the raising of the activity through the mental impulse - causes a nerve reflex.
11. Thus we have trouble with the eyes, as well as with this condition in the nasal passage and in the frontal antrum.
12. If these pressures were relieved, we find that in the present there would not be the necessity for the use of glasses for close study or for such work; also there would be better physical conditions throughout the body - through the relieving of these pressures to the optic force.
13. Then - under the direction of one - here - such as Saxmann - make those corrections in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area; with particular reference to setting up better drainages.
14. Have at least a series of these corrections; say every day - or every other day - for some ten or fifteen; rest a period of two weeks from same, and then have another series of another week - where there would be corrections and, in making these adjustments, special attention to the vegetative centers.
15. Also through the diet we would aid the system, in bodily assimilation, to prepare or give to the body those impulses as would be beneficial in producing better drainages in that part of the body.
16. In the diet - keep away from carbonated drinks of any kind. Keep away from too much of white breads, or potatoes, or great quantities of starches.
17. As a tonic we would take one ADIRON tablet with each meal, or at least twice each day; for periods of three weeks at a time, with a rest period from same of a week, then take again; until at least the middle of May.
18. These, as combined with the corrections made by Saxmann, should bring the better conditions and influences for this body, [2471].
19. The rest of the system, as we find from the general standpoint, is very well.
20. To be sure, there are changes taking place through the body physically and mentally; but with these corrections made in the present as indicated, those tendencies and inclinations in other directions may be eliminated; and the
2471-1 Page 3
body will be aided in concentrating better - through the coordinating of imaginative impulse as well as the general mental reactions and reflexes as occur through activities in study and in application of the physical self towards the general physical, mental and spiritual attributes of the body.
21. Do that.
22. Ready for questions.
23. (Q) How can he make better progress in his study of mathematics, which he needs for engineering? (A) As indicated, this removal of pressures in the manner outlined will allow for the ability of better concentration - and that is what is needed for application in mathematics.
24. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Do these, consistently, persistently.
25. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mother Copy to Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Dr. Robert Saxmann, 7236 Yale Ave., Chicago, Ill. You can show Dr. Saxmann the Reading, as he knows Mr. Cayce and has had experience with following the directions given in Readings. Adiron is manufactured and distributed by The Lawrence Laboratories, 7220 Sheridan Rd., Chicago, Ill. It sells for $1 a bottle of 60 tablets, $3 a bottle of 250 tablets. According to the Readings it is the best balanced vitamin tablet on the market.) t.)
