1. HLC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - what a scramble!

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2476].

4. The entity is an Uranian; one very psychic, and very much given to search out mysteries of all natures; one who may make a very wonderful success in this experience or a real mess of it all.

5. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, there are many phases of same, and many approaches - in attempting to interpret the activities of the entity through the material sojourns. But these and their various phases are chosen with the desire and expectancy that the entity may apply same in a manner as to become a helpful experience for the entity. However, the entity may so abuse the opportunities, or even the abilities, as to turn same into rather a stumblingstone than a steppingstone towards helpful forces.

6. According to the application of the entity thus far, we find that little of the astrological aspects - as ordinarily interpreted - would be in keeping with the experiences of the entity. Yet, as indicated, with its abilities the entity should attain to a position of helpfulness in such wide and varied fields that it would be well to give some attention to those latent urges arising from the astrological aspects.

2476-1 Page 2

7. As we have indicated, these urges arise because of planetary sojourns, rather than the astrological phases ordinarily termed in the entity's chart.

8. These, as we find, are the astrological urges:

9. From both Uranus and Mercury we find the high mental abilities; yet the entity is one that is considered by many at times as quite lazy in his use of the knowledge that is a part of the entity's experience. This is either good or bad, dependent upon that purpose for which the entity acts in such periods, and the use of the contemplation that arises from delay in activity.

10. Also from Uranus we find the great VARIETY of activities; and the extremes; also the tendencies for varied activities and associations with quite unusual conditions, both physical and mental, as well as of the psychic nature. Yet abilities to tell or to hold the interest of others are a part of the experience that may be turned into quite a helpful influence; if there is the seeking, the knowing of the own ideal, and the choosing of same as a creative, helpful influence in the experience of self as well as in the channels and lives of those whom the entity may influence by its word as well as its activity.

11. In Jupiter we find rather the tendencies and urges for the activities to be of the universal nature, or among the populace, or in associations with quite varied characters or groups, and in quite varied connections of other lands.

12. For, the abilities in the diplomatic service or activity, or relationships, bring opportunities and duties, as well as the opportunity for the misuse or the turning of same into self-indulgence, self-egoism, selfishness. Against such activities as these the entity should be warned. Use same, do not abuse same.

13. As to the appearances in the earth, and their influence upon the present activities of the entity - we find that these have been quite varied as to positions socially, and as to environs.

14. Thus we find one high-strung, one quick in judgements - and usually correct in the first judgement; yet oft slow in its activity or choice of the course to pursue in the conditions, or even in the individual relations or activities that are chosen.

15. Before this the entity acted in the capacity of a clerk or secretary to a diplomatic agency; during the periods when there were the searchings of those who were leaders in the American Revolution.

16. In the French court when the American land was represented by both Franklin and Jefferson, the entity acted

2476-1 Page 3

in the capacity of a go-between in or among the French peoples.

17. Thus the entity at present is gifted in a diplomatic manner, or in the abilities to search out and to find things - as in the nature of the detective activity; the searching for truths in their various forms.

18. These at times tend to produce a very materialistic nature; when judgements are drawn from same by the purely materialistic attitude of individuals engaged in activities connected with the entity in such relationships.

19. The name then was Eldred Marshall. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost. So long as the purposes, aims and desires were in a constructive direction for a helpful influence, the entity gained and the development was good. When these were used as a means of promoting self's own egotism, they became detrimental forces.

20. Thus we find in the present experience that oft there are the sudden choices as to directions or activities the entity desires to take with individuals or groups, or with position or conditions; and then finds itself dissatisfied, because of problems that hinder the entity from carrying out its search - that is as the hobby or the real ability of the entity.

21. Temper thy choices with ideals, rather than just ideas. And in the search for knowledge, let there be always chosen first the ideal as to the influence directing the search; so that there may be the wisdom to apply same.

22. Before that the entity was in the Promised Land during the periods when the Master walked in the earth.

23. The entity was aware of those activities, and yet questioned self throughout the experience - as to whether it were the most expedient thing for self to accept or to reject same; though the entity was convinced in self that there was that worth while in same, because of that produced in the experience of its associates and many of its friends.

24. There the entity lost its greater opportunity for embracing, or for fully comprehending, knowing the meaning of what indeed is truth in the experience of an individual, in its relationships to its fellow man.

25. For, the entity then was a tax gatherer, but of those peoples who were of the faith in that land; and especially was the entity acquainted with Levi and Matthew.

26. From that sojourn we find the entity in the present is oft in those positions where it may be entrusted with individual activity that at times becomes a weight or a burden to the entity. This is well, provided the activity

2476-1 Page 4

is used constructively - or there is the comprehending of the opportunities the entity has through such experiences.

27. There are the needs for the having of an IDEAL, - mentally, physically, spiritually; and to realize that only the spiritual values continue. Good lives on. God is Spirit. Man in his creative abilities, in his inner self or soul, is also spirit. Then individually, wherever thy purpose is set, there is thy god. If it is set in self-indulgence, self-glorification, attainment, fame, fortune or what not, it perishes with the passing thereof. Only good continues.

28. The name then was Lectus.

29. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land during those activities when there were the preparations of those peoples who sought to return to the Promised Land.

30. The entity was among those known as the noblemen of that land; being the son of the priest of Heliopolis - in the name Sololoun.

31. In the activities the entity came under the "spell", as it were, of the leaders of those peoples; learning much of that faith as it sustained those peoples under their trials, their tribulations. ALMOST the entity succeeded in gaining the wisdom and understanding that comes with the interpretation of spiritual truths within the material mind, material body, through the mind.

32. The entity became closely affiliated with the activities throughout that period, and yet was one who lost the life when the angel of death covered that land; marking the separation of those that wholly accepted and those that accepted only as a material defense.

33. In the present from that sojourn we find those influences and abilities to make unusual associations or connections - to hear of and to be entrusted with the experiences of unusual individuals, in unusual places, under such varying circumstances. Yet how little the entity has applied most of these opportunities!

34. The entity is lacking then not in wisdom, not in understanding, but rather in the purpose of its ideal.

35. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods when there were those disturbances wrought between the sons of Belial and the children of the Law of One.

36. There the entity hoped and attempted to be on both sides at once. This brought confusions. There was conviction in the entity's experience, and almost too late the entity did understand those conditions that arose - as to that necessary; for an individual to make self selfless, if it

2476-1 Page 5

would attain the more.

37. As to the abilities in the present, then:

38. In those fields of the diplomatic service there may be the greater opportunities, or activities in which there is the searching out of facts; or in the diplomatic service where the entity may be entrusted with power to make closer relationships with other groups, other activities. To be empowered with such is an obligation. Keep same inviolate.

39. The GREATER SERVICE the entity may find in WRITING, and in the explanations of the unusual experiences in the varied portions of the land; and as to how and in what manner they emanate from the one ideal.

40. Study first, then, to know what is thy ideal, - spiritually, mentally, materially; not as to what ye would have others do for thee, but rather the ideal manner for thee to live - in relationship to God, to thy fellow man, and to thyself.

41. Know that if you are true to thine own self, thou wilt not be false to any.

42. Look within self.

43. Study, analyze self and self's motives, self's purposes. Are they in keeping with the Author of thy ideals?

44. Then show thyself approved unto that ideal chosen; keeping self unspotted from condemnation of others, and - most of all - condemn not - in self or in others.

45. WRITE that thou hast seen, hast heard; for it is a goodly way to live in that path that is good.

46. Ready for questions.

47. (Q) Is my task sufficiently completed in my present post to release me for other activity? (A) As we find, not sufficient to wholly release. For, it carries with same an obligation that must be carried on.

48. (Q) If so, what direction should that take, and where? (A) Keep in those activities, as indicated, in which there are the better outlets for the abilities, as well as the outlets that make for the greater growth towards fulfilling that purpose for which ye entered this experience. Being forewarned, be forearmed - as to those treacherous paths that at times might lead thee to unseemly ends.

49. (Q) Continuation in the Latin-American field has been suggested. My personal urge under present world conditions is to ask for a post, say in London. Which of these would seem to offer a greater constructive opportunity? (A) The Latin-American field offers the greater constructive opportunity; though if there were the post for the time in London it would be well, as a preparation for

2476-1 Page 6

future work in the Latin-American countries.

50. (Q) Please suggest any nucleus or person who would help me combat the forces that I have been struggling against, a fight which I feel more and more strongly is to be my drive for the future? (A) It may be found in self and not outside of self! For, making thyself strong for the right thou hast chosen brings the forces within and without self to thy aid.
