1. GC: You will have before you the entity [2487], born December 14, 1902, in Decatur City, Iowa, who seeks a continuation of her Life Reading, with regard to her present life and work. You will answer the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2487].
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Is it to be that I am to marry in this incarnation? (A) In the present environments of the entity, such conditions and relationships are the matter of the choice of the entity. And as we find, this is a possibility and a probability. But as to the choices that the entity will make, as to who or just when - it is not at present indicated in this experience. Yet if the entity does choose to, this may be accomplished - but it is and must be of the entity's own choice.
5. (Q) If I am to be reunited with my mate this time please tell me any important things that marked our relationship before that will influence this union? (A) This as we find may be better indicated by those responses in the associations as will be experienced when and as the entity is in associations with such an individual. It is not necessarily true that any special individual may be called a mate, as there have been many - as we have indicated in the experiences of the entity in the earth - in which there may be the present relationships that would have much to do with the completing of efforts, the completing of activities in relationships to others. And these, as all that is of the creative nature, must respond one to another; as in mechanical things, the mortise to the tenon; as in all such relationships, there are those attractions. That the mental abilities of individuals are such that these may be directed in this or that channel is an indication of free will. And it is not necessarily true, because there were relationships of such natures before,

that these will be the same relationships in the present. But these are choices. The answer is within self. For, it applies to material associations just as to the spiritual counterpart, "My spirit beareth witness with thy spirit." The manifestations of same are through that which is the builder, when considered in the material plane - the MIND.
6. (Q) In the last reading it was stated that I should stay in my present position for two years. This I have done. What specific suggestions do you make now for changing to something in which I will be able to more fully accomplish what I incarnated for this time? (A) As we find, the preparation of self in a mental attitude and state is now such that, if there is the determination within self - from the information indicated - as to what ideals and purposes are in the experience of the individual, and if the entity then knows what it has decided, what it wishes to do - the way (if the entity is letting it be known that it desires changes) will be opened for the entity. When there are definite conditions set in motion to carry through with purposes, the mental and spiritual forces are set in motion, and THEN the individual chooses the course, the place, the direction it takes.
7. (Q) If I am not to change positions, is there any karmic condition which I am to work out here? (A) As just given - or much might be said respecting karmic conditions. These are builded more in the mental self than in the spiritual self. For, changes - IDEALS, not ideas but ideals - are of spiritual concepts. If the entity rejects such, as it sometimes does in self, these naturally build barriers. But these are as we have just indicated - have you chosen what you desire to do? Have you decided whether you would like - not merely like, but as an ideal, - to build a home and its environs, taking over its duties, its obligations? or is there such of self that it desires to accomplish its ideals with its own freedom of activity? Then, in such choices that which has been of the karmic nature becomes the activative principle in the experience. But if there is the choice that this or that, whatever may be the choice, will be met in Him, then the karmic force is not necessarily something that you must meet irrespective. For, a way is opened through Him. This ye may accept, this ye may reject.

8. (Q) Have I previously been associated with my present principal and is this affecting our relationship? (A) There has been an association. This does affect the relationship. As to the choices taken respecting future relationships, this depends upon ideals and principles that are set in motion by each.
9. (Q) It was suggested also in my reading that I was to write. Can you advise me as to the type of material I should attempt? (A) It has been indicated as to what type. Whether it is to be of the nature of those influences that are as texts, or whether in the nature of stories that would influence the moral or the life of individuals, is a choice the entity may make. But let the basis be of the historical nature if there would be the outlining of that to which the entity may best adapt its abilities for successful preparation of such data, paper, book, leaflet, pamphlet, or whatever manner in which same would be presented.
10. (Q) Should I join the Waacs, the Spars or the women's reserve corp of the Marines? (A) This, again, depends upon what is thy ideal. If it is the desire, or if it is the idea, prompted because of a general environ, this would not be well. If it is prompted by a deeper insight or knowledge, or desire to offer self and self's abilities in a direction that offers an opportunity for fulfillment of ideals concerning same, it is well - whether it be the Waacs or the Waves or the Marine reserve corp. But those activities as would have to do with Waacs would be more in keeping with the PRESENT tendencies of the entity.
11. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) As indicated before - first, in all considerations, know self and thine own ideal - spiritually, mentally, materially. Stress not one more than the other; but an idea without a spirit, or based upon spiritual ideals, is already dead - or is without life, and may be only as an automatic reaction. DO keep true to thy ideals.
