Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2491].

3. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions as prevent the better physical functioning through this body.

4. In the present these have become rather a complication of disturbances. These in the beginning came from the seepage in the walls of the circulation itself; and without the means used of the absorption, there has been produced or brought about the conditions existent in the present.

5. We find that these may be materially aided, with consistency and persistency. Not normal conditions may be brought, but they may be materially aided so that the activities of the body physically and mentally may manifest much more in this material plane.

6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2491] we are speaking of, present in this room:

7. The blood supply in the beginning was the source or cause of the disturbance, owing to the lack of sufficient elements to induce or produce the proper coagulations through the circulatory forces. Thus there became the thinned walls in portions of the body, that with the violent exercises caused the first disturbance.

8. In the present we find low vitality in the blood supply, owing to the inability of the proper assimilations through the system.

9. Thus the form of anemia that is presented arises from that lack in the lymph and the emunctory circulation, owing to the necessity there has been for the use of sedatives and hypnotics - that have kept this portion of the circulation in abeyance.

2491-1 Page 2

10. The sedatives may be gradually lessened, but certainly should not be suddenly changed.

11. In the nervous system we find a source and a cause of the present agitans disturbance, or the inability of the coordination between the central nervous system and the sympathetic.

12. To be sure, this is indicated more in the locomotory centers - the lumbar as well as, more specifically, the brachial area - or in the upper centers of locomotion.

13. While it is indicated mostly here, we find that there are other centers also indicating the lack of this coordination - through the general portions of the body; especially as related to those disturbances for the assimilating and eliminating system.

14. Hence in the eliminating there is caused a great deal of toxic conditions, that at times become most aggravating to the body - making it necessary for the use of properties that only add to the confusion in the system's adjusting itself to the conditions necessary for the betterment of the body.

15. We find in the activities of the organs themselves that the brain forces are very good. Reflexes are not at all times good, owing to the inability of coordinating the cerebrospinal or the central and the sympathetic nerve forces of the body.

16. These react, then, so that the organs of the sensory forces become at times acute, at other times they become involved; as in the vision, the hearing, the taste, the ability to centralize or locate the individual activities through the body. These effects may all be existent at once, or they may change and only one of these centers be involved at the time.

17. The throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx, naturally are under the stress because of the anemia and the effects to portions of the circulation. These are not normal, yet they are not involved other than sympathetically in the general disturbance.

18. Heart's activity is very good, considering the conditions under which the body has necessarily labored at times. It is not normal, yet very good in its reaction.

19. Digestive system is very much upset at times; as is the ability of the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, to function with the assimilating system; or the gastric flows become disturbed at times.

20. In the activities throughout the body pressures exist in certain areas, as we have indicated.

21. These as we find should first be taken into

2491-1 Page 3

consideration, and make those additions and stimulations to portions of the body so that there may be added to the body that which is lacking, in order to cause a nearer normal balance.

22. First, then, we would begin with these applications:

23. Each evening when ready to retire, have - for at least twenty to thirty minutes - a gentle massage and rubdown along the whole of the cerebrospinal system, using Peanut Oil. Massage in a circular motion along both sides of the spinal system, first one side and then the other. Let the body absorb all of this oil that it will absorb. Do not hurry through the massage. Let the one making the application take the time to give it. Pour the oil into a saucer, and dipping the fingers in same massage thoroughly but gently, in a circular motion, from the base of the brain to the central portion of the spine. Then massage from the end of the spine, across the lumbar and sacral area, upward to the central portion - or at the 9th dorsal - on either side, thoroughly. Take twenty to thirty minutes to do this.

24. After the massage, apply the electrically driven vibrator, using the Sponge Applicator. This should be done thoroughly and gently, for at least twenty minutes. This would also be given in a circular motion, but more on the spine than on either side of the spine. Then it would be given across the diaphragm area, and then let it be given on either side, especially.

25. The body may be sponged off after this, if so desired, along the areas here the applications have been made.

26. Also apply twice each week the low electrical vibrations of the Wet Cell Appliance, carrying the Gold in one treatment and Atomidine in the next treatment. These we would give on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for thirty minutes.

27. The Gold Solution would be used in the proportions of one grain to each ounce of Distilled Water (and use at least four or five ounces). Attach the small copper plate to the brachial center, or the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, and the larger nickel plate through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially would be attached to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus. This attachment would be made on Tuesdays, you see, for thirty minutes.

28. The Atomidine would be used in the proportions of one ounce of Atomidine to one ounce of Distilled Water (and use at least four or five ounces of the solution, you see). Attach the small copper plate to the lumbar axis, and the larger nickel plate - through which the Atomidine Solution passes vibratorially - to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus. This attachment would be made on Thursdays, you see,

for thirty minutes.

29. Alternate these in the manners indicated, one on Tuesday and one on Thursday, each week.

30. Do not leave off the sedatives that have been taken, when they are necessary; but as the body responds these may be cut down as to quantity, and other things may be suggested to be taken internally.

31. As to the diet - we find that a great deal of the effects that may be created in the system will have to do with the diet, or be according to the consistency of the body in its diet.

32. Mornings - have cereals OR citrus fruits. Do not have both at the same meal. The yolk of eggs may be taken, though do not take the egg whites - however these are prepared.

33. Do not take fried foods; but have all of the fish that the body may well take. Don't take same until it is abhorrent to the body, but fish is beneficial - prepared in the various ways or manners. All sea foods are well for the body, that the body can or will assimilate.

34. Foods that are yellow in color should be plentiful in the diet; carrots - both raw and cooked; squash - the yellow neck; yellow peaches; yellow corn. All of these are well, that carry the Vitamin B-1. It will be better to take the vitamins in these foods than to take them alone.

35. But DO take Knox Gelatin in its various forms, as prepared in foods AND alone. Take some each day.

36. Do all of these for a period of thirty days, and then we will give the further instructions. We will find changes and beneficial results from these.

37. Ready for questions.

38. (Q) What should be done to correct acid condition of mouth? (A) As indicated, changing the foods to those things not so acid will bring bettered conditions gradually. For the specific conditions in the present, it would be well to take each morning before breakfast a teaspoonful of Upjohn's Citrocarbonate in a glass of water. Do this until the condition clears up.

39. (Q) What causes and what should be done for psoriasis? (A) As just indicated, the preparing and taking into the system of those properties that will aid in CORRECTING these nerve tensions, as produced by lack of the vital forces to produce the proper reactions.

40. (Q) What should be done for the nervous condition, for which I have been taking ammonium pills, which don't help much? (A) Continue to take the pills, but gradually reduce the quantity - as there are the effects upon the body of those

2491-1 Page 5

things given here. Do these things as we have outlined.

41. (Q) What should be done for the stiff joints? (A) All that is suggested to be applied will be an aid for these; but it will also be helpful to massage the Peanut Oil over the joints, the limbs, the arms - especially the under portions, or in the pit, and under the knees, see? Do these; being persistent and consistent. And keep the mental attitude toward a better and a more creative influence.

42. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See article [which was enclosed] illustrating the Wet Cell Appliance.
