1. GC: You will please describe in detail the attachments or instruments and how to make them, that you have given in former readings for eliminating static and vibration for radio receiving set.

2. EC: For the eliminator we would prepare as this, using glass tube 4 1/2" long, 2 1/2" diameter. In this there would be coil copper wire formed in a figure 8. At each turn there would be placed 3 discs in a perpendicular position, the discs of the composition of mica or of the same material as used as detector in phonograph reproducing box. These discs in sets, however, would be slotted, tapering from center to the edge of discs, so that slot is at least quarter of an inch wide at outer edge. These would be so set on the wire, with the composition of beeswax, the wire or figure would be so set that with adjustment of same the expansion would be made in the figure so as to widen the distance between the discs, either in up and down motion, or by expansion of the figure. This would be attached in a vertical position between batteries and detectors, or boosters, for the receiving set.

3. The other eliminator for the smoothness of the sound as received would be the same style, yet some smaller in diameter, and the discs would be on a copper wire, stationary, and of small enough diameter to set in the parallel position on a hairpin shape wire, being 3 discs on each. The entrance wire being the disc that would begin with the red, then blue, then yellow, then beginning at the top on opposite wire would be red, then blue, then yellow, the circuit being completed through the colors that the vibration of color interference with message vibration of instrument or voice may be eliminated from the boosted or magnified vibration created in the set. The material being either of hardened celluloid or of the mica discs fastened to wire in same manner as the other, and this also would be in the vertical stand. That is, the tube set vertical and attached to the same wire as the eliminator between eliminator and booster or detector. This we find would be

set in the same character of formation as to prevent short circuit through this eliminator, the two forming that connection necessary to boost and eliminate and smooth the received vibration from a sending radio in attune with a receiving set of same vibration.

4. We are through for the present.
