Time of Reading 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Chicago, Ill.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of [2497] of ..., Avenue, Chicago, Ill., and you will give that information, advice and counsel that will help this body at this time, and you will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. This we have had before.
3. Now, for advice, counsel, or that as would be beneficial to this entity at this time - in the physical, this very good.
4. In the mental and the spiritual, this much, yet, in that way and manner as has been given the entity - for, as is seen, this the better counsel for the entity:
5. First seek the Lord and HIS ways, and that in the material will be added in its order - for, as has been given, and as is seen, the entity has passed through those experiences in the earth's plane that, applied in the knowledge of the day, may fit the entity, will the entity but apply that knowledge in its application in that way and manner that will prove the beneficial effect to self and to many others.
6. As has been given, in the east from this place should the entity reside, being nearer many of those elements, those conditions, that go to make up the more satisfactory conditions for that environment in which the entity has gained its present earthly experience and knowledge.
7. Then, study thyself, that thy word of mouth, thy action in body, thine temperament within self, may be wholly [holy?] and acceptable unto Him, for the temple (the body) is that temple of the living God, and to present same BLAMELESS unto Him is a reasonable service, and this is that, "Thy spirit beareth witness with my spirit, whether ye be the children of God or not." Ready for questions.
8. Take counsel in self. Give unto self that worthy, acceptable period of service, for in service to others is lending to that Creative Energy that makes or destroys lives. Lives are as worlds, for each is of that material of

which the universe is and was created - for in the life of the entity enters many of those conditions that may be made into miracles or crimes.
9. (Q) Is there any change of material or social importance coming to me within the next year? (A) This, as is seen and as has been given, is of the entity's, the body's, making. First add self wholly to that principle of desiring to be of service, and putting same in application will bring that social position, that counsel that attracts that that is of the best for the entity. Knowing, then, this is of the entity's own building. Not that entity in body, mind or intent should be of the sober - neither indifferent; of the recluse - neither the shiftless one; of that of seeking higher position - yet never taking the lowest, for that as is merited by the act BRINGS its reward.
10. (Q) Will my trip East this October bring me happiness? (A) It should - for to the East, and in the east from that position where the entity dwells, should the entity find the greater happiness, as has been given.
11. (Q) What will come of my friendship with [M...] of Chicago? (A) That is of the entity's own making - just as the friendship, the association, with each and every other individual each entity meets, and entity is of that as that responds one to another, in the various applications of the experiences of the entity, and that as is done with same is that free-will gift of the Creative Force as is applied in every energy.
12. (Q) Will I be married within the next year? (A) If so desired.
13. (Q) Do I know the person I am to marry? If not, when will I meet him? (A) That is of the entity's own making, and of the entity's own desire.
14. (Q) Will I have financial and material comfort? (A) Would the entity have financial and material comfort, add that to self first that merits same, and through same may the entity be very sure - for, as has been given, "I will not forsake those who do my biddings," for those who serve God in the fullness of life have ever had, as EVER will have, the gifts - the best gifts - in life.
