1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief for this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2499].

3. As we find, conditions here may be materially aided. While it will require consistency and persistency, if there will be administered the concerted and coordinant activity, help may be brought to the muscular forces as hindered in their activity through the lower extremities and the right portion of the body.

4. These are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2499] we are speaking of:

5. There has existed for some time back a condition in the coccyx and the lumbar areas in which pressures upon the locomotories and to the brush end of the cerebrospinal system affect indirectly and directly the right portion of the body.

6. Hence we find that these pressures exist in the LEFT area of the coccyx and the lumbar axis.

7. To be sure, these at varied times have varied effects upon the body. More recently these have gradually begun to affect other portions of the body.

8. That there has not begun the withering or the cutting off entirely of the circulation indicates that helpful forces may be given.

9. As various effects are accomplished in the system, these will require changes.

10. A great deal of that existing in the present is gradually becoming static. Hence there will be required periods of administrations only to aid in relaxing the

muscular forces, to break up the lesions, as well as the congestions formed about portions of the segments of the body. This condition and this congestion must necessarily, then, be taken into consideration - that it be liquified or so broken up as to allow for eliminations to carry these off. This, with the inability of activity of the body, as combined with the slowing of peristaltic movement and thus the poor eliminations, must be considered.

11. As we find, then - every day except one day of the week (say Thursday, and on that day we would use another compound), we would massage the cerebrospinal system with Peanut Oil; very thoroughly, all that the body will absorb. Begin at the head and go down either side of the spinal column, and especially at the brachial center - or that area between the shoulders, and that area across the small of the back, and to the end of the spine. This had best be done of an evening, so that when the sponge bath is given of mornings there will not be left those refuse forces making it hard for the body respiratory reaction.

12. Do not give this massage as something to be hurried through with, but take thirty to forty minutes to massage all that the body will absorb. Pour the Peanut Oil into a saucer, dip the fingers into it and massage gently, in a rotary motion.

13. On each Thursday evening, instead of the Peanut Oil, we would use another compound - prepared in this manner:

14. To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil, add - in the order named: Oil of Pine Needles......................1 ounce, Oil of Mustard.........................1/4 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root..................1/2 ounce. Shake these together before the compound is poured in an open container, for these will tend to separate as it sets in the container, see? This would be massaged more specifically over the sacral and lumbar areas, and the brachial center; while the Peanut Oil would be massaged thoroughly over ALL the cerebrospinal system and the limbs also; lower limbs, especially around the knee, or under the knee, and the feet and ankles.

15. Then be mindful of the eliminations. Have at least one evacuation from the alimentary canal every day.

16. If it is necessary, use enemas to assist in better eliminations. This is much preferable to taking cathartics.

17. If there is the necessity of cathartics, use the mineral salts - as Sal Hepatica; for it will be more effective through a sluggish colon.

18. Use those foods that are laxative in their nature; that is, as stewed raisins, figs, prunes - these may be dried or the fresh figs when they are obtainable. Otherwise, dried figs, prunes, prune juices, prune whip and the like.

19. Keep away from any quantities of meats. If any meats are taken, take only fish, fowl or lamb, and never any of these fried.

20. No fried foods at all.

21. Have a great deal of fruit and raw vegetables. These are to be the characters of food taken.

22. Do not take white breads or great quantities of starches.

23. Do these for eight weeks, and then we would give the further instructions according to how great has been the response to the applications as indicated here, and as to that necessary for bringing further corrective measures.

24. But do not give part and not all! In eight weeks we will give further instructions - if there is the response.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) What should be done for the cramps and drawing when it occurs? (A) Do these things indicated for the eight weeks; then we would give further instructions.

27. We are through for the present. Copy to Mother " " Ass'n file (Let us know when you have followed these for eight weeks, so we can make appointment for Ck. Physical. By what name do the doctors call her condition?) on?)
