Madison Rural Time of Reading Sanitarium, Rm. 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. 2, Madison, Tenn. (803 So. Campbell St., ..., Ky.)
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2500].
3. As we find, the general debilitation with the specific reactions in the organs from time to time have caused the disturbances that exist.
4. Hence the weakening in the activities of the respiratory system, the condition in the blood supply that lacks the creating of the vitality; and yet in the system's activities there are those poisons or salts that have become of a form which prevents the better use of the locomotaries and the muscular forces through portions of the body.
5. The administrations being made are very good - the rest and the quiet, and the types of applications.
6. We would make these additions:
7. Over those portions where there are the weaknesses in the muscular forces and tissue, we would use the Epsom Salts Packs to relax the body. Apply these for about an hour each day; and following same we would rub the body with all the Peanut Oil that it will absorb - in the areas of the muscular forces across the small of the back, the knees and limbs, the hands and elbows.
8. To relieve the conditions in throat and respiratory system, making for better conditions through the purifying of the blood, we would use an inhalant two or three times each day from this combination of properties:
9. To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus..............20 minims,

Compound Tincture of Benzoin...15 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp..........10 minims, Tolu in Solution...............20 minims. Put this compound in at least a six or eight ounce, large-mouthed bottle, that has two vents through the cork, but extending not into the solution - merely into the space above the solution, and these to be kept tightly corked except when in use. When to be used, remove corks, after shaking the bottle, and inhale two or three times a day through the nasal passages, as well as through the mouth, deep into the lungs; only the fumes from same - that arise from shaking the solution and the natural evaporation.
10. In the diets - we would add, with the others that are being administered in the present - the Pure Beef Juice; not as stew, but prepared as beef juice, and make same fresh each day. Take only a teaspoonful at the time, but about three to four times each day, and let the body be at least five minutes in sipping the spoonful. Sip it very slowly, so that it assimilates almost as it is taken. This will be found to agree with the body.
11. Add to the body the vitamins especially of A and D. These may be had best in that preparation known as One A Day Vitamin Tablets. Take only one a day.
12. Also we would add B-1 in the foods; as the beef juice is a source of same, and also steel cut oats and cracked wheat cereal occasionally - cooked a long while. Cook these in a double boiler and keep covered throughout the cooking, so as to preserve the real value. Also yellow neck squash, carrots (both cooked and raw), yellow peaches (as the canned) - these are well for the body.
13. Do these; keeping in the open as much as practical, with plenty of rest. But DO have the rubs at least once a day, following the use of the saturated solution of Salts over the painful areas.
14. Ready for questions.
