1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2519]. This body we have had before. Now, we find there are specific conditions as cause distresses at times with the physical functioning of this body. These conditions are local in their nature, yet are gradually effecting, causing, by the state of being of the affectation, greater distress to the whole system - and would continue to do so unless the seat or the cause of this condition is removed. While we find the body physically fit in many respects, able to store energy in the greater physical sense, yet the vitality through those portions that are so affected gradually are weakening the system, that this, too, may succumb - unless radical changes were made for the body. The body MENTALLY presents an unusual condition as related to the physical activities of the body, so that the body has been and is capable of routing many conditions that would to some bodies become not only aggravating but very detrimental physically in the EFFECT they would create. Hence we find the unusualness of conditions as related to this body, [2519]. While, in some respects, the mental body would not be considered as advanced as others, yet in the basic principles of that necessary to live the full effective life is with this body a part and to others is scarcely existent. These, then, are the troublesome conditions and, being specific, represent and present specific conditions existent in the physical body. In times back we find there was existent that of an injury of a minor nature at the time, that caused in the 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal, an improper radiation of nerve energy to the body. With the contraction of cold and congestion, this condition became aggravated by the physical system warding or walling off, as it were, the injuries to the system. This continuation of the system to ward this off has prevented gradually that cording of nerve plasm centers to the throat, the bronchials, and to the nasal portion of the system. This has gradually made that
2519-1 Page 2
tendency of the system to send as warriors too much of the mucus-producing portions of the vital forces in blood supply, or blood plasm, until throat irritation, nasal irritation, bronchial irritation, are the result. There has been existent for a GREATER period of time that condition in the pelvic organs, that has prevented the normal illumination, and consequently the normal elimination, of the organs of the system through the periods of menstruation. Hence, with this position, the organs of the pelvis, or the womb itself, has been drawn into - has continued to produce distressing conditions at times, and especially were there an overtaxation of the body, or the tiredness of the body in physical or mental ways and manners, or cold or congestion - these were made more severe.
2. Now, ORDINARILY such conditions as has been seen or described here, would possibly have made invalids of many. THIS body, within itself, and with its ability to draw from the vital forces of itself, has warded these off - yet the physical must be the nearer physically fit, near NORMAL in their position and in their relations one to another - all organs of the system coordinating, vibrating, reflexing to the attunement of the mental and the physical beings, to give proper reaction and proper dissemination of forces through the system.
3. Now, to correct these conditions, we would have two distinct types of applications or treatments for this body. First we will find ONE character will be of assistance to both conditions, yet there must be ADDED conditions or treatments for both conditions. The general manipulation and correction, osteopathically, of those conditions existent in the upper dorsal region will relieve that in the central nerve system as related to the bronchial, the throat, and the antrum or nasal cavities, aided by the use of an inhalant - antiseptic in its nature, which will assist in bringing about normal conditions.
4. For that in the lumbar and the pelvic regions, these will be necessary to be of a deeper nature, and must be properly relaxed by preferably wet heat, with the application of light rays before corrections are made - and these made gradually, not all at once - and will require longer treatment than that in the dorsal region. First they are of longer standing, next they have become in the nature or the character near that of lesions, and causing adhesions within the organs themselves. Thence necessary for the treatment locally of the organ, by placing same in pack, that that is ORDINARILY or at some times called curetting - may be made
2519-1 Page 3
effective by the use of medicated packs, and the conditions brought to normal, where even that of the creation - or the ability of the body to germinate, and to bring forth for the self and for that of the mental being that may be created within, or production [reproduction] may take place.
5. These, then, would be necessary: The proper manipulations osteopathically, and the proper CORRECTIONS gradually made, but keep for self that mental image as is kept before self, in the ability of the creative forces acting through self to cast off and to make whole. Keep that before self continually, even while those physical conditions are being made aright. These should not require longer than sixty to ninety days. Treatments should be given for the upper portion every other day. For the lumbar and sacral, these may be given every other day, but the CORRECTIONS not made more than once each week. Local applications every three to five days, when these are begun. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) How often should the light be given? (A) When corrections are to be made. It's just given!
7. (Q) What causes pain over right lung? (A) Just as described, that effect as is created by the creation of too much of those forces as are attempting to alleviate the condition through that of creating too much of the serums, or the vital forces as are attempting to ward off conditions. The effects are from the subluxations existent in the 4th, 5th and 6th dorsal region.
8. (Q) Does this cause also the backache? (A) It does. Do as we have given, and we will find the body will be brought to a near NORMAL - and give for self and to many others much more satisfactory reactions in the system. We are through for the present.
