Born December 16th or 24th, 1896 or 1897, or near that date, on Market Street, in Sandusky, Ohio. Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N. Mex.
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '38 - changes in mental attitudes - '36 - '19 - a change again, physical and mental - '17 - " etc., on back to birth date. Then: "The body was born near to twelve o'clock midnight on December 23rd, 1896.")
3. We have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2519].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, much may be interpreted from the records. These interpretations we would choose with the desire, hope and purpose that they may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better understand latent and manifested urges and to better fulfillthe purpose for which it chose to enter this particular experience.
5. This entity chose its entrance into the earth plane at this period, yet circumstances so altered same as to have caused confusion at times even to the entity. And great questionings have arisen as to its purpose, its intents. Yet these have been applied in such a manner that there has been continued growth through this present sojourn.
6. That thou hast chosen as thy ideal is well. Hold fast to thy beliefs. Do not become impatient. Be not weary in well doing, even though progress may appear to be slow; but make haste slowly.
7. In interpreting the records here, we find the life seal
2519-8 Page 2
very unusual, in that many would not comprehend, unless they were closely associated with the entity. Yet much of this, with self-analysis, may help the entity in its search and in its determination to acquire and to apply those influences in its experience with others that are continuously creative.
8. This as we find is the seal - as will be indicated by the material appearances or sojourns in the earth:
9. A circle we would draw, upon a field of opalescent blue. In the center we would draw a straight line all the way across - again in the center straight up and down.
10. In the lefthand field we would put the Cross without the Master on same, but being beheld by those who had seen His suffering there - three women, with two, four, five soldiers, and part of a horse in the background. The soldiers would be with the Roman toga; the women not in black but purple dress, with white close to the face and under the edge of the purple as would come over the head.
11. Facing same on the righthand upper corner we would put those experiences had in the Egyptian land; as one of those purified from the altars of the Temple of Sacrifice, and yet dedicated from the offices of the Temple Beautiful. Thus there would be two faces, each of these as a part of the other, yet separated - not making a corner but vignetted in, as it were.
12. The entity of royal dress and personage would be leaving the Temple of Sacrifice and entering or receiving homage from those in affairs - or the seven graces or stations - in the Temple Beautiful. She would be beautiful of face and of figure, perfect in proportions and joyous of face; as to give the beauty of service, the beauty of love and duty.
13. On the lower righthand there would be the sheaf of grain, set about by many smaller sheaves or stacks or ricks; and these with a tiny face in each bunch or bale - not as hidden, but as that giving life and strength to the larger bale. The background here, too, would be blue-green, rather than the nature of the opalescent blue. Here, too, would be the effect of the sun upon the background in the distance.
14. In the left lower corner of the circle would be a home, disturbed by one leaving same. This is the sad portion of the entity's experience in its material sojourns. The figure and face in the doorway would indicate not hate, but disappointment; with dejection and hate in the face of that figure leaving or going down the path or road towards a lowering atmospheric condition, with only the faint light of hope as from a great distance.
15. These indications may be seen from the material
2519-8 Page 3
sojourns.
16. There are urges from both astrological and material sojourns, yet know that no urge - arising latently or manifestedly - or arising from the emotions of the physical nature or from the latent visions or dreams - ever exceeds the will of the individual entity.
17. For, the will is the gift of the Creative Forces, or God, that makes each soul an individual entity, capable of knowing itself to be itself yet one with or separate from the purposes of the Creative Forces, or God.
18. Astrologically we find Venus afflicted with Mercury and Saturn, yet not wholly so - as will be indicated; also with Mars and Uranus.
19. These indicated the love of the beautiful, as indicated in Venus; afflicted at times with judgements by self of others, or of others respecting self and of self respecting others.
20. Also in Saturn we find the apparent change in circumstances, yet the love of home, the love of peace, the love of harmony.
21. The abilities to build a home are existent, and the requirements for the making of same a part of the entity's experience and the entity's manifestations.
22. We find in Uranus the extremes, as may be indicated in Mars where madness, wars, strifes and general turmoils have altered the circumstances of the individual in this experience; thus causing the entity to use its own judgements - or will - to magnify or to minimize the faults, not only in self but in others.
23. But, as indicated, thou hast chosen well in thy present experience as to thy ideal. This is well. Keep close to the purposes thou hast promised in self, as well as to thy Maker.
24. As to the appearances in the earth - we find that not all may be given here, but those as indicated from portions of the seal - the spheres of the entity's activity through the earthly sojourns that are both good and bad.
25. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present nativity, in that region near where the entity experienced its entrance into the present sojourn.
26. It was during that period when there had been the dejection to many because of those turmoils which arose in the area about Dearborn; when there were many questionings.
27. The entity was among those of the Dearborn activity closely associated with the great public meeting place; that brought materially much of destruction as well as creative influences in the experiences of individuals who visited
2519-8 Page 4
there.
28. With the overflow, or the destruction, the entity was among those who journeyed to that portion of the land south of the Erie country.
29. There the entity became one with high activities in material values, owing to the companionships. But too oft the entity passed judgements upon others; eventually bringing sorrow into the entity's experience.
30. Through that sojourn the entity lost and gained, lost and then gained much; determining to right itself in that experience.
31. Hence that portion of the seal showing the home, the lowering of nature itself, the sorrow that may be depicted - that was a part of the experience, as well as that hope in the distance.
32. The name then was Ida May Irwin.
33. Before that the entity was in the Promised land, when there were those activities which brought about the hope to the world; during those periods when the Master walked in the earth.
34. In the early portion of that experience the entity rejected those counsels for rather the activity of the old Mosaic expressions. Yet later, with the experiences about that home wherein there were the expressions of His ability to roll back death, even to defy same and to give to others a greater hope, the entity was that one who eventually aided Martha in the preparation of the feast of thanksgiving to those peoples from Jerusalem, as well as Bethany, when the supper was given to Lazarus.
35. The entity, then, knew of the expressions of both the believers and those who questioned, and those who followed close with the interpretation of such experiences in the lives of individuals.
36. The entity was among those who on that first Lord's day went to view the place of the skull, who saw and heard the expressions from that individual who had first beheld the risen Lord.
37. Hence the royalty of knowledge, of faith, of hope, of patience. That is the lesson the entity has learned. That is the lesson it must manifest - that of tolerance, which is close akin to patience, with others.
38. In that experience the entity gained in the greater part. Honest doubt is not a sin. Honest conviction brings working activity, but not that of intolerance.
39. The name then was Juana.
40. Before that the entity was in the Syrian or Moab land, to which the children of Judah had gone when they sought
2519-8 Page 5
relief from the famine of the land.
41. The entity there became acquainted with Naomi and Ruth; being then a sister of Ruth; only learning of the needs and that to which one should attain, to bring hope, help and happiness which comes from conviction of living freedom of experience for purposeful, helpful activities in those with whom the entity was associated, after there were the associations that brought about the conviction of Ruth.
42. The entity then became a helper in the household of Ruth and her husband; being then, as might be said, the upper or first maid to the offspring of the sister; seeing then the fields that were harvested not only for the material sustenance of the family but for those also not so fortunate as to be the owners of the land.
43. Hence the fruitfulness of brotherly love, kindness, and those things that have been a part of the entity's experience.
44. Then the entity was known as Opaheln; not closely related, but related to that other sister, or sister-in-law, who rejected those truths of which Ruth was convinced and turned again to the husks of self-gratification.
45. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, among the daughters of one of the minor priests - or the second priest in authority with Ra-Ta when there were the establishings of the Temple of Sacrifice and the Temple Beautiful.
46. The entity was among the Atlanteans who made for the purifying of body for the wondrous work of self-sacrifice, that others might find a channel of expression; that their souls, too, might know the beauty of their Lord.
47. Then, the entity was among the first of that period to recognize the holiness of motherhood.
48. The entity was known as It-She-Mer.
49. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, - that may be manifested, or nourished, or analyzed from the expressions of the entity in the earth as indicated from the very seal itself of the entity:
50. Put away judgement. Put on faith. Carry on in home-building, in body-building, in the helpfulness of expressions to others.
51. Thus we may find that glory which comes in the knowledge of a life spent in service. For he that is the greatest among you will be the servant of all.
52. Be not weary, then, in well doing. Thou hast chosen well. Look to Him. Fulfill those things He would have thee do day by day. Let each soul be glad, each day, that it has the privilege of knowing thee. But this comes in making
2519-8 Page 6
each soul think better, do better, of and for self, from having known thee - by thy being a helpful force to others.
53. Ready for questions.
54. (Q) When, where and how have I been previously associated with my husband, [1180]? (A) In the experience just before this, he was the one who was banished from thy home. In Egypt he was the companion or husband.
55. (Q) Is there anyone else in this present life with whom I was previously closely associated? (A) Many that ye have known and still may know. Most of these may be gathered by comparison of their indwellings in the earth.
56. (Q) What country and place is most suited for me, in which I would be most happy? (A) Where there are the wide, open places, occasionally; and where there are the opportunities for self-expression. These ye build, rather than choose; by thy choice of thy helpfulness to others.
57. (Q) What kind of work would I fit in best and be most successful? (A) That as of home building, home preparations; and instructions or counsel to the young and of the teen age of thine own sex.
58. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Keep the faith in the Cross and in its purpose in man's experience.
