1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2523].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records - this record might be used as an illustration of some of the manners that interpretations through this channel have been made respecting astrological influences in the experience of an entity.
4. The influences from astrological sojourns have meant little, so far as the mental application is concerned; yet they have been innate and manifested - not because of the position of the planets at birth, but because of the sojourn of the entity in those environs.
5. Then, in giving the interpretations, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to fulfillin greater measures those purposes for which it entered this present sojourn.
6. As to the innate and manifested urges we find these as significant in the determining factors for choice by the entity through this experience:
7. One of very high mental ability; very strong-willed, dominating or domineering to some; and a dominating figure among whatever group with which it may be associated.
8. There are the abilities as a lecturer, an orator, a speaker, a writer. All of these become dominant figures or
2523-1 Page 2
phases of the entity's experience.
9. The determination of having the own way is well at times; but others' propensities, weaknesses, faults, virtues and vices must also be taken into consideration.
10. Thus it becomes the entity to apply, in its relationships and dealings with others, that truth which He has given - "As ye would that others should do to thee, do ye even so to them."
11. This should not be considered merely as an axiom, as a truth, but as a living thing in the entity's application of its abilities, its virtues, in its dealings with others.
12. As thou hast been a proclaimer of freedom of speech, or worship, of activity, such should be included and granted in thy dealings or associations with others. This does not mean that you should "give ground" as to that you have purposed. But is thy purpose in keeping with those tenets He gave - not in power and might alone but a living, growing, creative influence in the associations and dealings with others?
13. The stage and dramatic arts have always been, and will be, a part of the entity experience - as we shall see from the periods of sojourn. For, these make for the dominant characteristics or urges, as well as the latent abilities.
14. Then, magnify the virtues in self - as ye would have others do in their relationship to thee; minimizing the faults as ye would have others do to thee. Know that as ye forgive ye may expect forgiveness.
15. The entity is rather cold of nature, lacking in what might be termed deep affection or sentiment; but where thy word or thy love is given, ye go the whole way for same! This is well, tempered with patience, longsuffering and brotherly kindness. For, these are the fruits of the spirit - these are the activities that BEAR fruit in thy mental and material experience. For, the movement is of the spirit - the purpose may give it power. The fruits or results are according to how ye cultivated them in thy mental and physical relationships to others.
16. In astrological aspects the greater urges have been Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. These are not always a complement one to another. For, there have been those afflictions, as well as those crowning experiences of each that have made the experience a joy and the living worth while.
17. Know that He, thy Father-God, is not a respecter of persons. Whosoever doeth the will of the Father, the same is called of Him into service to the fellow man. For, inasmuch as ye
2523-1 Page 3
do it in thy daily conversation, thy daily proclamation, thy daily thought and activity to the least of His children, ye do it unto Him.
18. Jupiter brings the association with groups, social prestige and power, as well as might - from the angle of the practical usages of material things, and the keeping of self in that realm of a universal consciousness.
19. Thus in Mercury we find the high mental forces, and in Venus the beauty of love - not as duty, yea love as a duty; love as begetteth the beauties of companionship, friendship, and those things that bespeak of activities not bought nor measured by material standards.
20. As to the appearances in the earth - we find that these have been far afield, yet under such powers and might in which changes of thought in the activities of groups and nations of people have been manifested.
21. Thus the abilities of the entity in those fields of lecturing, writing - where there would be depicted the activities under the stress and change of an historical fact, figure or period, and the effect to be had from same upon future generations.
22. For, the hope is ever in youth - when considering the material things; yet there must be the foundation in the spirit, that the purpose may be in those directions, that the training of the mind may give the growth not only into power but in judgement and wisdom as to the use of same to the glory of God, rather than the gratifying of fame or fortune in the material sense alone.
23. Before that the entity was in the Promised Land, during those periods when there had been the preparations made for the coming of the forerunner as well as the Lord, the Master.
24. The entity was among the Roman peoples - a companion to one in authority, who became acquainted with those who were so zealous as to the promises which had been made by Him in His service and ministry in the earth.
25. Then the entity was close to those in authority through a military rule, especially about Jerusalem. Though the entity found a great deal of excitement, it also found a great deal of hope.
26. Thus we find in the present, latent and manifested, a streak of religious fervor that at times almost becomes a ruling force in the experience - until some call the entity fanatical upon some subjects, or some phases pertaining to religious beliefs.
27. The freedom of thought has kept the entity well balanced in its judgements. For, He IS Lord of all. And remember,
2523-1 Page 4
there was nothing made that was made - materially, mentally or spiritually - of which man in flesh may know - that was not made or experienced by Him. This ye have gained from that experience.
28. The entity then was the companion of one of the Roman guards, or the Romans in authority under the procurator.
29. Then in the name Armelia, the entity gained.
30. The entity's interest in politics, the entity's abilities as a leader and a great deal of these influences arise from the applications of self in that sojourn.
31. Before that the entity was in the Persian or Babylonian land, when there had arisen the desires upon the part of Cyrus that there be given the opportunity for the varied groups over which he had become the power and might, to manifest in their OWN ways and manners; that it might be to the good of all.
32. The entity then was the queen - Amasmam. In the experience the entity gained greatly by its aid and help to those who were allowed, under the edicts as directed by the king, to return to the Promised Land and there to rebuild the worship which to them had become - then - merely a thing of which they had heard.
33. Thus the entity was in close association with Zerubabbel and those of his household - Nehemiah, who was a favorite of the entity during his service at the court, and who has been a part of the experiences of this entity in associations through activities in the earth more than in that experience alone.
34. The entity bought a helpful influence toward the educating of those who were to interpret the law, and to make same accessible.
35. Thus we find the abilities of the entity in the study of various groups, cults or isms, denominations, political and economic forces as may relate to groups or to states or to nations. And the entity's counsel in such is not to be passed over lightly.
36. In this experience, then, through its abilities as a speaker, a lecturer, a writer upon such subjects, the entity may bring that measure of service in which there may be AGAIN much given to others in their search for God - even as this was the motive prompting the entity's interest in those activities through that particular sojourn.
37. Yet also from that sojourn there is the urge for pomp, for having the own way, for being in authority, and those influences that make for the feelings at times of superiority in so many little material things that are to be curbed in the entity's present experience.
2523-1 Page 5
38. Thus there has been brought many a trial to the physical influences or activities, through the stubbornness - rather has it been self-will, and not intentionally has the entity been dictatorial or stubborn.
39. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, among the Atlanteans who came in with those peoples in authority. For, there the entity was one who PERSONALLY cared for the records that were brought by the leaders of that people for preservation in that portion of man's experience in the earth.
40. The entity differed with those of its own people, and was hard to convince of the needs for another individual - as the Priest - to coordinate or to bring about peace and harmony with the various factions. Thus differences arose in that period of the entity's experience. Yet after there had been the coordinating through the services rendered in the Temple of Sacrifice, and in the education and in the preparation of the mental forces in the Temple Beautiful, the entity gave much of its abilities - mentally as well as materially - through the latter portion of that sojourn.
41. Then the name was Asc-Nath-Ess.
42. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, - that to which it may attain, and how:
43. First, analyze self. For, the study of self is the whole study of man and his problems. For, ye are a portion of same. The study of self and the emotions, mental and physical, is a study of the spiritual forces manifested through the body in which there is material service.
44. Study, then, to show thyself approved unto thy ideal that ye choose, and - as ye have oft before chosen so thoroughly - let that ideal be the LIVING force, the living God; not an individual, not other than that ye may know thyself to be thyself, separate and yet one with that Creative Force, even the Father.
45. The fields of activity would lie in passing judgement upon the economic, social, philosophical and ecclesiastical forces in man's relationship to man - as the history of same - which ye have aided in preserving for man. Preserve same now - that he may know to walk the closer with the living God.
46. Keep the faith.
