1. HLC: You will have before you the entity [2524], born February 22, 1900 in Freudenstadt, Germany, who received a Life Reading through this channel on July 2, 1941. By paralleling the information given for his brother [2564] on July 10, 1941, it seems apparent that these entities were associated in the early American period as Hal Gradenstorff and Otto Hermeker and in an earlier period in Egypt at the time of the priest Ra-Ta (approximately 10,500 B.C.). It also seems possible that they may have met in a Roman incarnation. [2524] seeks at this time a full explanation of his past relationships with this brother which have a bearing on his present relationship and desires guidance in working out this relationship in the present for the best mental and spiritual development of all concerned. You will give a full description of these past relationships, the urges from them in the present, and guidance for the thought and action now. You will answer questions that may be asked:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity [2524]; also the information indicated in the experience of [2564].
3. In interpreting the activity of each in the experience before this - we find that each was in those activities as related to a purpose, an ideal; not only as of an individual nature but national in its scope.
4. In the one (now known as [2524]) - we find there were those activities as for freedom, as for that as would bring about better relationships, allowing for each individual to manifest his relationships as to the worship of God, as to the relationships one to another as free men; with a single purpose, but with the ability to work collectively in an idea.
5. The other (now known as [2564]) was rather in the reverse position, manifesting such activities as to bring the bodily afflictions such as to intimidate, as to cause fear. These
2524-4 Page 2
were of such a nature as to bring in the present experience of self the conditions that are antagonistic to the normal physical abilities.
6. These different attitudes that arise are as the basis of the disturbances that are the experience of each in the present.
7. Then, the advice for [2524]:
8. Hold fast to that ideal. And in thy dealings with thy brother, meet rather that as would be if conditions were reversed; being patient, being understanding; not as preachments but rather as following of precepts and living the ideal that is manifest in the word of the entity.
9. And let thy prayer ever be, in this direction:
10. FATHER, GOD! SPEAK THOU TO ME IN WORD THAT I MAY UNDERSTAND. BUT LET ME, O GOD, SPEAK EVER TO MY BROTHER IN DEEDS, RATHER THAN WORDS.
11. These (words), in the state of each, only cause disputations. Yet these conditions may be met, if there is the manifesting of patience and brotherly love.
12. As also indicated in the paralleling of the activities of each, we find in those material sojourns in the Roman and the Palestine experience there were orders from one [2564] to the other [2524]. These (the orders) were not always in keeping with the idea or ideal of the other. Yet, because of those in greater authority, these were kept WORKABLE experiences; though rarely were there the close or personal associations one with another in the experience.
13. Again a lesson may be taken from same in the present, - as conditions may be said to be in reverse, as to the one in authority. Then, as ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so in all circumstances that arise in thy personal as well as in thy brotherly relationships one to another.
14. Also in the Egyptian land we find there were the activities in which each had an ideal as presented by those who were in political as well as spiritual authority. And these may be the manners in which they each may meet same in the present, if they will but take thought. While taking thought alone will not change the nature, we find that letting the guiding force be that ideal, that spiritual import represented in that counsel, that commandment of Him who IS the ideal, there may be brought to each of thee a closer union in thy undertakings daily. Thus those things that do appear as hindrances, the very nature of same may be turned into such ways and manners that each may be a helpful force to the other.
15. The ideal manner is that each take thought, knowing the
2524-4 Page 3
ideal that has been the expression for each. But let those activities and purposes of each who seeks the way be ever as those of his of old - others may do as they say, but as for me, I will literally, I will mentally and spiritually, serve a living God; manifesting same in the manner in which I treat my fellow man.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What was the nature of the personal relationship in the early American period? (A) They were then at odds one with the other - not a personal relationship, as given. This was rather that of one serving an ideal of fear, the other an ideal of peace.
18. (Q) What was the nature of the work of each in the Egyptian period? (A) As indicated - one was in the closer relationships with the King and the Priest; the other was in organizing the activities of individuals who had been given authority - or who had been given the direction for their chosen vocational activity.
