Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will have before you the entity, [2524] in his apartment at the ..., New York City, who seeks information, advice and guidance that will enable him to better understand all phases of his life and his associations, so that he may make more practical application of the information which has been given him through this channel. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: - He has the information - he'd better commence to make application, rather than be sorry!

3. (It's best to keep quiet than even to try to read.)

4. We have the enquiring mind, [2524].

5. As has oft been indicated for this entity in information concerning what it has done with its abilities and in regard to the conditions existent in the body at present.

6. There must first be peace within self before there can be found even congeniality with its associates. Few there be, to be sure, who can continue to put on a front or attempt to present a personality that is so at variance to the individuality as to be just "putting on" all that while. You fool no one but yourself and make yourself miserable. For what you are, by your relationships to others, speaks much louder than what you say to individuals.

7. Then the beginning - for the physical help as well as for the interpretations of self - is to begin with thy ideals. Set it down in black and white. Take yourself in hand and draw a picture. You're a pretty good engineer to draw pictures of other things. Did you ever try a picture of yourself? How far do you span from what you would be, or from what you would have others to think you are? How far does this stretch?

8. This should be begun, then, with the spirituality. What is thy ideal, spiritually? Who do you hope to see, where do you hope to go, when you leave here? remember, He that gave

the world compared man's life to a tree, in that where it falls that is where it stands. The life goes on, only the body remains. It returns to that which it has builded itself. Just as the rich man and Lazarus. Because of his patience, fortitude and brotherly live, Lazarus went to the bosom of faith, or in faith. Yet it was not apart from torment, though divided so very distinctly as to make a barrier that could never be crossed - in that realm of consciousness.

9. What is thy ideal mentally? Know that in the material plane, mind is the builder. Are thy ideals and thy conversations with thy associates consistent? They should be. For as the Master gave, "Consistency, thou art a jewel."

10. These, then, are the beginnings in the finding of self. And in the finding of self you will come closer to accomplishing that which may bring material as well as mental satisfaction in thy activities in the earth.

11. Do that, then, and you will come to know thyself better, and thy relationships with others will be more satisfactory, and there will no longer be the discontent within self or with self. For if ye will have people interested in thee, interest thyself in people - and not by force. Ye like associations, ye like such activities. Why not practice it in thy life?

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) Regarding health: What is the state of my health and what measures should I take to improve it? (A) Take a good deal of the suggestions that have been given. Clear the body as you do the mind of those things that have been hindered. The things that hinder physically are the poor eliminations. Set up better eliminations in the body. This is why osteopathy and hydrotherapy come nearer to being the basis of all needed treatments for physical disabilities.

14. (Q) What should I do for the lump that forms at base of right ear each morning? (A) Take the hydrotherapy treatments down at Reilly's and you'll get rid of all of it! Change your mind and it won't come back! Keep on thinking and worrying - it'll come back double.

15. (Q) Are teeth in good order? (A) These are very good - they need some local attention. Use Ipsab occasionally with the dentifrice used - you'll find it will be most helpful to the gums and in relieving those tensions in the throat. Massage this on the gums with the finger.

16. (Q) Regarding work: What should I do to overcome a sense of confusion and unrest? (A) Just as indicated. The confusion is within self, because of the presenting of one thing that you know and another that you would like for other people to think you know.

17. (Q) Should I continue to work with the company I am now associated with or should I set up my own separate organiza- tion? If so, please advise. (A) Stay through this particular period of anxiety in those activities in this land. After another year ye may change for yourself. You'll be big enough then for it. You may have found yourself, if you set yourself to do it. For remember, as He has given, "I stand at the door and knock. If you open I'll come in." And He doesn't come in to be a drudge, He comes in to help. He doesn't come in to be kept, He comes in to work with you, and to depart when you fail to do so.

18. (Q) Regarding home: Would [L...] and I be suitable life companions? (A) That you had best develop in your own self. Are thy ideals one? Can they conform? Are ye a complement one to another, or will one lean upon the other, and the other draw upon the other? Determine these in thine own self. Yes, ye have been associated together before. Read of thy activities in other lands and you'll see her standing at the door.

19. (Q) In planning ahead, should I remain in my present home or would a change sometime this year be desirable? (A) If there is to be a change, it should come in the month of October or November. We don't see a change very soon, or not best for a change very soon.

20. (Q) Regarding my brother [2564] (who passed from the earth life about eighteen months ago), is it indicated that he is happy? (A) As was his purpose, so is the activity. As indicated through the experience given thee in His word, pray for and with him if ye would help.
