R E A D I N G
Born May 29, 1885, in Norfolk, Va. Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:25 A. M. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over the years from the present - " - '40 - yes - changes - '30 - changes and anxieties - '29 - " etc. on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here now known as or called [2528].
4. In giving an interpretation of records as we find them, there is much from which to choose, much that should be stimuli as to the using of the abilities in the direction for awakening the consciousness of self, as well as others, to the spiritual imports that are made aware in the earth.
5. As we choose from these, it is with the desire and purpose that this information be a helpful experience; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this sojourn.
6. For, one enters not by chance but by the grace of the Creative Forces, when there are those choosings that there may be the fulfilling of the purpose for which Creative energies came into being, to the glory of the Father.
7. Astrologically, we would not find these influences to be true to the astrological aspects according to ordinary terms; though, as indicated in those under this special sign, the entity is one that finds self often confused as to the premise from which its choice will be made. These are

the natural consequences of confusion in the earthly sojourn, as may be seen, that find expression in the present.
8. This may be overcome by the entity's choosing its definite purpose, its definite ideal, and thus may it follow that cause and effect will be the true result; provided the balance is set in that which is the Creative Influence.
9. We find Venus, Jupiter, Saturn all becoming a part of the experience, but only in a relative way or manner.
10. Thus we find in Venus the abilities in certain directions; making for a whole-souled, genial individual, and at other periods crabbed so that others look in awe at the entity. This is because of the confusions in the entity's self.
11. In Jupiter we find the universal consciousness. Hence we find little of what might be called the orthodox views as acceptable or active in the entity's experiences. Yet there is the continual questioning in self as to whether those who have set such tenets were wholly in accord with the purposes of the divine.
12. Know as has been indicated all is relative one to another, and there is perfection in the law of the Lord, as should be indicated to the entity in its abilities as a technician; especially pertaining to details in numbers, lines, anything having to do with mechanical appellations, in its activities in relationship to others.
13. Hence those activities especially inter-related with weights or numbers should be of particular interest to the entity. Weighing machines and the like, measuring devices and the like - these should prove, as will be seen how and why of special interest to the entity.
14. In Saturn we find there have been many changes wrought in the experiences and associations; much apparently from influences outside of the entity's own control - as if they were of others' making altogether. Yet this is only relatively so, for what one is speaks so loud that others seldom hear what is said. What one is follows one, is back of one's consciousness, whether the entity itself becomes aware of it or not. Intimations of how such may be a part of the consciousness may be indicated in what an entity does about its acceptance of tenets, or truths through any definite experience.
15. Hence, as has been given again and again, definite laws, unchangeable laws as to such, may be indicated. These do not falter or fail, whether in spirit, in mind or in matter. What ye sow, ye reap. Apparently there are often experiences in which individuals reap that which they have

not sown, but this is only the short self vision of the entity or the one analyzing or studying purposes and ideals in relationship to those particular individuals.
16. As to the appearances in the earth - all may not be given; yet these have had, do have to do with the present application of the entity to conditions about self, especially as to environs or associations and activities.
17. While changes often come, innately in self it is because - from lessons learned in Jupiter and in Venus - the entity does not desire to start something it does not finish - maybe not in the material but will finish it either in spiritual or mental, which are the relative activities to the completion of same in material environs.
18. Before this, then the entity was in the land of the present nativity, but among those that had been a part of the experience in the central or north central land, during those turmoils about what is now Chicago.
19. The entity then, through the offices and activities of groups of individuals had been sent there to contribute something to the welfare in the preparation of buildings, the preparation of those activities for trade experiences between groups of individuals and the natives of the land.
20. The entity, with many another, escaped from the land to portions of the land in which the entity finds itself active - or activated upon - in the present. For, the entity came into the present environ in which it took itself first measure of strength in this particular experience.
21. The activities then were twofold; not merely as an individual who made overtures to various groups but one who aided in the preparing of designs, in preparing for those to enable them to add to the physical status of conditions in the land.
22. The entity traded well with Indians, and was a representative of one Anthos Anthony; as one contributing to a building program (as would be termed today) of spiritual, mental, and material things.
23. With confusions, when these activities were broken up by the Indians in the land, the entity came to what is now Richmond, Norfolk, and the places on the east coast.
24. During those periods of suppression of the activities the entity was quiet. With removal of the abilities of groups to combat those of the environ, the entity became rather active in and about what is now Richmond.
25. Before that the entity was in the Roman land during the periods of the expansions in the foundations of that Empire.
26. For the entity then was an emissary to various lands; not as a tax gatherer, not even as an agent of the king or

others in authority, but rather working well with the fellow man, interpreting in the lives of individuals that lesson which had been given by the law giver of old; "Today now there is set before thee good and evil."
27. It doesn't seek thee, neither does it refrain from being overtaken by thee. This business of material success or of material confusion comes from the lack of application of the tenets pertaining to the fact that all is one.
28. In the activities there, the entity gained much, for it contributed to the abilities or activities of many of the natives in those portions of the land where the entity was the more active, also contributing to the welfare of many of those interests in that period.
29. The entity then in the name Telios, brought conviction to many, and to self at times confusion.
30. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during the periods of reconstruction when the high priest Ra-Ta had been returned to authority or power; when, after his recall, there were the preparations by many for definite activities through the land.
31. The entity was one who aided in constructing many of those halls of safety, or the preservation of bodies. These have not seemed as far off to the entity as they do to many. For, the entity aided in creating the purposeful usefulness of the tenets of that period in the daily activity.
32. Thus, many will accept much the entity may say. Many will be in that attitude, "well, I don't think much of it, but it might be," from the associations through that period.
33. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain and how:
34. As indicated those lines pertaining to drawing, engineering, or activities of that nature become a part of the entity's experience.
35. But study also to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed but rightly dividing, separating, choosing the words of truth. This, added to those things for the body forces, will bring the experience to the entity of a life complete, well lived, and eventually the entering into the joys of Him who has shown the way, the truth, the light.

37. (Q) Is the ... Navy Yard the best place for me to work, and if so in what section? If not, where should I be working and in what section, department, and on what (definitely and specifically) kind of work and how should I go about getting this position - or into this kind of work? (A) The ... Navy Yard for the immediate, to be sure, is

best. In that section of designs or new applications of tenets or truths that are being gained by the study made through correlations.
38. (Q) Should I continue the kind of work I am now doing? (A) Should continue the kind of work you are now doing.
39. (Q) It seems to me that I have been very close to death all of my life, more close in recent years, and have come to the belief that there is something specifically I am to do. If so, what is it, so that I may do it? (A) Contribute to the welfare of the many by the constituting of safety devices that are a part of thine own work and experience in the present. In life as in death, these are one. For, to be absent from the body, is to be present in the consciousness of God. And the fear or the closeness should indicate to the entity, by the awareness of same, the closeness to that influence in the experience of man.
40. (Q) How can I overcome the feeling of frustration? (A) Know in what you have believed and Who is the author. Then live by it, and live with it and you will find peace. For, the promise is, as from Him, "It must indeed be that offenses come, but woe unto him by whom they come." Be not disturbed, as He gives, because of frustrations. Know, "I have overcome the world, and if you abide in me, I bring peace." And peace is far from frustration.
41. (Q) In the designing - aeronautics - appliances - should I go ahead with this. (A) Where it is for safety devices, yes - you'll complete it!
