1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions that may be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2529].
3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the best physical functioning in this body.
4. These in their basis have been of long standing, and thus have grown to be rather of an insidious nature, affecting subtly varied portions of the organism - rather becoming constitutional.
5. Yet, with consistent and persistent reactions, we find that a great deal of help and much nearer to normal forces may be brought about in this body.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2529] we are speaking of, present in this room:
7. First, in the blood supply we find those indications of a long standing condition of an unbalanced influence in the chemical forces of the body; thus affecting the glandular system.
8. Hence now, and for some time back, there are those effects as a resultant reaction from this diffusion - an unbalanced chemical force in the lymph and the red blood supply, as to form a cogenital [congenital?] condition; or producing those forms of adhesions or lesions in various portions of the body from a catarrhal nature.
9. In those attempts to alleviate the disturbances, where conditions are produced through the assimilating and digestive area for distribution, it has been hard to stimulate those centers from which impulses are received through nerve force for blood supply and nutriment to organs in those portions of the system. This has been because of the adherence, or the activities in which tissue has become
2529-1 Page 2
adhered or has cohered in such a way as to form at times even the tendencies towards lymph pockets through the abdominal area, and the tendencies for the muscular forces to become either too relaxed in some areas or too taut in others.
10. This, then, as we find, is the basis or source of the disturbances through the body.
11. As to the effect produced upon the glandular forces and the activities through the organs themselves:
12. At times there are areas in the nerve forces themselves in which acute conditions may arise; and after a period the body may respond to applications for betterment and at other times the whole vitality itself of the system becomes weakened.
13. In the functionings of the organs themselves, and their reflexes from the activities through the system:
14. Brain forces are very good. The reflexes through the body are not at all times coordinant, owing to the deflections that have arisen in various portions of the soft tissue - some in the face, head and neck, others through portions of the digestive system and to the organs of the pelvis - where adhesions and those activities through same bring the distresses that have not as yet responded to applications made for bringing recuperation and alleviation of the disturbing forces.
15. At times in the throat, bronchi and larynx there are those tendencies for the formations of pockets that bring disturbance. With the system's being raised to a faster impulse, this may at times be alleviated - and yet leaves a form of scar tissue throughout those portions of the body.
16. In the heart's action, as related to liver and the hepatic circulation - or the heart, the liver, the kidneys, - we find that at times there have been the tendencies for throwing off inflammation, and the formations of a strep that has produced pus in portions of the system.
17. These have cleared, and then again they have brought about the reactions that form scar tissue; not as from operative forces, but that has produced a great deal of pain at times in the activities of the body.
18. We find in the digestive forces the most acute conditions. For, there is a form of nervous indigestion, - the lack of the body eliminating or expelling the foods from the digestive area. There are those activities at times such that food does not pass through the duodenum in its proper form. The lack of a balance in the chemical forces first brought about these tendencies and disturbances in the system. Also the hydrochloric and lactic acids are not
2529-1 Page 3
balanced or coordinated at times.
19. The activities of pancreas and spleen as related to this assimilation are very good, compared to the rest of the system - but this is because of the abilities of the mental body to control, and that ofttimes by others called the hardheadedness of the individual. Mind IS the master, yet physical conditions need the activity of those impulses through same that may regenerate or revivify the abilities for reproduction of self through the afflicted or disturbed areas of the body.
20. This is especially indicated as needed through the organs of the pelvis, as well as for the general disturbances in the body.
21. In making application, then, of those things that would be helpful or beneficial to the body - we find that first there must be done that which will purify the glandular system, and then those things done in order, in their place, putting the emphasis upon the influences necessary to be brought about in the system for bringing the best conditions for the body.
22. As there has been a lack of glandular secretions, and with the very nature of the disturbance causing all of the glands to become involved in the disturbance - we would first add iodine to the system in a manner to create through the thyroids as well as the glands of the digestive system, as well as the central nervous system, those activities which will bring a proper reaction - or a purifying. Then the addition of other forces may bring about bettered influences.
23. Begin, then, in this manner:
24. First, take internally small quantities of Atomidine (which is atomic iodine). Begin with one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal. Each day increase the dosage one minim until eight minims are taken.
25. Then leave off one day.
26. Then begin again with the one minim, increasing each day until eight minims are taken.
27. Then on THAT day, or the NEXT day, taken an Epsom Salts Bath. This would mean at least twenty pounds of Epsom Salts in thirty to forty gallons of water, and have this warm; not too hot, but the Salts thoroughly dissolved. The body will lie in this (with only the head exposed, you see), for at least thirty to forty minutes; during the period massaging the lower limbs, across the small of the back, and especially between the shoulders.
28. Immediately following the Bath, have a thorough rubdown with Pure Peanut Oil.
2529-1 Page 4
29. This will revivify the glandular forces and stimulate activity for the applications that should follow.
30. After that, begin having once each week the electric diathermy. This should be with a low vibration, but heating sufficient - and of sufficient length, or for about twenty minutes, so that there is a revivifying of those portions of the body which will have been purified and resuscitated by the active principles of the Atomidine taken.
31. Also, when the diathermy is begun, begin having twice a week the osteopathic adjustments with special reference to the lumbar axis, the 9th dorsal, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and through the vagus center to the base of the brain. These THEN will produce responses throughout the body. These would be kept periodically until the conditions clear.
32. After they have been taken for two to three weeks - the diathermy and the osteopathy - leave off. And then, should it become necessary, begin all over again - by purifying the system with the Atomidine, followed by the Epsom Salts Bath to set up drainages, and all of those things indicated, - that are tended to work together in the manner outlined, without producing irritation to any portion of the body.
33. In the matter of the diet throughout the periods - we would constantly add more and more of Vitamin B-1, in every form in which it may be taken; in the bread, the cereals, the types of vegetables that may be prepared for the body, the fruits, etc. Be sure that there is sufficient each day for the adding of the vital energies. These vitamins are not stored in the body as are A, D and G, but it is necessary to add these daily. All of those fruits and vegetables, then, that are yellow in color should be taken; oranges, lemons, grapefruit, yellow squash, yellow corn, yellow peaches - all of these and such as these; beets - but all of the vegetables cooked in their OWN juices, and the body eating the juices with same.
34. Let the body take Pure Beef Juice as a tonic day by day. During the day take at least a dessertspoonful, or two teaspoonsful. But take at least five to ten minutes to sip a teaspoonful, slowly. Let it assimilate in the body.
35. Do these, and we will bring for this body much nearer to normal forces.
36. Do it all, consistently, persistently.
37. In the mental attitude - keep that stubbornness (as some call it), in faith in thyself, in thy God. For, not of self, but through that measure as ye may mete to others, ye may serve, ye may glorify His name.
38. Let thy life and thy activities be not only good, but
2529-1 Page 5
good FOR something; not unto justification, but unto glorification of Him - who is the way, the truth and the light.
39. Ready for questions.
40. (Q) Is the condition malignant? (A) As indicated, it is rather of the nature from catarrhal forces, and is inherent - but not malignant.
41. (Q) May anything be done to clear up breast condition, and cysts on womb, without operation? (A) As indicated, first take the Atomidine for purifying the body; then the physiotherapy - or the electrical forces of the diathermy, that will bring about a revivifying of all channels of eliminations that have been so clogged by the tendencies existent. Then the osteopathic treatments following those activities, will bring better forces for this body.
42. (Q) What has caused the condition? (A) The lack of the proper combinations in the chemical forces or salts of the body; thus allowing the improper coagulation through the blood and lymph forces; causing adherences or sticking, or the accumulations that form more in the lymph - though if irritated they might become malignant. With the applications in the manner outlined, we will bring better conditions for this body.
