1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2536].
3. As we find, there are conditions which hinder in the better functioning of the body. These have to do, primarily, with an excess activity of the lymph as related to elimination and assimilation; produced by an unbalanced chemical force in the body-functioning of the GLANDULAR system.
4. These then, as apparent, cause rather a complication of disorders; and either of these might become out of hand, as changes are gradually coming about in the periods of activity of functionings of organs of the system - and especially in those areas through which there is the greater activity of the lymph circulation.
5. This tendency for accumulations in sacs or pockets, and the separations, may become of such a nature as to prove very detrimental to the body - if irritated, and if those conditions in the chemical forces are so altered; which has been indicated by the changes being wrought in the activities of the pelvic organs, the activities through the abdomen and through the greater lymph flow.
6. These as we find are the sources and the causes of the disturbances in this body, [2536].
7. In the blood supply there is a tendency for a greater quantity than normal to meet the changes wrought by this excess flow of the lymph towards the blood supplying.
8. Then, this forms about the organs too great quantities of obesity, that produce the smothering to the functioning itself of the organs.
9. Thus these become contributory causes to the activities
2536-1 Page 2
in the thyroids that have been in excess, which produced the strain upon the liver, that produced through the central circulation this tendency for the increase or the abnormalcy in the weight for the body - and those portions about the abdomen. Also those portions of the body structural forces that become excessive in their activity.
10. Unless there is brought about a nearer normal reaction in the assimilating and eliminating forces of the body, these disturbances may become rather excessive to the functioning of the central circulation - affecting the heart's activity, the liver, the kidneys. All of these become a part of the disturbance.
11. Thus the heavy complications, as we find.
12. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in the present:
13. There must be brought chemical changes, and the circulatory force - or vibratory rate of activity - should be brought in coordination with the better chemical forces from the glandular system.
14. First, then, prepare a compound in this manner, adding the ingredients in the order named: Rochelle Salts...........1 level tablespoonful, Sulphur..................1 level tablespoonful, Cream of Tartar..........1 level tablespoonful. Stir these together. This doesn't mean just a little stirring, either! Stir for at least thirty minutes, with a small spoon, in a crock where these can be MASHED together.
15. The dose of this would be half of a level teaspoonful, either dry or in water, taken each morning before any meal is taken.
16. Take this each day for a period of two weeks.
17. Then leave off for a week.
18. Then take again for two weeks.
19. With the beginning of the second series of the compound, begin also with osteopathic adjustments. Once a week should be sufficient, IF there is given a DEEP RELAXING, NOT A STIMULATING treatment; with special reference to the centers that go to the functioning of the organs of the abdomen and the pelvis - or from the vagus center (3rd and 4th cervical) AND the 9th dorsal to the end of the spine.
20. After there have been three or four of the osteopathic adjustments, begin then also (not before) with the Violet Ray, hand machine - but not the bulb applicator. Rather use the rod applicator that may be held in the hand, or the foot placed upon same. It would be better if it is taken one

time in the hand, the next time laying the rod anode upon a piece of glass and placing the bare foot on same. Use this for two minutes each day (when it is begun) for five days, leave off five days, and then take again for five days, and so on.
21. As to the diet throughout the period:
22. Keep away from sweets and from too much of starches. No fried foods.
23. Have plenty of Vitamin B and B-1, and A and G. These as we find may be had especially in vegetables and fruits that are of the yellow nature; as yellow corn, yellow peaches, yellow squash and the like - also beef. But the beef should be taken rather in the form of juice, never the meat itself.
24. Beware of too much meats or fats, for this body.
25. Four times each day - half an hour before each meal and at bedtime - take one and one-half ounces of Welch's Grape Juice in half an ounce of plain water, NOT carbonated water.
26. Do these, and we will find we will prevent these accumulations, and those tendencies for tumorous natures, or the organs filling with the lymph.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) Did this condition exist when I left the hospital a year and a half ago? (A) It existed some six to seven years ago, and consequently existed when you left the hospital - but it was submerged or latent then.
29. (Q) Is it advisable to have another operation, or can the hernia be eliminated without it? (A) This may be eliminated without it, provided there is the reduction of the body-forces. However, IF there should arise any of the PUFFING, better to have the operation.
30. (Q) If operation becomes necessary, what treatment would you advise to bring about complete healing? (A) Plenty of the vitamins that cause coagulation; and these we have advised for the body, to prevent these accumulations.
31. (Q) Will I be able to reduce to my normal weight? If so, what is the best way to do it? (A) That way as we have indicated, and NORMAL exercise.
32. (Q) Who would you suggest to give the osteopathic treatments? (A) An osteopath, by all means.
33. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file

[After the Reading, she was THRILLED - thought it was the most wonderful thing she ever saw, and is going to "follow through" on the instructions. Has 3 grown up boys, but a little girl just 7 yrs. old.] (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for Dr. Curtis Hudgins, Bankers Trust Bldg., when you are ready for these treatments. See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing pure beef juice.) ce.)
