Time of Reading 2:45 to 3:05 P. M. East. Daylight Savings Time. Chicago, Ill.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. Answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2579].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions. While in the present these are subtle in their nature, and produce complications, we find that there should be due consideration given in these present.

4. That which disturbs in one direction at times works a hardship in the attempt to create a balance in another.

5. For, from a condition in one lobe of the liver, there are those tendencies to cause a condition in the nerves of the body - as sclerosis; while there are others, as related to the activity of the gland forces, that cause an accumulation in the ends of tendons.

6. Thus, while there are not such exaggerated conditions in the present, we find that these do become acute in their natures at times.

7. The supply of activities then arises from the glandular disturbance, that produces the pressures in nerve tendons and in the muscular or tendon forces in structural portions of the body.

8. These may be purified by the activity of properties to clear the glandular forces, but unless there is due consideration given it would work a hardship upon the liver. Though the liver itself is a gland, the natures of these properties would tend to weaken some conditions in the body.

9. Hence all of these must be taken into consideration when making administrations for helpful forces for the body.

10. In the nerve forces as related to the blood supply, we find there is an unbalanced condition at times. At other times there is a very good reaction.

11. Then, in the functioning of the organs, these produce disturbances to the sensory system, at times; varying in their intensity.

12. At other times we find an upsetting to the activity of the extremities of the body. Then again we find a reaction to the whole of the digestive forces.

13. This is the nature, or the source of the complications, as indicated.

14. Then, in making administrations, this complication must be considered. While it would require time, we find that with consistence, with patience, and with the change of reaction at the correct periods, we may bring much bettered conditions for this body.

15. It will require persistence as to diet, as to activities in relationships to the general as well as to the whole of the condition.

16. First, then, we would begin with very small doses of Atomidine (which is atomic iodine); one minim in half a glass of water each morning before any meal is taken, for five days. Leave off five days. Then take again. Repeat this procedure for at least five to six to eight rounds, see? Then leave off; and begin with taking drops from these two solutions that will have been prepared in the meantime, in this manner:

17. Add one grain Chloride of Gold to one ounce of Distilled Water. This would be kept as one solution.

18. Add three grains Bromide of Soda to one ounce of Distilled Water. This would be kept as the other solution. These would be added only as the dose is to be taken, which would be preferably of evening.

19. Take one drop of the Gold Solution and two drops of the Bromide of Soda Solution in half a glass of water, each evening for three days. Leave off three days. Take again for three days. Repeat this procedure for at least some five or six rounds.

20. Then begin (not before) with the low electrical vibration from the short wave electrical forces - that is, the Diathermy.

21. At the same time and with these electrical treatments we would have a gentle massage, at least weekly, given by a hydrotherapist; not an osteopath, but a masseuse. Such massage should be given with a special combination of oils, in this manner:

22. To 1 ounce of Olive Oil, heated, add - in the order named: Tincture of Myrrh...............1 ounce, Peanut Oil......................2 ounce.

2579-1 Page 3

Use this especially on joints of the limbs and the neck, and across the diaphragm of the body.

23. As to the diet throughout the period:

24. Keep away from combinations of starches at any meal.

25. Fried foods should not be taken.

26. There are certain foods to which the body is allergic. This will necessitate that they not be used with ANY of those foods that grow above the ground, but only those that grow under the ground; that is: tomatoes would be served at the same meal with potatoes, while taking them with corn, peas or beans would be harmful.

27. Also have plenty of those foods - such as salsify or oyster plant, especially - that carry those characters of salts that tend to eliminate these hardening centers in the tendons of the body.

28. Do these and we should bring much nearer to normal conditions for this body.

29. Ready for questions.

30. (Q) Why has she put on so much weight within the last year? (A) This is from those conditions in the liver area.

31. (Q) Why has she not menstruated in 7 or 8 months? (A) This is due to the glandular disturbance, which is from a combination of these conditions as indicated.

32. (Q) What should be done to clear the skin? (A) The combination of things as we have indicated. First the Atomidine will tend to make for the coordinating of the channels of elimination. The skin condition is rather from the improper coordinating of the activities through the peristaltic movement, or absorption in the torso of the body. Thus it produces a condition wherein the irritations are produced from the poisons being eliminated through the perspiratory system rather than through the alimentary canal.

33. (Q) What should be done for eyes, to strengthen them? (A) As indicated, all of the sensory system will improve when there are the electrical treatments and the massages begun. There will not be a great deal of change indicated through the period of purifying the organic functionings of the body (that is, during the period of taking the properties internally), but with the electrical treatments AND the massage we will find there will be the strengthening of the body.

34. (Q) How should headaches be treated? (A) These are a part of the whole condition, you see. Do these things, but be persistent and consistent.

2579-1 Page 4

With the changing of the diet we will find many conditions will be gradually improved; the headaches, the tendencies for increasing the avoirdupois, etc. But DO NOT GO BACK to the old diet until until the body is entirely normal again, for this condition in liver - as well as glandular force - may become very, very severe, unless the care is taken in the present. Do that, then, as indicated.
