1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2591].
3. As we find, while there are disturbances in the physical forces of the body, these in the present are rather inclinations and tendencies. There are times when these assume such proportions as to become acute, yet these in their incipiency are rather in the present inclinations; and with the causes removed and the effects thus far manifested overcome, there may be brought about much nearer to normal conditions.
4. Those applications that have been made at times have been at variance, at times, to the better influences of the body.
5. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2591] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. The blood supplies indicate that there is a form of toxemia as well as of anemia. These in themselves form the basis of those tendencies that cause the upsetting conditions at times in the circulation as related to the superficial activity, again the pressures as indicated through the organs of the pelvis; making for the irregular activity as related to the functioning portions of the glandular system, and the sources of the nerve pressures as related to the effect upon the sensory system and the nerves to the head, neck and chest.
7. For, at times this toxemia assumes such proportions in that circulation as to give a great deal of distress through those particular areas or portions of the lungs themselves.
8. Then, these are the disturbances - and the sources as we find arise from the conditions of an unbalanced chemical

reaction, as well as the cycle of activities in the bodily forces as related to its relationship in this material plane in the present.
9. In making administrations for the benefit, for the correction, and for the removal of these disturbances:
10. First we would begin with a series of the colonic irrigations. In four weeks take at least three; so that all of the sources of the toxic forces may be eliminated from the alimentary canal. Don't have these too close together, but DO remove the mucous that is indicated in the colon that causes - or is the effect of the toxic conditions in system. THEN the system will respond both to the compound and to the osteopathic adjustments, which we will indicate.
11. After the third colonic has been given (not before), begin with the osteopathic adjustments. Let the system adjust itself from the third colonic, you see; then wait three or four days, and begin with the osteopathic adjustments. The osteopathic corrective measures would be to stimulate the ganglia of the cerebrospinal system. These would be especially indicated in those areas where there are the multiple associations of the nerve ganglia with the cerebrospinal center and the sympathetic - or at that first in the upper cervical, in the area of the vagus center, and the whole of the vagus nerve system; especially the 4th and 5th dorsal, 9th dorsal, and the lumbar axis and through the sacral. We would have at least twelve of such adjustments made in the first series; then occasionally, as seen fit by the operator, to keep the proper coordination.
12. Prepare a compound to be begun after there has been given the first osteopathic adjustment (not before). This is to be given for a cleansing of the area through the liver, spleen, pancreas, and to have an effect on the activity of the kidneys and the organs of the pelvis. It would be compounded in this manner:
13. Add 1 tablespoonful Strained Honey to 2 ounces Distilled Water. Let come to a boil. Skim, and then to this as the carrier, add - in the order named: Grain Alcohol............................1 ounce, Fusion of Wild Ginseng (prepared by pouring 1 1/2 ounces boiling water over 1 dram Wild Ginseng and allowing to steep until cool)...1/2 ounce, Fusion of Wild Ginger (prepared in the same manner)..............1/4 ounce, Tincture of Valerian...................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb.......................1/4 ounce.

Shake the solution well before the dose is taken, which would be half a teaspoonful before the morning meal and when ready to retire at night.
14. Do these.
15. Then be consistent in the diet.
16. Take much of those foods that are of the leafy vegetable nature; three of these to one of the pod nature, or two of the tuberous nature to one of the pod - that is, beans or lentils or things of that nature being considered the pod vegetable, see.
17. At least once each week, for at least sixteen weeks, take a Jerusalem artichoke with the diet - one about the size of a hen egg; this prepared or cooked preferably in its own juices, as in Patapar Paper, and the juice mixed with the pulp when seasoned to taste and ready to be eaten.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Am I physically or emotionally weak, that causes me to "crack up" at times? (A) Rather, as just indicated, it is a combination of toxic and nerve pressures producing the effect. Hence in the applications there needs to be the stimulation to centers where the physical or cerebrospinal and the emotional or sympathetic are to be better coordinated.
20. (Q) Is there anything wrong with my female organs? (A) As indicated, these are sympathetically disturbed more than organically. With the corrections made through the lumbar and sacral areas, and the tonic as given, these should clear up.
21. (Q) Am I physically able to have another child? If so, when? (A) Let's correct the general physical disturbance before this would be attempted or thought about. Should be able, and should be corrected by six to ten months. Then consider such.
22. (Q) What osteopath would you recommend to give these treatments? (A) Any of those, preferably, that are in sympathy with the suggestions here made; especially those who have been indicated for such natures of treatments.
23. (Q) Do I have hay fever of sinus trouble? (A) Sympathetically; not in its true sense.
24. (Q) How long should this treatment be kept up? (A) As we have indicated in the suggestions.
25. We are through for the present. [See 2591-1, Par. R1.] Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
