Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2595]; this we have had in part before. [See extract from mother's Rdg. in 2595-1, Par. B1.]
3. As we find, conditions are not so good. There are those disturbances that are hindering in the assimilation. Thus the distribution of that assimilated is also hindered.
4. These have their effects in the digestive system as well as in the glandular forces of the body.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them in the present with this body, [2595] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. In the blood supply we find a deficiency in quantity and quality. This is indicated by a form of anemia that exists throughout the body.
7. We find in the nervous system that the nerves are becoming more and more involved, owing to those hindrances causing pressures and tensions on locomotory centers - as indicated in the activities of the body - and also as to the relationships of organs one to another, which is indicated in the manner the body responds to the reflexes as well as the activities of assimilation throughout the body.
8. The sources have come from a condition where cold and congestion has existed, as combined with the first premise of the cycle of functionings in the physical body; so that a catarrhal condition has been caused in the esophagus - or at the entrance of the stomach, AND a condition in the jejunum and colon.
9. This prevents the abilities of the body to retain or to
2595-1 Page 2
take quantities of food. Also it is reflexed in the manner in which there is such poor assimilation of that taken; causing conditions through the colon and portions of the jejunum, also being responsible for that inactivity of the glands above the kidneys - the adrenals, and as related to those that go through the whole length of the spine.
10. In these reactions, then, we find the disturbances to this body, [2595] we are speaking of:
11. Then, in making application of those things as would be helpful and make corrections, though changes in these may be needed - we would do these in the present:
12. Begin with small quantities of Atomidine to be taken in series; one drop in half a glass of water each morning before any meal is taken, for at least five days.
13. Then leave off for five days.
14. But during that five-day period give each morning with or at the morning meal, at least two ounces of Yellow Saffron Tea. Secure the American Saffron. Pour a pint of boiling water over a teaspoonful of the Saffron and let it stand and steep as ordinary tea, for at least twenty to thirty minutes. This may be taken either hot or cold, whichever is preferable, but prepare it in the manner indicated.
15. Also in the evening - with the evening meal, or at the time of the meal - we would take two ounces of a tea made from Mullein. This would be prepared by pouring a quart of water - boiling water - over a teaspoonful of the crumpled or dried Mullein, or over a dram of it if measured by weight or if it is the green Mullein. Do not let this boil, but let it ALMOST boil, see? Strain and take the amount required.
16. Both of these teas may be kept over until the next day, if kept in a cool place; but do not keep over two days - but make fresh, see?
17. Also during the five-day rest from the Atomidine, massage the body each evening - when ready to retire, over the spine and the limbs with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh (heating the Oil to add the Myrrh), and over the abdominal area and across the stomach with Pure Peanut Oil - all the body will absorb.
18. After the five days, leave off the teas and massages, and begin with the Atomidine again - for five days.
19. Rotate these applications and properties in this manner for at least five rounds of each have been given; and then we will give further instructions.
20. But throughout the period we would be VERY mindful of the diet. This would be the character of diet to be
2595-1 Page 3
followed:
21. Mornings - take all the citrus fruit juices that the body may assimilate. These may be varied; one time there may be taken orange juice with lemon squeezed in it, another time there may be taken grapefruit (including the pulp itself when this is taken), another time pineapple juice, and even tomato juice may be taken at times. Then if it is possible let the body take rice flour cakes, or buckwheat cakes, that may be taken with Karo; and milk if desired. Occasionally have these with some bacon, very crisp. A little of these should be taken, but they may be altered or changed about.
22. Do not take cereals AND citrus fruit juice at the same meal. But take cereal once or twice a week instead of the citrus fruit juice; the re-enforced cereals, the flakes or the whole grain or the cooked cereals, according to the taste of the body.
23. Noons - take small quantities of raw vegetables and meat juices - as chicken broth, mutton broth; any of such broths, but be sure they have a cereal in same, see - such as barley or rice or the like.
24. Evenings - take cooked carrots, but cooked in their own juices (as in Patapar Paper), with a little of mashed potatoes, with a little broth. For this meal preferably have vegetables that are well cooked together, and the broth of the vegetables taken with same. If it is practical or possible, have the body eat fish two or three times a week. These are the foods to be stressed in the diet, you see, throughout this period.
25. Small quantities even of kraut juice would be well for the body, but this taken of evening, not of morning.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) What causes knot or soreness in groin, that produces limping? (A) This comes from the pressures upon the adrenals, as has been indicated; extending into the area, through the groin and even to the sciatic nerve. That's why the Olive Oil and Myrrh massages should be along the spine and the Peanut Oil should be over the abdomen and stomach.
28. (Q) How should the stubborn constipation be treated? (A) With the change of the diet and with the properties taken, we find that this will be materially aided. But be sure there is a full evacuation each day. Occasionally use the enemas. As a laxative, use those of the senna base - rather than minerals - for this body.
29. (Q) What causes and what should be done for lack of appetite? (A) As has been indicated. And do all of the things given,
2595-1 Page 4
and do change those things to suit the appetite. Keep away from too much sweets, but take all that is possible of the meat and vegetable juices, and fruit juices. Of course, fish - or any sea food the body desires will be well for the body; for he will not overeat of it. Do these, and after the five rounds of each, we will give further instructions.
30. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (Let us know when you have followed these directions through five rounds of each, so we may make an appointment for a Check Physical to give further instructions. There will be no charge for the Check-Up, since it will still be a part of this same treatment.) t.)
