Time of Reading Mission Hospital, 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Asheville, N.C. (Suggestion for physical and mental check reading, advice about plans for full recuperation - Questions.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body [2597] and those conditions as surround same. Many of these we have had before. Now, we find bettered conditions for the physical forces of the body, and for the present there needs be only care and attention as respecting same, being mindful that there are not given those things or conditions with the food values that would cause distresses or recurrences to set up in system. Then, following the ability of the body to store sufficient energy and recuperative forces to be up or about, we would advise - even as has been given - that at least three to four weeks be given to rest and recuperation for the body. Ready for questions.
2. (Q) What will relieve feeling of lump in throat? (A) That is the effect of the conditions as has produced the hindrance in the functioning of the glands, as regarding the distribution of forces in the system that as are assimilated. These come, as seen, from the ineffectiveness of assimilation. Hence, as we find, often in such condition an accumulation of various energies as go to make up different portions of the system. With this body's resuscitating forces, where were added more of the iodines in food and in application to the system through the vibratory forces in the Radio-Active Appliance carrying this in the system, taking of small quantities of same with iron and calcium [internally], we will find these conditions will be relieved.
3. (Q) Is the blood entirely free of bacilli? (A) The DROSSES of same are exhibited at present. Hence those warnings is to not give that which would cause recurrent conditions to come about, or where eliminations would be hindered as to cause the drosses to bring about more of the distresses for system.
4. (Q) What specific food should body eat, that he will want and be good for him?

(A) Dependent upon the various developments of the condition. Under the present, keep that as is being administered, see? When the changes come for the body, and when the body is under different circumstances, then we would be better able to meet those conditions existent than now to try to tell what would happen in times to come!
5. (Q) When should he leave Hospital? (A) When able to walk and get out in air!
6. (Q) Which is best for full recuperation of body, northeast United States or Virginia Beach? (A) Virginia Beach would be where they could set more of the applications as to meet the needs of conditions for the physical forces of the body, in radium as may be obtained in sand packs - which carry both the gold and the iodine and for the appliances that may be applied to the body that would aid in alleviating these conditions as seen in the thyroids.
7. (Q) How long should he stay [in Va. Beach]? (A) As has been given, three to four weeks.
8. (Q) Will the factory suffer in its management by this vacation for [2597]? (A) Suffer at the period. BENEFIT by the difference in the abilities of the body when recuperation is complete.
9. (Q) What steps should he take to keep his mind at rest while away [from work]? (A) Employ it in some other direction!
10. (Q) Is his son capable of running the factory properly? (A) Do very well. There has been much given as to abilities of this body. [See [165] series and [257] series using the son's name.]
11. (Q) Should an assistant superintendent be placed in factory while the body [2597] is away, or await his return? (A) And then cause that much more worry?
12. (Q) Should his wife, and daughter [4987] accompany him on his vacation at Virginia Beach? (A) Be well for them to come for part time.
13. (Q) Is there any other advice for this body? (A) Do these and then we can get some more!
14. (Q) Will his radio business be successful for balance of the year? (A) Get himself in shape, and then we will be able to tell him more about it! We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Cayce Hospital
