1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [2597], here. This we have had before. Now, we find much improvement in the physical forces of this body from that as we have had before. However, warnings should be made concerning the body's overtaxing itself, especially under stress or pressure, or closed quarters, on account of the heart's action and the inabilities, as yet, for the energy to be stored nominally.
2. In the treatment, these as are being accorded are very good, yet WE would change somewhat the character of that stimuli as is being used for heart's action. Digitalis is excellent, but becomes - with the age, and with the constitutional reactions as are apparent with this body - too much dependence put in its reaction, and were assimilations to fail - a heart BLOCK would necessarily result. Then, let's CHANGE this - so as to prevent the circulation becoming taxed by such conditions being able to arise, by changing the vibratory forces as would be set in same. We would use - not stopping the Digitalis, understand, all at once - but gradually changing these, we would use: Sulphate of Quinine...........30 grains, Muriated Iron.................20 grains, Rhubarb.......................10 grains. Make this (after thoroughly mixed) into 30 capsules or pellets. Take 1 of these pellets each evening.
3. We will find the rest will be better. We would also, each evening when the body ready to rest, massage the cerebrospinal system - from the base of the brain to the end of the spine - first with tepid water and rubbed down thoroughly afterward with COLD water - then massage into the spine equal parts olive oil and tincture of myrrh, heating the oil to add the myrrh - using only sufficient to make 1 application.

4. Also we would get the body into open air as much as possible. Chair or swings, or such - but do not allow crowds to gather in the room, especially of evenings. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) How long should body have to stay in bed? (A) Get up now if he wants to!
6. (Q) What will most quickly strengthen the heart muscle? (A) Just been given!
7. (Q) Will walking on level ground hinder his progress? (A) Don't walk yet - under two or three days.
8. (Q) When can he be taken down to the beach? (A) Monday or Tuesday.
9. (Q) Will it harm him to go into the water? (A) Not under ten days yet.
10. (Q) Shall he be given sand packs? (A) We will give when the sand packs are to be used! Too hard on the heart at present.
11. (Q) Does he require any special foods, and what food is most beneficial to him? (A) Those that have blood building, and especially carrying iron. No apples, but fruits of most other natures. No apples or bananas. Pears, peaches, plums, berries - especially gooseberries - may be taken. Those of meats - rather the juices then the fleshy portions. No watermelon. No canteloupe, as yet. Those of the blood building are the better.
12. (Q) Can the body take a bath as yet? (A) Best be given for two to three days yet.
13. (Q) Will any of the work suffer at Asheville? (A) We have [2597]. As far as HE is concerned, it suffers - to be sure! As far as the work is concerned, we don't find it so much.
14. (Q) Shall they retain the nurse? (A) After Friday or Saturday, no. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " Mr. [257]
