Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. As we find, conditions are such that they might become very serious; unless there is something done about those disturbances and the conditions that are gradually arising in the system.

4. We find that this has to do with the chemical unbalance in the system; irritations that have caused accumulations and segregations in the body, setting up disturbances within themselves.

5. And through this drain upon the system there are other combinations of conditions, or complications being caused, that upset the body.

6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [2609] we are speaking of:

7. The blood supply indicates excesses of toxic conditions, as well as conditions that might become in the nature of excessive in the bacilli carried through the blood stream.

8. In the nervous system we find that the drainages and stresses produce pressures upon the centers from which organs receive impulse for activity; thus upsetting the katabolism as well as the metabolism of the system, - nausea, a fullness in the stomach and the upper part of the jejunum. All of these, with tiredness, languidness, soon becoming exhausted with any particular activity physically or mentally, are effects or results of these disturbances.

9. In the functioning of the organs we find there has been a thickening of the walls of the duodenum. This naturally tends to produce, through the chemical forces of the body, lack of fluids as would be taken with the assimilation and digestion - or that would become active.

10. These have gradually caused a choking up of the activity, and the character of secretions from the liver, spleen and pancreas.

11. Then these become the greater sources of irritation, though - as indicated - the effect or the drain of this upon the whole system produces the other reflexes through the body.

12. These are the disturbances as we find in this body, Mrs. [2609] we are speaking of; at present.

13. In meeting the needs of the conditions as we find, these would be manners in which the greater and better effects may be brought about in the body:

14. First, we would have the low electrical vibrations as would carry in the system the varied characters of vibratory reactions from chemicals, for the alleviating, allaying and healing forces for the body. These would be carried through the Wet Cell Appliance, alternating or rotating the applications - one day the Nitrate of Silver (less than a ten percent solution - a fifteen percent solution; the next day the Chloride of Gold Solution (1 grain to each ounce of Distilled Water; the next day the Atomidine (commercial strength); and use at least four ounces of solution, see? Do not allow the connections to remain in the solution when not in use, with ANY of these; and there should be separate connections into the containers themselves for each of the three bottles, you see. The Appliance would be attached each day for thirty minutes, each day changing the attachments as follows:

15. When using the Nitrate of Silver - the copper plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal center; while the larger nickel plate - through which the solution passes vibratorially to the body - would be attached over the area of the lower portion of the stomach itself, almost directly above the navel center but - on this body - a full nine and one-half inches to the right in a direct line from the navel, see? Cleanse the connection passing through the solution, with a soft cloth, each time after it is used. Put in solution at least ten to fifteen minutes before it is attached to the body.

16. The next day, when attaching the Gold - the cooper plate would be attached to the 4th lumbar center, while the larger nickel plate, carrying the Gold Solution vibratorially, would be attached to the lacteal duct center - which is directly opposite the navel center, about four fingers to the right and one finger up, see?

17. On the third day, when using the Atomidine - the copper plate would be attached to the 2nd and 3rd dorsal center,

while the larger nickel plate would be attached to the lacteal duct center - the same as for the Gold.

18. Continuing alternating in these manners with the attachments.

19. Once each week have a general and a relaxing treatment osteopathically, for setting up eliminations.

20. Use Olive Oil as an eliminant for the body. Take this at least half a teaspoonful four to five times a day.

21. Massage the limbs as well as along the spine with Peanut Oil, each evening, or at least three evenings a week.

22. Have in the diet not much of meats, but more of raw and fresh vegetables. If meat is taken, let it be fish or fowl. No fried foods.

23. Eat more of the leafy vegetables than those of the pod or tuberous natures.

24. Do these and we may bring the bettered conditions for this body.

25. Provided the connections are kept out of same, each of the solutions for the Appliance need be changed only every thirty days.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Does this condition cause the tiredness, backaches, pains across lower part of stomach, and sleepiness? (A) These conditions are a result of these disturbances here indicated, and there is the need for stimulating the gall duct to activity. After the fifth or sixth osteopathic treatment, this should be a part of the treatments - to gradually drain the gall duct.

28. (Q) Why am I hungry all the time, yet unable to eat? (A) The lack of the supply of the proper amount of calcium and those influences in the body.

29. (Q) Why do I get sick at my stomach if I eat in the morning? (A) Because of the pressures produced by the thickening of the walls in the duodenum. Do these things indicated, as we find, if we would bring the better conditions for this body.

30. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for sister, Miss [1747] who can help you interpret the Reading if it is not clear) Copy to Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., who can prepare the Wet Cell Appliance for you according to specifications. Be sure to send this sheet, so he will know the specific directions in your case.
