1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity and that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '39 - what changes have come! - '27 - possibilities and activities - English - '25 - '24 - '18 - changes - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [2615].
4. In choosing the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these are chosen with the intent and purpose that this be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling it to fulfill those purposes for which the entity entered this present sojourn.
5. The activities in the various fields of service indicate the adaptability of the entity to its environs, its circumstance. Thus, as we find, oft the entity ALMOST has chosen those directions it would take. Then there has been either the completing or the end of that undertaking.
6. These do not indicate the inability of the entity's following through; rather the finding of thyself in those purposes, those intents as the hands find to do.
7. Then from the records here, as we find, there may be indicated for the entity the interpretations as to WHY much of this has been the experience, and as to what the entity may accomplish in that period of activity in the earth at this time.
2615-1 Page 2
8. That each soul enters for a definite purpose is apparent, when one analyzes self and realizes what is its ideal, AND what are the hopes and the characteristics of the self in relationship to its own philosophy of life.
9. That urges arise is also indicted as a truth. For, environ and preparation and application all have their part in the experience of an entity. Thus those channels through which these urges arise, as combined with the manner in which the applications of the virtues may be magnified and the faults minimized in the present, to enable an entity to fulfillthe purposes for which it entered this experience.
10. As to the sojourns in the earth - these become as environs, or applicable through the emotions of the body, or the manner in which the individual thinks or analyzes those conditions that become part of the experience in its dealings with things, conditions and people.
11. Then the interims between the earthly sojourns are as periods of assimilation, and - as accounted by certain elements or influences from their position, in the immediate universe - indicate the spiritual or the latent qualities, or the dreams of an entity.
12. These also have their place in the manner in which an entity responds to urges that become manifested in the experience from its sense emotion.
13. That to which an entity has attained, then, or that it has accomplished, becomes then as the body, the pattern with which the soul, the entity, presents itself to the sources of its being.
14. Thus we find THIS entity.
15. From the astrological sojourns we find in Mercury the high mental abilities of the entity; the abilities to direct, to "think through;" to find answers to problems, whether these be related to individuals, circumstance or things.
16. Thus we find that things, as well as individuals, will be a life service, or a channel through which there may be the application of self to conditions and circumstance that create environs FOR individuals. This will be the character, the kind of service in which the greater accomplishments may be attained in this particular period.
17. This is also indicated in the complementary association in Venus, which gives an appreciation of the beautiful. This as a static experience has passed, and appears now in manners, forms, in all activities of self or others, in which relationships to individuals AND to things become a living experience.
18. In Jupiter we find indicated the associations with
2615-1 Page 3
peoples, groups; yet, for the entity, individual in application. Hence the abilities as director of groups; not so much localized in instruction as in direction WITH instruction AND application by self, dealing with groups - individualized, but group cooperation in its activity. This would deal with lands, productions of same, peoples, their studies, their application as to that making up life's problems, and meeting them in association and cooperation with others.
19. We find in Uranus the extremist, which may be either good or bad in the experience; requiring that a thing, a condition, an outlet for expression be in a definite direction or manner.
20. These, then, are the sources of the spiritual import of the entity, as it approaches the application of such in this particular period of expression.
21. As to the appearances in the earth - not all may be indicated here, or now, but those that in the present affect the entity - as latent urges or as the manifested urges that have found expression in the present; then what the entity should do about such.
22. There are divine or universal laws, as there are nature's laws - as well as man's laws. For, one is the attempt to understand the other, or one is the searching for the other.
23. The universal or spiritual or God laws do not change. Man's laws and their application change according to circumstance, or manner of application through understanding.
24. Thus the applications of the entity in the earth have been as varied as, or more varied than they have been in the meeting of life's problems in the present experience.
25. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, but in quite a different environ.
26. For, then the entity - in conjunction with a close associate (who has been and is to be an associate in the present, when there are those definite undertakings that will lead to the greater service) - undertook the development of portions of the land, for its resources; not only as to the minerals but as to the rights of the land to produce that which is the source of physical man's supply.
27. Then the entity was in that portion of the land known as Louisiana - in the name Jean Lafitte [See 2615-1, Par. R2]. There was much of accomplishment in material ways, but because of the environs there was not accomplished the carrying through of that as desired by the entity. This was because of associations with others that were of a different
2615-1 Page 4
intent or purpose.
28. Yet it may be said that the entity gained throughout the experience. And the determination to learn more, to seek out sources of information - material AND spiritual - are the latent purposes of the entity from that experience.
29. Thus the desire in the present of searching for understanding; not only the ability to learn by the practice of others but to gather from ALL sources of information, and to tabulate such information in its own way and manner.
30. Hence the greater outlet for the entity's abilities in the present is in the use and in the applying of such information, in those activities that combine things, soil, conditions and people.
31. Before that the entity was in the Holy Land, during those periods following the Master's walk in the earth.
32. The entity knew of, was acquainted with those activities during that period; seeing the greater application, however, as a man, during part of the experience of the teaching or establishments of organized activity under the leadership of the various apostles.
33. The entity was acquainted with the activities of some of these; Andrew, Paul, Silas, and especially Barnabas. And while the activities were not as a teacher or minister, as termed in that period or today in some quarters, we find that the manners in which the entity encouraged those who accepted those tenets and made of them a part of their daily experience, were the work of the entity, in making same practical in many of the communities in which there were activities not only of persecution but of greater knowledge as to the purposes of that experience in the earth.
34. So in the present, there are the doubts - latent and manifested in the entity - of organized effort in spiritual things. Thus it may be said that the entity is very orthodox, and - as indicated in Uranus - very UNORTHODOX in the APPLICATIONS of the tenets of that which is the hope, ever was, ever will be, of the world and of man's being at peace with his fellow man.
35. Yet in that service, in that manner of service even as then, even as the entity attempted as Jean Lafitte, there may ever be in the experience of the entity the greater outlet for the abilities in the present.
36. Do not allow failures (so-called, by man) to deter thee. For, man's weakness is God's strength - if man puts the faults far behind and magnifies the virtues in his dealings with his fellow men. For, as ye do it unto the least of thy fellow man, ye do it unto thy God. This is an unchangeable law.
2615-1 Page 5
37. Let not thy heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe in Him, then, who is able to keep thee in the way he should go.
38. The name then was Paulos, known and acquainted with the activities having to do with the taxation by the Roman peoples. Thus these as of rules, as of taxation, as of body principles, are still latent and manifested as a part of the body.
39. Before that the entity was in the Persian land, during those periods when, in the 'city in the hills and plains,' there were changes being wrought in the purposes of many.
40. There the entity was closely associated with that individual who undertook the carrying on of the activities after Uhjltd's change - or demise.
41. Thus, the principles becoming somewhat changed to greater commercial than the spiritual import, the entity sought to prevent much and yet acceded - because of influences wrought in the experience.
42. There the entity established a language, or the speech combination of the various groups from the many lands that comprise the activities during that period.
43. Thus the entity rose to a position of power. And there may be many even in the present experience that will be, that are governed much by some activity in which the entity may apply itself to a definite task; but will have to do or deal with the construction individuals put upon words, their phrases, their combinations, their sources.
44. So with the activities in the present, those things that will deal with peoples; of the soil yet not of the soil, but principles - spiritual and material. For, practical living is that which produces growth - as nature and its laws indicate to man.
45. The name then was Ajahan.
46. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, during those periods when there were those last attempts of the sons of the Law of One to prevent the activities that brought about the destruction by the children of Belial, - the using or applying of spiritual laws to the aggrandizing of the appetites of the physical being.
47. The entity in the experience suffered hardships, disappointments. And disappointment is the kind of hardship that eats into the soul and mind and body alike.
48. In the experience the entity gained and lost; lost when there was the giving up.
49. The name then was Ajr.
50. AS to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
2615-1 Page 6
51. First, analyze thyself, thy purposes. Then, know thine own ideals, spiritually and materially. Then study to show thyself approved; that there be no disappointing of thy inner self with what thy mind and body does with its opportunities. Let that which has prompted thee be thy guide.
52. As to the field of activity - those places farther North, even farther north than the land of the present nativity; but deal with peoples, lands, activities, group association; study of body, mind and soul; as an instructor, director in a service that deals with groups - not as an organized religion, but religion is individual. For, He is the Father of all and not a respecter of persons.
53. Ready for questions.
54. (Q) In what way, through what specific type of activity may I give expression to my abilities which will render the greatest service to others? (A) Just as has been indicated. As to the definite channel or its name, this ye should find in thy associations, thy activities, thy hopes, thy desires.
55. (Q) Describe my past relations with the following, what are the urges in the present and how may I develop the best expression in the present: My mother? (A) In the association before this we find that the mother was, as might be said, the ideal. Far away, far afield from that service in the end. Thus the closeness that has appeared in the present; and the need for the cherishing of that association because of its determining factor as to the manner in which the self will respond to material urges.
56. (Q) My Aunt [...]? (A) Closely associated especially in that activity in the Holy Land, as well as in the Persian land. These were companionate activities in purposes, as well as complements one to another.
57. (Q) [2174] [my present employer]? (A) Especially in the Palestine experience there were the close associations; the complementary activities one to the other, in the service rendered during those periods of activity. And there should be a close association in purposes through this experience.
58. (Q) Is there any section of the country where I may find the greatest outlet for expression and service. (A) As we find, that as would be in the northern portions, or upper or middle portions of New England would be better in the present.
59. (Q) Should I attempt to write, and if so what particular or specific type?
2615-1 Page 7
(A) The relationships of man to the soil and its Maker, and as to how these coordinate man's reaction to things and peoples.
60. (Q) What definite things can I do that will remove the blocks which seem to have existed for this medium of expression? (A) Give the greater application for a definite period, and ye will find - as this is made - these may be put into not only philosophical but story form, as well as educational; and they will become classical in APPLICATION.
61. (Q) Explain what has caused apparent blocks to my general activities and how may they be met and overcome? (A) Each block has been a steppingstone, not a stumblingstone, my brother! Keep, then, in the purpose that is and has been indicated here.
62. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file [GD's note: He nodded his head at many things as they were said; later remarked he was sure the reading would mean a great deal to him.] im.]
