1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2641].
3. As we find, there are disturbances that prevent the better physical functioning of the body. These are in some directions a constitutional reaction and in others functional in the organs of the body.
4. These, then, are disturbances as we find them with this body, [2641] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates inflammation in the system, - or it indicates an activity in the gastric flows that assist in digestion through the system. Thus those activities in the lower portion of stomach, or through the pylorus and portions of duodenum, where inflammation of a nature tends to form gas obstructions.
6. Thus a form of acidity, which is illustrated in the character of the blood at times, as well as in the irregularity in pulsation and pressure - occasionally. Also it is indicated in a NERVE tension which produces insomnia, or lack of the ability to centralize the sympathetic energies with the physical reaction.
7. At such periods there is produced an aggravation to ALL the functionings AND the constitutional reaction to the sensory forces, through the nerve pressures in the adrenals.
8. Hence there is a heaviness at times across the small of the back, as well as a cold feeling across the diaphragm area.
9. We find that the activity arises primarily from a condition in the gall duct area. While the tensions are reflex in their nature, we find that a tendency to aid in draining same, purifying the activity of the gastric flow in the stomach proper, allaying the force of the character of the hydrochloric content, will aid in bringing bettered

conditions for the body.
10. As to the reactions of these upon the general nervous system - we find that at periods the body is easily irritated. This reflects through sympathetic activities to the body.
11. Also insomnia arises at times, causing uneasiness; though it is not always easy for the body mentally or physically to place or indicate the source of the uneasiness.
12. The effects upon the organs themselves:
13. These become at times contributory causes to the eyes and the conditions to the socket, rather than so much to the optic forces themselves. The correction in the one will alleviate much of the disturbing natures that produce irritation through the lachrymal ducts.
14. Thus the contributory conditions may aid considerable in alleviating disturbance with the optic forces.
15. The effect upon the organs is that the assimilation and digestion at times becomes irregular, and what at times may agree at other times disagrees entirely with the activities of the body.
16. The eliminations through the alimentary canal become clogged, especially in the transverse AND descending colon.
17. These bring about those pressures that influence that depression, or that activity in the area above and about the activity of the kidneys that brings some disturbance.
18. In making applications that would be most beneficial, as we find:
19. First we would give that the body begin to use, periodically, the Castor Oil Packs. Apply these for at least an hour each evening, when ready to retire, for three evenings in succession, for three evenings out of each week - leaving off the rest of the week, then applying again the next week, and so on. See? Use at least three thicknesses of flannel thoroughly saturated with the hot Castor Oil, and apply over the liver, gall duct, and extend to the area about the end of the stomach - or from the pylorus and close under the right rib to the caecum area, in the edge of the groin. Apply an oilcloth to prevent soiling the linen, then an electric pad.
20. When removing the Pack the area may be cleansed with a weak soda water solution.
21. Then massage into the area, the whole area, an equal combination of Witchhazel and Peanut Oil. These do not mix, but shake together, pour in a saucer and then massage thoroughly into the whole area. Do this each time following the application of the Packs, see?
2641-2 Page 3
22. On the third evening, following the third Pack (and do this each week, you see) - take internally two tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
23. When there is the massage, the three days each week, make particular reference to the area in the spine from the 3rd and 4th dorsal to the base of the brain, with the oils, - which will stimulate the activities of the whole cerebrospinal system.
24. After the second or third series of the applications, made in the manner indicated, have a good osteopathic draining of the gall duct. This will be most beneficial.
25. Through the periods of making these applications - do not take too much heavy foods. Never any beef steak or the like, or ham or the like. Rather use fish, fowl or lamb - none of these fried; and principally a vegetable diet - the leafy rather than the dried variety.
26. Have plenty of citrus fruits and whole wheat grain cereals and the like, though do not have the citrus fruits AND the cereals at the same meal - rather alternate these from day to day. The whole wheat grain and the like is preferable to the mixed grain, or the combination of too much rice, macaroni, cheese or the like.
27. Do these, and we will alleviate the headaches, the souring of the foods, the indigestion and sleeplessness.
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) What causes the constant headaches? (A) Pressures upon the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, from gases in duodenum and the pyloric portion of stomach, especially.
30. (Q) What type of eliminant would be best? (A) Preferably the eliminations should be controlled by fruits and cereals in the diet. When an eliminant is needed, best that it be of a senna rather than of a mineral base; though occasionally - once a month or the like - it would be well to flush the system, even after taking the senna base properties, with a mineral laxative such as ENO or Sal Hepatica.
31. (Q) Can the eye condition be corrected? (A) It may be aided, NOT fully corrected; as we find.
32. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs.
