1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2642].
3. As we find, in giving that as may be helpful or beneficial for this body, many conditions - physical, mental and spiritual - must be taken into consideration.
4. For, the disturbances as we find with this body are a complication of disorders which involve all phases of the body, the mind AND the spiritual reactions.
5. Then, in giving the disturbances, we find that these react FROM the physical; and thus are basically physical disturbances. But being of a supersensitive nature, normally, there are mental reactions. And thus all conditions, physical AND mental, must be approached from the correct SPIRITUAL desire.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them - physical - with this body, and mental reactions in same:
7. First - the blood supply indicates the lack of nourishment, and the inability of the system to assimilate same properly from the amounts of foods that have been able to be maintained or retained by the body for its building up.
8. Thus there has continued to be the continuous mental reactions from the aggravating of nerves in and through the body from this source.
9. These, of course, primarily arose from those obstructions in portions of the body that coordinate with mental and physical reactions, not only to the bodily functioning but bodily reactions.
10. Then, these arose from those pressures indicated in the
2642-1 Page 2
reflex action in the central nervous system, or the brain center reflexes themselves.
11. Then those applications that upset the hypogastric and pneumogastric nerve forces caused (and cause) the reflex from the assimilating center TO the central nervous system.
12. Thus the sources of complications that have existed.
13. That there has been, and is, a continuation of the body-forces to react at all under these distresses indicates the power of spiritual and mental influences; that, if properly directed upon the body-forces, mental and physical, may bring recuperation to the body.
14. The gland forces of the body have been abused, in that some have been so overstimulated as to work hardships upon the activity between the hypogastric and pneumogastric centers.
15. Thus the severe headaches, at times the inability to take foods at all, the oppressions that have come to the body at times which have brought about the periods of melancholia, the periods of resentment builded towards individuals, those as builded towards self of self-destruction, of that tendency towards destruction of any influence that would hinder in the reactions of the body-forces themselves.
16. Though there have been periods when it has been necessary for a sedative reaction in the body, the saving grace has been that such influences have been kept to a hypnotic rather than a narcotic - in the material or physical sense.
17. There are periods when there is irregularity to the blood circulation, or the heart beat itself. Yet the stability in the ENTITY force itself, as indicated in the seven centers of propagation, is well established. And thus a heart, lung, liver and kidney circulation has been maintained. It is still indicated, of course, that there are still frustrations through the liver and the cardiac portion of the stomach itself, from the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, in the upper and lower portion of the digestive system as related to assimilation.
18. Here, then, we find the disturbances:
19. Pressures in the cerebrospinal areas that reflect to the ganglia along the centers in the cerebrospinal system. While there has not been the response to some applications that have been more in the nature of purely mechanical adjustments without consideration of the interchanging activity of body, mind and spiritual influences in the body.
20. KNOW - KNOW - there CAN be NO healing save from the awakening of the divine within self. This is not only true
2642-1 Page 3
for this body but for every individual entity. It is a fact that these influences or centers may be aroused by varied means, through which body, mind and soul function in the physical being. Thus the needs of these considerations for this body, particularly, in making administrations for beneficial results for this body:
21. It may be aided; it may be helped. It will require patience, persistence, prayer, meditation; not only by the body itself but by those who may apply the spiritual, the mental control of physical activities for the body to bring this full awareness within this particular body; for the creative influences, for the desire to fill its place, its opportunity in the material life.
22. Then, in making administrations:
23. It will require that there be, first, the agreeable, and pleasant surroundings; not only of the external nature but the mental and spiritual associations. And there should be such companionship with the body at all times. Not as to become obnoxious in movements, in desires, in hopes, in aspirations, but working together! not only with one another but with the spiritual and mental forces that come from an activity in doing, in being a helpful influence to those that are met as associates and in activities with the body; whether in picking up sticks or in building activities with others, in mind, in character, in association, in reading, in writing, in active forces of EVERY physical and mental nature.
24. As to the environs - it should be close to water, - that in keeping with conditions in the body. As these are low, then it should not be where it is too cold, nor where it is too warm, but so that sand, sea, air AND the activities may have their influence in the mental environs of the body.
25. There should be the daily applications of a massage with Peanut Oil (in the beginning), that aids in supplying nutriment to the skin, to the activity of centers, ganglia, muscles, nerves and tissues; lovingly, carefully administered. This oil does not become rancid on body; it does supply nutriment, elasticity and activity to the cerebrospinal system.
26. Follow the Peanut Oil massage with an alcohol rub - not with denatured nor rub alcohol, but a very mild solution of GRAIN alcohol - as to give strength and vitality to the tendons and muscles, to give stimulating activity to the lymph and emunctory circulation of the abdomen AND of the organs of same.
27. In the food values - here, too, consideration must be
2642-1 Page 4
given.
28. Vary the diet.
29. Whole milk, raw, is good. Preferably, if possible, take most of this with the heat still in same - not cold, not old - the fresher the milk the better. Thus it must be from the tested cows, not the common or untested herd or individual cow.
30. Occasionally, if possible, goat's milk would be well, too. This may gradually even replace cow's milk, as other foods that are assimilated may be given the body.
31. Begin with beef juice - this does not mean soup nor anything like it! But it should be made daily. Take not more than half a teaspoonful at the time, but take it as medicine every four hours - though it might not be necessary to take it through the night, but every four hours during the day. Gradually increase the quantity, but never more than a teaspoonful at the time, see? And take at least ten minutes to sip the teaspoonful or the half teaspoonful! This may be taken with whole wheat toast, if palatable to the body. This will assimilate, this will give strength, this will aid in adding vital energies for the body; as also will air, sea, water, AND the mental and physical companionship bring recuperation, WITH the daily massage.
32. Do not hurry through the massage. Take time to give same, and let it be done with the spirit of truth, of hope, of purpose, of the suggestive influence as will aid in establishing the coordinations needed for the rebuilding, the replenishing for this body of those conditions.
33. These do, and then in sixty to ninety days we would give further instructions.
34. Ready for questions.
35. (Q) Who would you recommend as the proper individual to be with him and to give these treatments? (A) The one who gives the massage should not be the same one that is with the body continuously as companion, as aide. But we would recommend such an one as Townsend to give the massage. We would recommend such an area as the west coast of Florida. There should NOT be other than the companionship AND the activity for the body. Clearwater. Mrs. Townsend.
36. (Q) Would you suggest one as a companion for the body? (A) This had best be chosen by the body or those responsible for same. It must be one believing and ministering in the spiritual, creative influences of the spirit of truth.
2642-1 Page 5
Do this. Remember - the spiritual, the mental, the attitudes of the associate and companion will mean much; as also will the character of the individual daily administering of the massages. Corrections or adjustments are not to be made, but there IS to be kept the ability of absorption. Through massages, and a good conversation during same.
37. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for self and companion, the other for the masseuse - Mrs. Pierce Townsend [Lizzie G. Townsend], 1721 N. Fort Harrison St., Clearwater, Fla.) Copy to sister, Mrs. [...] (two copies, one for the mother) " " Ass'n file (See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Pure Beef Juice.) ef Juice.)
