1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the record here of that entity now known as or called [2648].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these in many respects become rather interesting. There are many symbols that indicate influences in the experience of the entity; these even more than the numerological or astrological aspects.

4. For, the entity is one rather that conforms to patterns, or to symbols. These are always in straight lines. Thus the column, the T, those that would form into the triangle would be the natural, normal development for the entity.

5. Thus in counsel to those who would direct the developing of the mental and spiritual body - keep every direction in what might be called straight lines. Not that this is to indicate a one-dimensional line, or an entity of a one-track mind; but to the entity a thing IS or it isn't! There is little of the giving of leeway, even to others. This is indicated in the manner in which this entity responds to its associates that would become frivolous, or that would even entertain "make believe" things in their experience.

6. Yet, as will be seen, and as from the symbols indicated, it is well that the entity cultivate that of humor, or the funny side of an experience and not become morose, self-centered, nor to that extent as to only see the serious side of experiences, associations or the like.

2648-1 Page 2

7. Cultivate reading comics, wit and humor, those stories or visualizations of activities that have the humor in same.

8. In giving the interpretations of the records here, these - then - are chosen with the desire and purpose that this information may be helpful for the entity; enabling the entity to better - or more fully - fulfillthe purposes for which it came into this experience.

9. Each of those about the entity, or the environmental influence of the entity, as may be indicated, has much to do with the choices the entity may make in later experience. Not that the entity is a problem, and yet there will be times and periods when sudden changes in the attitudes of the entity MAY - for the moment - make a problem. Yet this requires that consideration in relationship to the whole of the mien or manner of the entity's approach to problems, things, conditions, peoples, and the outlook upon the mental, the spiritual and physical aspects of a material experience.

10. In choosing these interpretations, these are given with the desire that this may be the more helpful, enabling the entity to give greater emphasis to those phases of the experience that may bring THIS tendency - to minimize faults in others as ye would have others minimize thine own faults or shortcomings. For, that which is reflected in self must have its basic activity in a fault in self.

11. In the urges for the greater material, mental or spiritual manifestation, magnify the virtues. See the good in all. GOOD, remember, is never a sad, solemn or serious experience for any. For, that which produces a solemnness is as reverberant against self's own desire for self's own way. Remember this in thy activity and in thy judgments especially of others, and it will make the greater abilities to be a good conversationalist, a good associate, to be liked the more by the associates. For, this - companionship - is an experience sought by each entity.

12. To be sure, it is oft well to be alone. It is true that it is well to so live as to find self a good companion for self to associate with. Yet, that which is creative seeks expression in the growth of activity among others. For, thus came man into conscious experience.

13. Astrologically, we find the entity inclined to be headstrong. Thus Mercury, Venus and Mars, with those accentuations in each, oft in this experience become a part of the latent and manifested urge. Without having self's own way the entity may oft attempt to work "around" or to act so as to bring about - through hook or crook - the experience of having self's own way. Else, madness may

2648-1 Page 3

become a part of the expression, or the inclination to sulk or to become obstinate, or to make agreements that "If you'll do this, then I will do that."

14. These are not those inclinations that bring the better understanding. To be sure, the experience of life is cause and effect, which is the first premise of the mental application of the entity in the symbols of its mental, physical and spiritual manifestation. Yet, all should move in straight lines towards a goal. Hence set an ideal first.

15. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities; in Venus the abilities in the artistic temperament - music, rhythm, and yet that which is always STRAIGHT - NOT frivolous or with fancy thrills or frills - is sought by the entity.

16. We find in Mars, anger; in Jupiter the universality of that to which the entity may grow, may develop - if the choices or directions taken are in a greater creative influence.

17. In a career, as may be termed, the entity may find the greater activity; that having to do with statistics, numbers, or teaching, or mathematics, or those influences of that nature. The entity may find the greater development, the greater expression in such directions in this particular experience.

18. Languages may later be a part of the development. For, as indicated in Venus, manners, ways and means of expression are an innate activity of the entity - mentally, spiritually. And as languages or words are a means of expressing the emotions or feelings, or powers of influence, these are channels through which the entity may also find expression.

19. As to the appearances in the earth - these indicate the manner of sternness in the entity's expression at times. Hence the needs for cultivating those activities and associations in which the mental expression is indicated in wit, in humor, in seeing and in remembering as many funny stories as it may.

20. Before this the entity was in the land of the present sojourns, during the earlier settlings in this particular land - in and about Williamsburg, Jamestown and Richmond. All of these places were well known, and were active influences during the early experiences of the entity - as those forces for the establishing of educational principles in the land.

21. The entity, as Ellen Drew, made the attempts to induce groups, provinces, the state, to give greater stress to the educational facilities for the young in the land. Even through the period known as the Revolution, the entity was

2648-1 Page 4

not deterred from its activity in that direction.

22. For, as the entity applied then, it should in the present seek - the going towards a goal. Thus the needs in the present that the ideals be set in spiritual, in mental as well as in the material.

23. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods when the associates of the entity were active in the political and economic influences in the Holy Land.

24. There the entity came in closer touch with the teachings of the Master. For, the entity's associations were with those who were in authority in that land, though the companion or associate of the entity was a Roman - a Roman ruler of the guard that made the close associations with those activities in Antioch, in Jerusalem, in Judea, and in all of those activities in the land.

25. In the beginning of that association the entity sought that expression for the idea of an experience or lark, yet coming in contact with those who had been associates of the Master brought a seriousness. With the destruction of some of the principles, it brought about the overzealousness of the entity in the latter portion of that experience.

26. But these find lodgments in the present. Thus the necessity of those things to this entity, and its mind, being real, purposeful; and "no fooling" ever in the experience.

27. The name then was Teklos.

28. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, in the 'city in the hills and the plains.'

29. There the entity was among those peoples first to accept the teachings because of the healings in that particular period of the teacher. For, the entity then was the daughter of the first individual healed on that plane, and in the beginning of those activities.

30. Then, with the removal of the parents from India to the 'city in the hills,' the entity grew up under that environment - in those activities as the datastician, in the attempts to keep records.

31. And this may be a part of the expression for the entity in this present experience and activity.

32. The name then was Bueda.

33. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those periods of reconstruction following the return of the Priest.

34. The entity then was among that group of individuals with whom tests were made, it might be said, for the activity of the new order of children in the land.

35. Thus we find the entity entered during that experience

2648-1 Page 5

for the activities of teaching, ministering and giving the better experiences for individual activity.

36. Also from that sojourn we find again in the present the tendency towards the solemnity of all material as well as mental activity. Thus the admonitions that there be kept the joyousness, the loving kindness, the wit and humor, the gladness and laughter, and the little things that give greater expression and hope in the experiences of this land.

37. Then the entity was among the children blessed by the Priest Ra-Ta and the associates through that sojourn - in the name Ba-El-Or.

38. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:

39. Study to show thyself approved unto an ideal, chosen by self, in spiritual, in mental activity.

40. Let that which is the purpose be kept first and foremost, but think of others also.

41. In a field of activity towards the direction of the datastician, the school teacher, the mathematician, the entity may find expression and the greater outlet for the abilities - and in the home later in this experience.

42. Ready for questions.

43. (Q) What is her latent talent? (A) As indicated, mathematical or technical problems.

44. (Q) What course of study should she pursue? (A) Anything that would give expression to being the datastician, the technician or the mathematician.

45. (Q) Please give the mother very definite advice as to the method of the entity's training. (A) As indicated, it is necessary always to reason. But ALWAYS keep that which is tried and true. Do insist on the cultivation of wit as well as wisdom in the entity's experience, else the solemnity of life itself may become burdensome to the entity - and discouragements would break where reason and activity in other things might give power.

46. (Q) Why are not she and her sister [2459] more congenial? (A) One is of the airy-fairy-lilian type, and the other is SO AND SO! They are good one for the other, but they need the balance power kept between them.

47. (Q) How may she overcome this and bring about more harmony between them? (A) By seeing in the experience the fun, the joy that [2459] gets from EVERYTHING!

48. (Q) Should she continue her music under the same teacher, or would you advise a change? If so, under whom? (A) We would keep the same in the present, because this may be only the basis - not as something to be practised but as

2648-1 Page 6

the basis of harmony in the life. As every expression is a means of giving out the emotions, music is the greater manner of same. But it is only to be a minor part in the experience of the entity. We would keep the same, in the present.

49. (Q) What type of music should she study? (A) Only that which is of the classical nature can the entity bear in itself! though there should be a great deal of the patriotic music, as well as the recessional or the folklore type should be practised.

50. (Q) Is there any special color, stone or symbol that would be good for the entity to wear? (A) As indicated, symbols of a straight line, a T and the triangle. These are to the entity as the development or the spreading, or the closing in, as each implies. Stones - those of the yellow tint or nature would be the better. These bring the vibrations for more harmonious influence in one who is especially influenced in Mercury, Venus and Mars. For, as each of these is indicated in the white, the red, the blue, the yellow harmonizes in same.

51. (Q) What is her life seal, and its meaning? (A) Those figures as indicated, and few frills about them!
