1. EC: Yes, we have the body here and many business associations.

2. (Q) What are the prospects for [2667] to further continue in the employ of the ... Lace Company, or should he be in business for himself? (A) There, we find, are the best of prospects for [2667] to continue with the ... Lace Company if he so desires. We find, however, that with the conditions that are to arise, and with the prospects of the renewed activities that will come within the next three years in this line of business, there would be, with some little conditions that would be expected to happen with the change, but greater possibilities in the same character, though not just fully the same lines as with the present operations. We find that this may be organized, not only by representation in foreign fields, but in the fields in this present we find many can be and would be, many have been, interested in seeing [2667] make a change of this nature. Would be organized under much the same line and way as has been discussed among some local, some in Cincinnati, some St. Paul we get, and Philadelphia - New York. Make it, the business, such that the heads of large concerns handle the output, and on such stipulations as would make the independent worker sufficient to be of the greater value to such operations. We would give, begin the negotiations at once. Some have been opened, you see, for the possibilities of same. We will have some stirring times. We will have some calamities in this country in business lines in the next year, as we have given from other conditions. These will proceed from outside influences, yet this business, controlled directly under the influence of [2667] would be successful, and good, for the principles are correct.

3. (Q) What method should be follow to organize a company to help finance a lace curtain plant? (A) As we have given before. First, interest those departmental heads and the business interests that would be the disposition of such an output. Stick close to those lines for incorporation through such channels, for we will

find more and more the co-operation from the direct used materials to the direct distributors of same.

4. (Q) Is the party whom he consulted recently to make ruffled curtains alright to take in as a partner? (A) In small ways, we would say, yes. In some conditions have a more perfect understanding before we would have a partnership condition. This and we find is in different - this end we see leads to some conditions that would develop farther on in the manufacture of such styles, such kinds, such materials that would be at an advariance [at-varience?] to other conditions, yet would be satisfactory under this condition.
