1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2701].
3. As we find, in giving the causes and those disturbing forces, many varied phases of the body-mind, as related to the effects that same may have upon the pathological condition of the body, should be considered.
4. There are disturbing physical forces, and these cause a great deal of anxiety and inconvenience to the body. But the disturbing mental activities have been the greater contributing causes to the physical conditions in the body; discontent, fear, anxiety.
5. And the tendency to submerge much of this, as circumstance has caused the individual entity to do, finds reflection now in the physical forces.
6. Hence we find that it may become necessary for extreme measures to remove some of the results that have been produced in the physical body. Know, however, that though operative measures may remove effects, they do not remove causes. And it will be necessary that some precautions be taken in building up the body for same, as well as in corrective measures that may add to the general physical welfare of the body.
7. These, then, from the pathological standpoint, are the conditions as we find here with this body, [2701] we are speaking of:
8. The blood supply indicates that there have been those tendencies for the formations that become irritations, especially in the lymph flow; that have been and are indicated through portions of the stomach itself proper, as well as along the alimentary canal. Especially are these indicated in the present in the sphincter areas of the anus,
2701-1 Page 2
or rectal area.
9. We find that these have reached such proportions as to cause the necessity for some operative measures, if there would be relief for the body.
10. For the physical effects in the areas of the pylorus as well as the lower portion of duodenum, we would have those stimulations osteopathically for better drainages.
11. As an alkaline antiseptic, to reduce and to aid in keeping less acidity through the alimentary canal, we would take internally three to four to five drops of Glyco-Thymoline stirred in at least eight to ten ounces of water. Do this each time water is taken, save at mealtime or the like. This will tend to alleviate those disturbances.
12. For these are formations from lymph pockets; not of a malignant nature, as we find, but they do tend to cause improper assimilation of foods, from the very character of the irradiation from the accumulations - as well as producing the general drain in the whole of the alimentary canal; causing gas, distress, some inflammation in the pylorus as well as throughout the duodenum. There is some in ALL areas where the lacteals attempt to drain, or strain as it were the digestive forces from the lacteals - or from the chyle.
13. Thus all fats are hard for this body to digest.
14. But beef juices, liver, fish may be easily digested. These will aid in stimulating and building up the body.
15. When there has been the preparation of the body for the operative measures as suggested, this should be done.
16. During the periods of recuperation, use occasionally an oil enema, prepared in this manner:
17. To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil, Usoline or Nujol, or the like, add 2 drops of Carbolic Acid and 1 ounce of Glycerine. These should be thoroughly mixed.
18. Even in the present such an enema would be helpful, - but with the building up of the body as suggested, and the reduction of the acidity in the system, and the creating of better coagulative influences for the whole blood stream, it would be much better for the body to have the operation.
19. And during the period of recuperation, these oils will not only be in the lower portion of the intestine as an antiseptic and a healing, but will aid in better coagulative forces from the activities, and prevent the bleeding after the operative measures.
20. Do these.
21. And we would have the diet rich in those vitamins that build resistances; whole grain cereals - as plenty of oats

and wheat, also of citrus fruits (though not at the same meal with the cereals).
22. Take beef juice rather as a tonic; a tablespoonful during a day, but best that this be taken about a teaspoonful at a time, taking at least a minute to swallow that amount, just sipping it. Not soup, but beef juice. Or liver may be prepared in the same way and manner; for liver extract would be most beneficial for the body, taken in that same way - seasoned, of course, to the taste.
23. Do that.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) What causes and what should be done for Vertigo? (A) As indicated, there is an upsetting of the balance of the whole system, producing incoordination between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous forces by the suppression through those conditions we have indicated.
26. (Q) Any involvement of abdominal organs? (A) Only sympathetically, as we find - in the areas outlined. The attitude of the body - as to self, to others - of course must be changed. That has been a suppression. Whether there are to be definite steps taken for the separations, that have caused a great deal of this suppression and the anxieties - this must be determined in self. But know from Whom and what is the source of peace of mind as well as cooperation in body-function. For, it is in Him, the Maker, ye live and move and have thy being. The trust, the faith in Him brings harmony for body, for mind, and REST for the soul.
