1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2702].

3. As we find, there is rather the complication of disturbances hindering the more perfect reaction in the physical forces of this body.

4. We find that these arise from an unbalancing in the chemical forces of the body, produced by changes wrought in the system by the glandular functionings as the basic disturbances.

5. The effects of these, then, cause the reactions that produce the greater distress in the body.

6. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [2702] we are speaking of:

7. The blood supply indicates from its very nature a tendency for a form or character of anemia, also the chemical unbalance; and the relationships to those activities that, from a form of acidity, cause those accumulations in the patches or nodules through the lymph in portions of the body - especially through the alimentary canal.

8. These, as we find, form the basis of the greater disturbances.

9. In the nervous system there are, naturally, those broken relationships in the coordinant associations between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous systems, with the action of the organs as governed by or as related to the sympathetic reflections in the cerebrospinal system.

10. Hence, as we find, in those areas about the 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal there are the forms of a lesion there. This, as combined with the pressures indicated in the colon, especially the descending or ascending and portions of the

2702-1 Page 2

transverse colon, brings a condition in the nerve pressures to the locomotories, to the arms and limbs, as to give an unevenness and a distress to the body-functioning.

11. These cause heaviness, pains, stiffness, acuteness at times. And these as we find are the reflex reactions of those conditions or effects in the nervous system, from the particular areas indicated. Also there is a reflex sympathetic reaction to portions of the organs that control the activity in the sensory forces. Hence the condition about the face and eyes and at times causing uneasiness and anxiety for the body.

12. As to the functioning of the organs themselves - we find that, with this natural character of strain or result from this strain, there is at times a fullness in the throat, which is entirely a sympathetic condition. While a dryness is produced because of the general call upon the lymph circulation for activity through the areas in the alimentary canal, we do not find any malignant condition in or through these areas.

13. This dryness, and a general pain at times would tend to lead towards a symptom of such disturbance. However, we find that these are merely pressures that overflow at times.

14. In the lungs, heart and liver we find, from the very nature of the sources through the glandular disturbance, an irregularity in the pulsation as well as a shortness of breath and a fullness at times through that portion of the lung area; and the liver disturbance becomes a symptom of lack of proper activity.

15. These are areas or conditions that may be called sympathetic from GLANDULAR reactions.

16. We find constantly upsetting conditions in the digestive system; very poor appetite at times, at others the desire for food but soon satisfied, and little of same digesting properly.

17. For this body, as we find:

18. First we would begin with reducing, osteopathically, those lesions in the upper dorsal area; coordinating the lumbar AND the cervicals WITH those corrections made in the dorsal area.

19. We would begin taking internally one drop of Atomidine in half a glass of water each morning before any meal is taken, for five days. Then leave off five days, and then begin again, and so on. This will not only tend to take away those disturbances through the alimentary canal, but will also aid in the healing forces through the alimentary canal and purify the glandular system.

20. Following each five-day period of taking the Atomidine,

2702-1 Page 3

(during the rest period, you see), have a thorough hydrotherapy treatment. This would include a Fume Bath, using Witchhazel fumes. For the first time or two, and occasionally thereafter, this would also include a good high colonic irrigation; though do not attempt to eliminate all at once. Use only body temperature water for such irrigation, and let there be used a level teaspoonful of baking soda and a heaping teaspoonful of table salt dissolved thoroughly in each quart of water injected. These would be the proportions, you see. After there has been the thorough cleansing, use in the last water a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to each quart. This will prevent any great weakness or strain on the body.

21. In the matter of the diet; keep the easily assimilated foods; those that are body-building and especially that carry plenty of Vitamin B-1; or especially the whole grain cereals - as oats and wheat, but these should be thoroughly cooked. Also use plenty of citrus fruits, but these not ever at the same meal with the cereals; rather use these alternately, one used one day, the other the next, and so on, see? or, if one is taken in the morning, use the other in the evening, or the like.

22. Do these, and as we find we may bring the better conditions for this body, [2702].

23. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) Is there any sign of spinal tumor? or malignancy in abdomen? (A) As we find, there are spinal lesions, not spinal tumor. There are accumulations as nodules, not malignant.

25. (Q) Why does she seem in constant pain and to be losing weight? (A) As indicated, this is because of the poisons in the system and especially through the colon, and the lack of proper balance in the chemical forces. And if these applications are made as suggested, we should gradually so purify the glandular force, as well as ridding the system of the toxic forces, as to enable the body to replenish or rebuild itself. Also the stimulations osteopathically, in conjunction with the other applications, should aid the body to assist itself, or aid nature in bringing about recuperative forces and a balance in the body forces. Do these, as outlined, for the better condition of this body.

26. We are through for the present. Copy to Dr. [2701]
