Time of Reading 3:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind - Questions on all phases)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [2708], present in this room, and those conditions that surround the life. Ready for questions.

2. (Q) What causes the swelling in the abdominal region of the body? (A) In understanding these physical conditions, we must understand the conditions as produce, or are produced in the physical functioning of the body. In the region of the 2nd lumbar, and in the 10th dorsal, we find the character of lesion as brings distortion in the supply of nerve energy to that portion of the mesenteric system; so that when in the cycle of functioning the condition occurs, and when there are the exercises - or an undue reaction - this is made more severe. The condition is, then, the accumulation of those forces as operate through that of the lymph and the emunctory circulation, which is so active - especially in the abdominal region, and when this occurs this produces the plethora throughout the system; becoming more acute in the region just above the ends of the jejunum, and in the cavities there does the accumulation press. This being, as seen, in the right side and just below the floating rib. In MEETING the needs of the conditions, would be to have those corrections made OSTEOPATHICALLY - as we find would be better - that will REMOVE this pressure, and at the same time keep that of the alkalin reaction in the system to such an extent as to produce the drainage in system sufficient to PREVENT the re-occurrence of this disorder. This, we would find, would be accomplished through the use of Coker's Compound, or of properties as prevent this accumulation in system, used WITH the manipulations, see, and adjustments.

3. (Q) Is it advisable for the body to rent a house at Virginia Beach for the summer? If not, where should entity spend the summer?

2708-2 Page 2

(A) As WE would find, this would be MOST advisable, to the entity's best interests in MANY ways and manners. Not only for the associations and surroundings as would come through such, but for the meeting of OTHER individuals whom the entity would contact by such an association. Such a place as may be found in ANY of the surroundings as would prove satisfactory for the body.

4. (Q) Shall body sell the business of ... Silk Co., ..., Pa.? (A) This, as we find, would be very well - but not at the PRESENT TIME. In the early Fall, or in February of next YEAR would be better than at the period of depression as exists in such, and the new associations or relations as will be made in the interim would make this more expedient for the body's interests, as WE find same.

5. (Q) If the body retains this business, what new line can increase the present output? (A) This might be increased better by the new associations with those who have had the EXPERIENCE IN such conditions, and following out those lines in which such an one was most familiar WITH. These would be in those of the new channels of the trade, see?

6. (Q) In what part of the country will entity meet her second husband [See 2708-1, her Life Rdg.], and how will she recognize him? (A) Should meet him at Virginia Beach! He will wear a bloodstone on the third finger of left hand, and BORN on the ninth of March! That's close, isn't it?

7. (Q) Is [257] to be a helpful influence to the entity? (A) February and April do not always gee! There are some interests that may be made very helpful, and the relationships held much in the manner as is governed by the entity's OWN intuitive forces - THESE may be made the better. While such contact will bring many varied associations, not ALL does the entity care to retain. They may be helpful as a whole, though there will be many conditions that will not gee.

8. (Q) Has James [...] manager of ... Co., of ..., N.J., been dealing squarely with the owners of the business? (A) This, considered from some viewpoints - there may have been questions. The individual, as a whole, is honorable, upright, and may be trusted. The ENTITY KNOWS the SHORT- COMINGS, and has overlooked some at times. These, however, may be turned into those conditions as would be worth while, and we would keep such relations.

9. (Q) Should body renew lease of her apartment at ..., N.Y. City, when it expires in October? (A) She should!

2708-2 Page 3

10. (Q) For what length of time? (A) This will be governed - because remember, in October there will be some changes - but these will be considered then, as to what the OUTLOOK from then on would be. This, as we find, would be made for three or five years again.

11. (Q) If not, where would be best place to go? (A) This will be the best for the present! There will be other CONSIDERATIONS as will arise about that time, but the decision - as we see at present - would be made for this same surroundings.

12. (Q) Would the body's business suffer from financial loss if she should go to Europe in 1931? (A) Better make it '32, and that will be more satisfactory for those that will expect to go with you!

13. (Q) Who expects to go with her? (A) These are to be met yet - some of them!

14. (Q) What investment can I successfully make in order to give a third to the channels through which this information comes? (A) There may be MANY sources that the entity MIGHT be interested in. This dependent, to be sure, upon the CHARACTER of INVESTMENTS the entity would desire to make. There are those with whom the entity has been associated, who deal in just such a way and manner. These, collaborated with, would give FOR the entity the best source, the best resources for such investments - considered in such a way and manner. These will be found, were they in SPECULATIVE manners, in those of industrials that show the combines that are to be of the INTERNATIONAL nature, and to have INFLUENCE on such. Also those of the PARTICULAR RAILS that are of interest at the present time. Any of these, but through these channels would we offer those of the best interest for self, for others.

15. (Q) Does Giatto [...] love the entity for herself or for her money? (A) Great big questions might arise from this. Would not be well to speculate too much. The entity knows, intuitively, that there are times when it is NOT for self, but rather for the surroundings and the influence - not only of money, but of individuals - yet there is often shown those conditions when there is seen that within self there is a question if it ISN'T self; but THIS is mostly jealousy and fear. Not to be trusted too far.

16. (Q) Would it be advisable to employ [...] or Count [4341] of N.Y. City, as part of the selling organization of Rioner Company? (A) This entity understands the association, and is as one referred to that should be in such a position in the

2708-2 Page 4

organization.

17. (Q) Will the entity be called to Texas during the year of 1930? (A) We find that there WOULD be some such call, but not for the PURPOSES as is felt that MIGHT be the reason at present.

18. (Q) Is it advisable for entity to have her boy, foster son, [1719] with her this summer? (A) Part time only. During the early portion. Then would be better for self and for the boy, that HE be in other conditions.

19. (Q) Is it advisable to bring [...] to Virginia Beach? (A) In the early portion of the stay there, yes.

20. (Q) Then where should he go from here? (A) New England, or Texas.

21. (Q) Any further advice for this entity? (A) In the whole surroundings of the enquiring mind of the entity, many conditions, many various avenues of self-expression present themselves for the entity's consideration. Consider all well. The entity's discretion is good. Use discretion, and do not be CAJOLED by another. The will is excellent! We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital
