Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Ohio.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [2719], at his home on ... in ..., Ohio; who seeks information, advice and guidance, as to his life, his work, and family associations. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind of [2719]; this in part we have had before.
3. Many changes have come about in the associations and relations of this body since we last had same here. As indicated then, associations and relations with [257] COULD be made to be most satisfactory. Especially is this true in the present, as related to those activities in connection with defense and preparations in the selecting of wood and wood working associations. These, as we find, are rather in keeping with first suggestions indicated for this body.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) You would advise, then, that I join [257] in some capacity at Arthurdale, West Va., or to be associated with him at any other location he suggests? (A) As we find, there are associations and connections with [257] at Arthurdale that will lead to other conditions a little later on that would prove most satisfactory, if there is the use of the abilities of [2719] in those directions. Then, we would advise such associations.
6. (Q) This would be in preference to trying to get a job with the U.S. Government or Army? (A) This would lead directly to such associations and connections, and would be and prove to be the more satisfactory channels through which such connections might be attained at this particular time.
7. (Q) Considering my present conditions and that of my family, what should I do for my best and most successful future? (A) This must be worked out by self, of course. The opportunities are offered through the channels that have

been indicated, as we find, for the best interests of self and for the purposes and ideals. These shall be kept, the purposes and ideals, in a constructive or creative influence.
8. (Q) Advise me fully as to the present and future status of my oldest son, [...], Jr., now a freshman at ... University, ..., Ohio (now living at ..., O.). (A) Such advice, as we find, must come from a personal application, not through the mind of this entity in the present. This should be individual, as it must be for any other member of the individual family. The seeking must be done by the individual. For, each soul is an entity, a unit within itself; as to its abilities, its purposes, its aims, and as to the physical, mental or material welfare.
9. (Q) Any other general advice as to the welfare of my wife, four children and myself? (A) Something must be done, something must be begun - before advice or counsel might be given. As to general advice - know where you want to go. Know your ideals and purposes. Know the author of thy ideals. Know thy purposes are not of a selfish but of a creative nature. While to be sure the duties, obligations to self and family associates must be taken into consideration, know that for the good of self as well as for others the relationships to Creative Forces must be put first. Do the first things first.
