1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [2733], present in this room, in relation to the psychic work of Edgar Cayce, and the Association's work, especially the New York affiliations. You will advise her regarding her future relations with this work, answering the questions which will be asked.

2. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [2733], also the psychic work of Edgar Cayce and the New York affiliations.

3. In considering an effort by self on the part of affiliating self with such an undertaking, first - as we have given - self should SATISFY self as to the validity, the purpose, the aims of such work, and as to the sincerity, the ability to fulfilla purpose that may be determined in self as related to individuals, their lives, their problems, their hopes, their fears.

4. There will be seen, in that which has been given, that the relationships of the self as an entity, as an individual, have been such as to peculiarly (from the material viewpoint) fit self for such an undertaking.

5. To be sure, there are in self, in associations, in affiliations that will arise, some problems. They are for self's own development to be met.

6. Then, the decision would be, are they to be met in an environ that to self offers an opportunity, a channel that may be helpful in meeting those very problems in self's development, as well as aiding, in assisting others to find themselves, to fill their purposes, to acquire real desires, aims, that are constructive in their material, physical, mental and spiritual lives.

7. No matter how valid, how well, how good a condition may be, there must be on the part of self the desire and the WILL to fill, to find, to do that which WILL enable self to be aroused to that ability of being a channel of blessing to

someone.

8. That is the purpose for which the Creator has brought each individual into being, that they - through their ability to serve - may be a fit companion in those realms, those glories He would have them share. Hence, the decision is in self.

9. The field is truly ripe, the harvest is nigh. Will ye be a laborer in that vineyard, and fill, and give, and aid self AND others? for in our approach to the Throne of grace it will be leaning upon the arm of someone we have attempted, sincerely, to serve and aid.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) Am I suited to take charge of the New York contacts of the Work? (A) That will be decided in self from just what has been given. There are in self's experience those conditions that must be met. Will ye enter in? Is self ready? Is self willing to pay the price? To be sure, problems WILL arise; yet in service that makes for the INNER development comes those promises as of old, "Will ye be my people, I will be your God." Look not back, but press onward.

12. (Q) How should I proceed to carry out the directions already given as to the group work in New York? [See [254] series, etc.] (A) Proceed to organize it in the manner that is consistent, and that all things be done consistently, persistently, in decency, in order.

13. (Q) Please tell us where the meeting place or office should be? (A) In a convenient place for the city and the SURROUNDING environs; conducted in a manner that is in keeping with the purposes, the aims that are desired to be accomplished by those banded together as an Association to further, to give out, to aid, to help others. In a CONVENIENT place, yet done in a manner that is in keeping with that which is to be accomplished. First, as given, satisfy self of the ability of the source to supply aid to others or to give that which is being sought. As recognized, there is a change desired, a change being sought in every direction. From what? For what? The SOURCES of spiritual life, hope, understanding, have failed

in many a quarter. Then, assist those that seek and that may - through the UNDERSTANDING of self - know MORE of THEIR relationship to that Ideal that may make them one with the Creative Forces. Does this channel offer such an opportunity? Then be willing to serve; knowing that, as given of old, "I will know no other God than the ONE Lord, and HIM I will serve!" "Know, O Israel, the Lord thy God is ONE!" When individuals, then, allow themselves to be led astray, even as self experienced as Asimee-n in the Atlantean land, they that would laud self in any phase of human endeavor or place aught before the service to the Maker, they are losing the way. What is placing aught? What is the service? Love the Lord, eschew evil, do good to thy fellow man; this is the whole law. THAT keep as thy motto, and gain the place that thou once held in the affairs of the sons of God!

14. (Q) Is my idea of a studio advisable? (A) Well! It should be in an accessible location, and in such a manner conducted as to be at all times conducive to the ideals that are set by the work which is being presented.

15. (Q) Please advise best location for the studio. (A) In any CONVENIENT center to the whole of the environ to be aided or served in THIS particular office.

16. (Q) When should the arrangements be started? (A) Does it seemeth good? Then, WHEN should one do good?

17. (Q) Who should be consulted in New York regarding this arrangement? (A) Those who have been and are the members, and those who have a vision, an ideal, and find in the tenets or the ideals that which answers, will contribute to the various phases of such an undertaking. A large job, yes! but a joyous, LOVEABLE one, provided the Spirit guides; and let this be ever before thee: If His presence abides not in each approach, may it not be lifted up nor exalted in any manner!

18. (Q) Please list names. (A) Read the roster!

19. (Q) Are there any special ones who are not members that would be well to see? (A) In him that is called does He create the desire and aid. These will be attracted when there is something to be

2733-2 Page 4

attracted TO, and that is attractive in that it offers, it performs and it serves. "By their fruits ye shall know them."

20. (Q) Who can be approached for financial advice and assistance? (A) EACH MEMBER! Let him that hath give, and he that hath not give the more!

21. (Q) Should a charter group be organized to take entire charge of the financial arrangements for this office? (A) Depends upon what is to be termed a charter group. There are those that hold official capacities with the material organization. These, to be sure, should be consulted first, and should be consultants to those that aid, so long as they fill that office that is in keeping with the purposes, the aims. Who is to judge? "By their fruits ye shall know them!"

22. (Q) Should I work on a salary or commission basis? (A) There should be the guarantee as salary sufficient for the taking care of all needs, and then cooperative.

23. (Q) What name would be most harmonious for me in this work? (A) Pray three consecutive days, or nights. On the fourth day there will be given thee that ye shall use.

24. (Q) Any more definite suggestions for the location of the office or studio? (A) It should be, to be sure, in that portion where the surroundings are NOT combative with, nor out of keeping with, that which would be carried on. Any! Choose that; for there may be, in not such a distant future, the whole building!

25. (Q) Any further advice for this body regarding any phase? (A) BEGIN! COMMENCE! And do the first things first; and as each step is taken - REMEMBER, "If ye will be my people, I will be your God." If the Lord is on THY side, who can prevail against thee?

26. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " File " " Mr. [334] " " David E. Kahn
