1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions concerning which the body should take precautions. For, unless there is the removal of the causes of these, there may be brought about a great deal of disturbance that would become rather serious - as it would grow into a constitutional disturbance.
4. This in the present, as we find, is rather of a complication, but giving the greater effect through the activities to the lungs, the liver and the kidneys - as it arises first from an unbalanced chemical condition that exists in the digestive forces.
5. Then, with the activities that affected the lymph circulation, the pleural cavity - or the pleura AND the cavity - became involved.
6. To be sure, these have in a manner been allayed. The disturbance is rather that the condition IS only allayed, without removing the sources or the causes of same. Thus the involvement of the liver AND the kidneys, FROM even the application of some of those remedies for the pleural disturbance.
7. Thus, while from the outward appearance the body is apparently robust, there IS the lack in the circulation of those vital energies that supply sufficient in the lymph and the emunctory activities of the leucocytes to ward off the destructive forces that form through this disturbing activity in the circulation of the lungs, the liver AND the kidneys. And these are the natures, or the sources where a disturbing
2737-1 Page 2
condition of the nature might become critical in producing destructive forces hard to combat in the body.
8. The effects are at times general weakness through the system, languidness, those periods when the nights are disturbed by the imaginative forces, or such anxieties that prevent a normal rest or normal recuperation from such periods. And these naturally weaken the resistances in the system. Not that there are in the present particularly active influences in the lung tissue itself. For, as indicated, it is more of the covering or the pleura that is at present involved, from adhesions.
9. This causes acute depression at times through a portion of the lungs. At times it causes the respiratory system and the heart's activity to become so quickened as to make - at night, or when resting - sudden flushes, when the body MUST move, must change from some position or activity. This involves the diet, or the diet's ability to be assimilated properly.
10. This causes the nervous indigestion, then, through such periods; and the inactivity or overactivity of the kidneys (for both occur) produces the tendencies for the LACK of proper elimination of ALL the uric forces or uric acid from the system. THIS causes acute conditions to come in the locomotory centers, in portions of the body at various times; requiring that there be some flushing of the system.
11. But, as has first been indicated, this leaves an unbalanced condition through the body-forces themselves.
12. In making suggestions for applications that may bring normal reactions for this body - first, as we find, it would be necessary to assist the organs' functioning to correct these unbalanced conditions in the chemical forces of the body.
13. There is a lack of those acids in the lower portion of the digestive system. There is a lack of the combinations of calcium. These should be altered.
14. We would take these in those forms and manners that will the more easily assimilate with the activities of the present condition. For, the body does not need disturbing forces but that which aids in creating harmony in the coordinating forces of both the superficial and the central circulation as related both to the blood supply AND nerve energies.
15. Begin, then, by taking CALCIOS; every other day the amount as would be lightly spread on a whole wheat wafer. This is a combination that would be spread on in such a manner, as would butter. Calcium in this form (CALCIOS), for the present conditions of the body, may be the more
2737-1 Page 3
easily assimilated.
16. EVERY day take half a teaspoonful of ACIGEST stirred in a glass of raw milk. Do not attempt to take it in that which has been pasteurized. It would be stirred into the milk about five minutes before it is to be taken. Preferably take this, the Acigest, at the evening meal.
17. Also every day we would take gelatin as an aid to the quick pick-up for energy, aiding the system - from the assimilation of this, with the chemical changes in the body - in creating those activities through the assimilating and glandular force for the energies that create corpuscle tissue in body. This we would take about a third of a teaspoonful [Knox Gelatine] stirred in a glass of COLD water - each day. If this is taken around two or three o'clock in the afternoon it will aid the more.
18. Occasionally - not too often, but extending along rather in a series - we would have the gentle osteopathic adjustments. These would be to aid the ganglia along the nervous system to enable the body to distribute energies properly. These would be specifically in the upper cervicals, or to the 5th and 6th cervical, through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, 9th dorsal and the lumbar axis.
19. Give these about once a week until ten or twelve have been taken (with the other applications as suggested being carried out). Then twice a month or once every other week should be sufficient. THESE we would have preferably by Irvin.
20. Do these, and we will eradicate the sources of this disturbance.
21. And be precautious as to the diet. Keep the diet rather in these directions - not that these would be all the foods taken, of course, but let these be rather as the basis of the diet:
22. Not too much sugars, to be sure, but at certain periods - say once or twice a month - eat some good chocolate. This adds energies and carbohydrates in a manner that is well.
23. Fish, fowl and lamb should be the principal flesh foods. These should never be fried.
24. Have citrus fruits AND plenty of whole grain cereals, though do not take these at the same meal. The combinations of wheat and barley cereals, dry or cooked, and whole oats, - these carry those elements that have been lacking and that will be stored or energized to activity in the system by the balance created in the chemical forces.
25. Do not take a portion of these suggestions and not all of them as directed.
26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) Is the Theelin, which has been prescribed for me, sufficient to clear up the pelvic condition - that is, normalize the menstrual flow - or what further would you advise? (A) These conditions are taken into consideration with those suggestions indicated. This disturbance in the flow arises from this unbalanced condition in the circulation. With the balancing of chemical forces, and the osteopathic corrections, we find that the condition should be corrected. For, remember, we have suggested osteopathic corrections in the 9th dorsal and through the lumbar and sacral axis, see? and these will aid in correcting the condition.
28. (Q) Should I take the Theelin, or not? (A) This will NOT be necessary, if the other things are done as we have indicated. Be well to use the douches occasionally - using a little Atomidine - fifteen drops of Atomidine to a quart and a half of water, body-temperature. Use only in a Fountain Syringe. This will aid in purifying or clarifying the discharges that have at times disturbed the body.
29. (Q) What causes the trouble with the breathing? (A) Read what has been indicated. This is from the adherence of the pleura to the walls of the body. This will be relieved not only by the change in the vibrations of the body but by the stimulated circulation.
30. (Q) As I am planning to move to California, in which part of San Francisco or Oakland would it be best for me to live? (A) In the southwest portion of Oakland.
31. (Q) Does the pyorrhea condition for which I have been treated still exist; if so, what treatment is advised? (A) Use Ipsab if you would keep this down, for these are of such natures that the general condition of the body has contributed to the ability of this bacilli to attack those portions of the body. But Ipsab used three to four times a week should keep this down. Just put on a little tuft of cotton and massage the gums, inside and out. Then rinse the mouth with a little of it. For, the chemical changes are needed, as well as the destruction of the bacilli of pyorrhea, or Riggs' Disease.
32. (Q) Is the bottle of Ipsab I have in my hand prepared correctly? (A) Prepared correctly.
33. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these, if we would have the better conditions.
34. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
