Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2759].

3. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions which might become rather serious; though measures may be taken in the present to correct those tendencies which exist in the disturbing influences in this body.

4. The basic causes or sources of the disturbance, we find, arise from what was considered, when the body was quite young, just one of the children's diseases.

5. This condition left in the body a tendency or an inclination in the lymph circulation that has caused and does cause a form of congestion that is catarrhal in its nature, which continues to move through various portions of the activities in the body.

6. It has produced, then, something of a complex nature, though, as we find, affecting varied conditions, organisms or systems in its action.

7. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2759] we are speaking of, present in this room:

8. In the blood supply - while most of the tests that might be made would indicate negative reactions - there ARE those conditions in which there is a lack, at varied times, of the proper distribution of the leucocyte and white blood cells through the body.

9. Thus we find those periods when portions of the body are irritated in the form of a rash, or an irritation under the skin, as well as those effects produced in the lungs, the liver, and the organs of the pelvis.

10. These are natural sources where there needs to be the proper coagulation or balance in the activities of the body

2759-1 Page 2

as related to the normal functionings; or periods when there is the overexertion or a form of cold, or congestion, from an unbalanced condition in the chemical forces of the system, there may be produced an excess of acidity or any condition of such nature.

11. THEN some or all of these portions suffer from those reactions, though the basis or source of these is that irritation which has left in the system the tendencies for that in the circulation and in the lymph to become irritated - by that form of congestion indicated.

12. In the nerve system - while the circulatory system is the greater involved - the effect is to bring a fagging, or for the body to become easily tired, with forms of headache, bearing down pains through portions of the abdominal area, across the small of the back, or pains through portions of the lungs and throat and nasal passages. In all these areas there is a nervous tension, and at times there may be caused nervous indigestions; keeping the body at a high nervous tension.

13. Then, the effect upon the organs themselves of the body:

14. As we find, there may be said to be little or no organic disturbance. To be sure, the functioning of organs becomes involved, and may eventually produce organic trouble when there is not sufficient balance kept for the body to increase its supply of nerve energies - or resistances. For, to be sure, the body-functioning, the glandular force, supplied to the era of a life's span by consistently supplying energies over and above sufficient for general activity. But with tendencies and inclinations existent here, constitutional disturbances arise. These may bring almost ANY form of disturbance; either a throat or lung disturbance, or a liver and kidney disturbance - as from its activity, or a disturbance in the pelvic organs as to form the lack of ability for gestation or activity through the system - forming cohesions or adhesions that would give such repressions as to bring distresses that would be hard to cope with.

15. These in the present are only sympathetic, and are arising primarily from those disturbances which we have indicated - the effect from measles being the source.

16. Then, in making administrations that may be helpful, that will not only alleviate but aid the body in bringing about normalcy:

17. First we would begin with a colonic irrigation - to cleanse the colon from those tendencies of mucous that have gathered there, that are inclined to make for a disturbance through the assimilating system. This should be

scientifically given.

18. Immediately following the colonic - that is, on the same day - we would have a general hydrotherapy treatment, including - first - a mild sweat, this preferably in dry heat. THEN add the Fume Bath, with Witchhazel in the Fumes - a tablespoonful in two ounces of water, either in a croup cup or in an open container that would allow the vapor from steam to settle over the body, while the body is in the cabinet, to be sure.

19. Then have a thorough rubdown with a combination of oils prepared in these proportions: Peanut Oil..............1 ounce, Olive Oil...............1 ounce, Lanolin (dissolved)...1/2 teaspoonful.

20. After resting from the hydrotherapy treatment for about two days, begin then with osteopathic adjustments - by Irvin; with special reference to the lumbar axis, 9th dorsal, brachial center, and throughout the cervical area.

21. Have these twice each week in the first series of at least six such adjustments.

22. Then leave these off, rest from them for a period of two to three weeks.

23. Then have a treatment once a week, or once in ten days, for another series of some five or six adjustments; and by that time we will find better conditions for this body.

24. Then, during the three week rest period from the first series of osteopathic adjustments, have at least two of the hydrotherapy and massage again - once a week, or once in ten days.

25. The exercise of walking is the best.

26. Keep a well balanced diet, with tendencies towards keeping better eliminations through the alimentary canal.

27. Do these, if we would bring the better conditions to this body, [2759].

28. Ready for questions.

29. (Q) Are the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, spleen and female organs in good condition? (A) These are involved from those conditions which we have indicated. With the setting up of eliminations, and with the osteopathic corrections considering those specific centers suggested, we will find these conditions all on the improve.

30. (Q) What causes all the pain in upper and lower left side? (A) Congestion through a portion of the lung itself, from those conditions outlined. This is partially from the mucous in the colon, partially a reflex to the heart and to

2759-1 Page 4

the female organs, and to the pleura itself. All of these are sympathetic in their nature, NOT organic.

31. (Q) What can I do to eliminate pleurisy and cramps at period of menstruation? (A) Do those things we have indicated here, in setting up activities through the body by the correction of those subluxations and pressures, and by setting up activities to the organs through normal conditions where the congestion hinders the activity - by that tendency indicated being the source of the conditions. Do as given and we will bring better conditions for the body.

32. (Q) Please tell me how I can conceive and carry a baby and it come into the world normal? (A) By first correcting those deficiencies in the body-functionings for the proper activity, and by the placing - through nature's reaction - the organs in their correct relationship one to another. Then the natural or natal sources will be such that we will find conception and the maternity activities normal.

33. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to go to work now, in my physical condition? (A) No indeed! Not under at least six to eight to ten weeks.

34. (Q) Will I continue to menstruate when I get pregnant, or how will I know when I'm pregnant? (A) This will be the natural movement that occurs, which will give indication of the nature. There will NOT be the continuation of menstruation.

35. (Q) Is it indicated that I will need another major operation? (A) Had these conditions as we have indicated been taken into consideration, there would never have been the necessity for an operation! We do not find the necessity for another operation, if these applications are followed in the way and manner indicated. Keep in that attitude, mentally and spiritually, of allowing self to be creative in thought, as a purposeful glory to God.
