1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2765].
3. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions. In the present these are somewhat of a complex nature. And unless measures are taken for corrections, these may bring about conditions hard to deal with, in the present experience. For, these have to do with the general chemical conditions of the body, as well as the organic reactions in the physical forces of the body.
4. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [2765] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates that there are hindrances in the proper eliminations; thus causing a form of toxic reaction. This is not only affecting the activities in the knees and the feet at times, but also it is altering the circulation between the liver, the lungs, the heart and the kidneys - as to cause some change in the vibrations or activities in the organs themselves as related to their ability to function under the pressures produced.
6. This would indicate an abundance, or an overabundance, of blood supply being gathered in one or more of the organs at times. Thus there is quite an alteration in the blood pressure; at times above, at times near normal, at others below. Yet the disturbances are indicated by the variations in the activity of the organs themselves.
7. In the nervous system - the natural tendency for the affectation to the central conditions - as in the extremities, the hands, the arms, and other portions of the body - as the throat at times - causes irritation, or nerve tension.

8. Hence we find these in the nerve forces are the result of pressures in the circulation of the body.
9. As to the organs themselves - owing to the pressures, - we find that the lungs, the heart, the liver and the kidneys are affected. These are sympathetic in nature in the present, but tending towards organic disturbance. While they are functional in the main, there are those tendencies for these to become static in either of these organs.
10. Then, in making application of those things as would be most beneficial:
11. First - we find that there must be the consideration of the diet; as well as relieving the poisons in the system without causing a segregation or a settling of organic tendencies in any one portion of the body. For, each of these organs has its own vibratory rate, as well as its coordinating rate with the other organs of the central system; but in the present all are involved.
12. As we find, the better manner of correcting these would be through the hydrotherapy measures. This would include first a light sweat. Be mindful of the heart's activity. Hence this should be given preferably as a fume bath, rather than dry heat. In the vapor bath put two teaspoonsful of Withchhazel in the pint of water boiling in the cabinet so that the fumes settle over the body.
13. Following the fume bath there should be a tepid bath. To thirty or forty gallons of water in the bath, put about a pint of Pine Oil. This would be the better in the beginning.
14. Then there would be a Swedish massage following the tepid bath. And stimulate especially those areas between the shoulders, across the 9th dorsal, and at the lumbar axis.
15. Have such a general hydrotherapy treatment once a week until at least six or eight have been taken.
16. During the six-week period it may be well to have two colonic irrigations, but these should be given in a scientific manner. For, there are those tendencies for plethora in a portion of the colon itself.
17. Then, as to the diet:
18. Keep away from meats of most every nature. Fish and fowl may be taken in moderation, but not fried; and leave off other meats.
19. At least once each day let the principal part of the meal consist of raw, fresh vegetables; including celery, lettuce, radish, carrots and the like - but all raw. These, of course, may be altered; not all at once, but some of these, or all, at least once each day.

20. Do these things, and keep the eliminations.
21. These will bring much bettered conditions.
22. As to the effectiveness - this will depend upon how thoroughly the applications are made, and upon how consistent the body is with the diet.
23. Then, the mental attitude - this becomes rather, USE the attitude, the abilities, for constructive reactions about the body. Do not find so much fault. Part of this is from the nerve tension, part from a general nature, but be a little more patient, a little more consistent; and we will find an improvement in every way.
24. Ready for questions.
25. We are through for the present. Copy to Self through Mrs. [2441] " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions for a Physiotherapist. It is important to give these treatments EXACTLY as indicated; no more, no less.) less.)
