1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. As we find, there are disturbances with this body. If these were allowed to run on, or if the body under this circumstance came in contact with certain outside influences, the body would be easily susceptible to the infections as might arise from same.
4. These are the disturbances as we find them with this body, [2766] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates a form or character of anemia, or the lack of the proper distribution in the forms of red and white and leucocyte supply; though these at times have been up or down according to the strain caused in the body.
6. The conditions from lack of building energy indicate that the vital forces are lacking, or a vitamin starvation some directions is evidenced.
7. As we find, there is the general pressure or stress as produced from certain adhesions or lesions in the body-structural force. This is more evidences from the conditions about the sac or pleura of the lungs themselves. This indicates pressures in the lower portion, where some inflammation is attending an adhesion about the capsule or the pleura itself. This is not tubercular in its nature as yet, though the body would be very susceptible to same. And any overheating, or great excitement, or great strain to the body in a physical or mental manner, might produce those conditions that would set up a general inflammation; and thus close or clog a portion of the lung itself.
8. These naturally produce a strain; headaches of certain characters, that vary according to the energies used or supplied in the needs for resuscitating forces; general

nervous debilitation, with this tired feeling; easily fagged out; shortness of breath or inability to breathe deep; the limbs especially feel as if they would drag, rather than being able to step lightly - or there is a heaviness across the lower portion of the hips.
9. All of these come from the general pressures as we find existent.
10. As indicated, the effects are in the functioning of organs, rather than there being organic conditions - as yet.
11. Thus the needs, as we find, of building the body up; as well as of relieving those tensions by the mechanical (osteopathic) adjustments.
12. We would begin, then, at once, with the osteopathic treatments; not too deep, but in the first five or six have a gentle, relaxing treatment. Irvin we would have.
13. After about five or six of the gentle relaxing treatments, make corrections of the specific nature in the dorsal area - from the 3rd to the 2nd and 3rd cervical. Make corrections there AFTER the five or six relaxing treatments; NOT before, and giving time for the body to have gained recuperation from the properties indicated as necessary for the body.
14. Begin at once, or as soon as obtainable, taking the ACIGEST; nearly a teaspoonful stirred each evening in a glass of milk - but ONLY take this in raw milk.
15. Also take CALCIOS; every other day just that amount on the tip of a knife as would be spread lightly on a whole wheat cracker. We suggest whole wheat because of its size as well as its digestibility WITH the Calcios itself.
16. Do take plenty of milk and eggs. DO NOT take malt drinks - that is, beer or whiskey or wine; though malted milk is well to be taken occasionally. Do not take carbonated drinks. Coca-Cola or the like, if it is prepared from the syrup and using plain water (not carbonated water), will be not harmful; in fact, it would be helpful for the kidneys and for the purifying of the blood flow.
17. Keep the eliminations well.
18. Eat plenty of fresh vegetables, cooked and raw. Have milk and egg at least once each day; the WHOLE of the egg, - the yolk for the digestive forces and the white for the albumin necessary in portions of the system.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) What causes the uncomfortable feeling in stomach? (A) The sympathetic condition from the taxation in lungs as well as poor assimilation. Lack of proper amount of the acids, as we have indicated to be taken for the body.
21. (Q) Are the lungs infected?
2766-1 Page 3
(A) As indicated, this is more the pleura - or those areas connected to the lungs.
22. (Q) Would liver injections be good for me? (A) Would be too hard on the body. Liver as a portion of the diet will be most beneficial; this broiled, not fried. Don't overcook it.
23. We are through for the present. Copy to Self, through sister [667] " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for Dr. C. W. Irvin, Bankers Trust Bldg., Norfolk, Va. Acigest and Calcios are distributed by: The Colloidal Health Products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, L.I. The Acigest is hydrochloric acid in a form that may be easily assimilated, and sells for $1 a bottle. Calcios is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar, and - according to the readings - is the best way to assimilate free calcium.) .)
