Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2768].
3. Now as we find, there are conditions which prevent the normal physical activities and functionings through this body.
4. These have to do with the unbalanced chemical conditions in the system, and the inability of the body to coordinate in eliminating poisons from the system.
5. Thus accumulations were caused that are gradually becoming as crystallizations; especially in the extremities, or in ankles, through the joints in the lower portion of the body, as well as the effect that this produces upon other portions of the system.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2768] we are speaking of, present in this room:
7. The blood supply indicates there having been an unbalanced condition in the chemical forces that had to do with the assimilating system, or digestive system. This as it gradually changed, caused incoordinant activity between the liver and the kidneys, and the ability of the refuse or poison to be eliminated through the alimentary canal.
8. Now, from applications that have been made from time to time, conditions are gradually growing to be more severe, - because of the crystallization of these activities in the lymph circulation, especially. And the tendons and muscles, through the very pressures of the locomotory system upon same, cause at times a great deal of pain.
9. Those palliative that have been or may be taken will not relieve, but tend to make for clogging the system and causing the greater amount of the poisons and refuse forces
2768-1 Page 2
necessary to be eliminated from the system.
10. The effect produced upon the nervous system itself depends upon how heavy has been, or becomes, this tautness created in joints and ligaments and muscular ends, as they attach - or are attached - to the various portions of the locomotory areas and centers. These would cause, then, the pressures upon the nerve system by their inability of reacting to the muscular tension through the system.
11. These, then, are those pressures that cause the pains.
12. There is - as should be understood - the circulation of the blood, the circulation of lymph and emunctory activities; that is, the soft tissues in body. In this particular case it is referred to the muscular forces - as in the hips, the knees, the ankles. As these have slowed up, those areas farther from the circulation of the heart and liver become most affected - because of the slowness of the activities.
13. This began first as a neuritic condition - then that taken - or the not producing or not having produced coordinations between the perspiratory system, the respiratory system, the kidneys and the alimentary canal, - allowed for the greater amounts of the accumulations; until it has become arthritic in its nature. Yet these effects are of quite a varying type from that in which the ends - or the hands or feet - become involved; for these have not as yet become drawn. But this will be the further advanced state, unless there are applications of such measures, or such precautions taken, that this does not occur with this body.
14. As to the effect produced upon the organs themselves of the body - we find that the nerve system has been and is involved, though it does not as yet alter the activity of the brain forces - except to make the body more susceptible to the distresses being produced in the body.
15. On the other hand, the blood stream has so absorbed the distresses - or had activities taken from same - until there is the greater deterioration in the building up, or in the keeping of the correct proportions or relationships in the circulation of the blood through lungs, heart, liver and kidneys.
16. This slowing of the circulation from the heart to the extremities has produced, and will continue to produce, with those sedatives taken, the greater strain upon the heart's activity.
17. Owing to the amount of changes and the things that have been administered in various forms here, in making applications that will be beneficial all of these things
2768-1 Page 3
must be taken into consideration.
18. Thus, it may appear that some of those things suggested for helpful influence for this body, or to remove the conditions, are of such a small nature that they would be neglected; unless there is the precaution and the persistence to do ALL of that as may be suggested.
19. In giving this treatment, then - either do it ALL, or none!
20. Then, in making the administrations, as we find:
21. First, there are periods - to be sure - when it is necessary for the body to take sedatives to rest, or to be easy. But keep as far from these as possible, or take as little of these as possible. As the sedative, use either a hypnotic or take Aspirin with Soda-Mint tablets. Do not take the Aspirin without the Soda tablets also, to relieve the pain - for it will still be painful, even in some of the administrations as we find would be necessary - if we would rid the body of the disturbance.
22. Begin with the Epsom Salts Bath at least once each week. Put the body in at least forty gallons of water, in which there would be dissolved at least fifteen to twenty pounds of Epsom Salts. Let this be as hot as the body can stand same, and let the body remain in the tub at least twenty, twenty-five, thirty to thirty-five minutes - if the body can stand it that long. Keep the head cool, by even cold water or ice packs or bags on the head. But while the body is in the bath, do massage ankles, knees and hands (and keep these in the water, or covered with the water). Keep the water as warm, or as hot as the body can well stand; letting the body remain as long as possible just so as not to weaken it too much.
23. When the body is taken from the Bath, rub off with fresh water, tepid; and then massage the limbs, the sacral area, and along the spine, with an equal combination of Olive Oil and Peanut Oil - that is, this would be the combination of oils to use following the FIRST Epsom Salts Bath, see?
24. Then let the body rest from same for at least seven days. But two days before it is time for the next Epsom Salts Bath, begin with Atomidine internally - taking two drops in half a glass of water twice a day, mornings before any meal is taken, and evenings before the body is allowed to rest - or after the evening meal.
25. Then give, on the seventh day, another Epsom Salts Bath, - after the Atomidine has been taken for two full days, see?
26. THIS time, after taking the body out of the tub, massage the muscular forces, particularly over feet, soles of feet, ankles, the muscular forces between the heel and the knee,
2768-1 Page 4
under the knee, along the sciatic nerve, across the hips and the small of the back, with a combination of oils prepared int his manner:
27. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil, add - in the order named: Peanut Oil................2 ounces, Oil of Sassafras Root...1/2 ounce, Oil of Mustard..........1/4 ounce, Oil of Pine Needles.....1/2 ounce.
28. These will tend to separate, but pour in a saucer or open container so the fingers may be dipped in same, or in a large-mouthed bottle. Be sure to shake these ingredients well together each time before using. If it burns too much, or produces irritation, then add 1/2 teaspoonful of Lanolin to the solution, see? but do not add this until the other is tested on the body.
29. Let the body rest for the period of seven days, then, before taking another Epsom Bath. But three days before the Bath is to be given - take the two drops of Atomidine in water twice a day.
30. Then take the third Epsom Salts Bath, followed by the same oil rub as used the last time.
31. After the third Epsom Salts Bath - which would make it in the fourth week, you see - we would begin using the low electrical vibrations of the Wet Cell Appliance carrying Gold into the body (in the proportions of one grain to each ounce of distilled water), to assist in eliminating, or creating those activities as the eliminations by these sweats and rubs will necessitate replacing through the activity of the nerve system itself.
32. The attachments would be made as follows:
33. The large plate, through which the Gold Solution would pass vibratorially, would be attached to the area that would be four fingers from the umbilical center, as in a direct line from same to the right of the body - and two fingers up. The small copper plate would be attached to the 4th lumbar, or the lumbar axis, see? Make the attachments for thirty minutes each day.
34. After beginning the Appliance, let at least fifteen to thirty days pass before there is the use of another Epsom Salts Bath.
35. But EACH DAY, after beginning the Appliance, let there be the rubs with the oils (the last compound indicated); and each day attach the low electrical Appliance that will aid in building up the body.
36. Change the Gold Solution every fifteen days.
37. Now, as to the diet:
2768-1 Page 5
38. Fish and fowl should be the only character of meats. No fried foods.
39. Use plenty of those foods that are easily digested.
40. Beef juice, if it is desired, may be taken. Not soup, but pure beef juice. Do not take more than a teaspoonful at a time, and this not more than three times a day; but take at least two minutes to sip even that quantity, or letting it assimilate with the juices of the mouth before it is swallowed in tiny sips.
41. Have plenty of the building foods, vegetables and the like. Have more of those vegetables that grow above the ground than those that grow under the ground - in fact, have very, very few of those growing under the ground. However, carrot juice - if the body can take it - will be well. This had best be prepared in a regular vegetable juicer and taken raw. An ounce or two ounces of this each day would not be amiss.
42. Do these - and when there is the period of beginning the next series of Baths; that is, after the Appliance has been used for thirty days, (though the body should be much improved by that time) - we would then give further instructions.
43. Do ALL indicated, if we would bring help.
44. Ready for questions.
45. (Q) Would getting away from this damp air benefit me? (A) This isn't what is causing the trouble! Of course, though, if the body desires in self, and the surroundings may be made very pleasant, it would not hurt.
46. (Q) Do I have streptococcus in blood stream? (A) No.
47. (Q) Is the catch in my right knee a muscle or bone? (A) Muscle - or tendon rather.
48. (Q) What was the cause of this trouble? (A) Read what has been given. First, there was the beginning of the unbalanced condition in the chemical forces of the assimilating or digestive system. Then the administering of those properties that became activative as sedatives in the pain produced in muscular forces, through the chest and through the side. Then, these began the slowing of the circulation - by this incoordination in the eliminating system. Do as has been given, and when ready for these changes we would give further instructions.
