Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2769].

3. As we find, there are those tendencies or inclinations that prevent the better normal functionings with this body.

4. In the present there are not organic conditions, yet we find that the manner in which the assimilations are carried on - from the lack of elements in that assimilated to prevent proper coagulation at times when injuries are produced - tends to make for an inflammatory condition or for strep tendencies in those areas through soft tissue in the body.

5. These, as we find, bring about those conditions in which there is thorough exhaustion to portions of the body.

6. Thus the activity to the circulation between the lungs, the liver, the heart and the kidneys, as of a fullness; and a form of activity that is in the nature of famishment to the muscular forces in the extremities. Even at times the torso feels full, and yet as if lacking in something.

7. These are tendencies that, unless there are changes - or measures taken to bring about a better balance in the chemical forces, through the activity of the glandular system, might produce very disturbing conditions.

8. There is a form of anemia, yet this comes from a form of impoverishment - of such natures as to manifest in the slowness of the activity of kidneys, liver, yea even the lungs, and the ability of the body to get or to have a good, deep breath at times, without feeling too great a fullness; the condition in the throat, the soreness, sticking as pins - or a fullness there. All of these effects come from this form of impoverishment.

9. Naturally the nerve system becomes involved in same, but

2769-1 Page 2

it is more the sympathetic than the cerebrospinal; although this condition produces a tendency towards tautness in the areas of the brachial center, the balanced center in the 2nd and 3rd cervical, in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and across the lower portion of the 9th dorsal and the sacral axis. Especially in the area across the lower portion of the lumbar axis will be seen or felt quite a sore place, on the left side. This brings the nervous condition, as it were, from the impoverishment produced by this glandular reaction that brings these conditions to the body.

10. We find that these may be met easily by the consistent application of that as may aid in improving the activities of the glandular forces. Not by the adding or attempting to make the chemical reactions, though this is what becomes necessary; but there is in each body, as in this body, those necessary influences to produce body-sustenance and body-rebuilding - if the activities of the glands and organs are made to coordinate.

11. First, then - we would begin with the hydrotherapy and massage; including, for this body, the Vapor Bath. This should be with the Witchhazel; at least two teaspoonsful to a pint of water. Little or no dry heat should be used to produce the sweat, but the Fume Bath.

12. Following this there should be the thorough massage (not attempting to make adjustments in the beginning), with a combination of oils in these proportions: Olive Oil........................2 ounces, Peanut Oil.......................2 ounces, Lanolin, dissolved.............1/2 teaspoonful.

13. Massage this combination of oils in all portions of the cerebrospinal system, and especially across the diaphragm area.

14. Do this at least once a week - or the first two might be taken oftener - until at least four or five of these treatments have been taken.

15. Then rest at least two or three days.

16. Then - after completing the four or five general hydrotherapy treatments as indicated (not before) - we would begin with osteopathic adjustments; with particular reference to the dorsal area - from the 3rd, 1st, 2nd and 3rd, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervicals, and then the lower portion of the 9th dorsal AND the sacral, and the lumbar axis.

17. Take several, or a series, of these treatments. Irvin should make these corrections.

18. Take a regular exercise, but this preferably in the

2769-1 Page 3

open - and that as of walking or swimming.

19. As to the diet - take plenty of those vitamin foods that carry A, D, B-1 and iron. Do not take these in concentrated form, especially in the beginning; but take them in the foods that are rich in such vitamins. An example, for instance - though these would not be ALL the foods to be taken, of course, but let these be part of the foods:

20. Each day have at least one portion of some meal be liberal with raw vegetables; either using oil or mayonnaise as the dressing for same.

21. Also each day do have at least a glass of orange juice, grapefruit juice, or a combination of orange and lemon, or grapefruit and pineapple, or the fresh grape juice - not that which has been canned, but FRESH grape juice! Alter these - not all at the same time.

22. Fish, fowl and lamb should be the principal meats.

23. Do not take pork or ham, or very much of beef; and especially not that which is not well cooked.

24. At some times with the raw foods include raw onions; not in large quantities, but some of these.

25. Do these, and we will soon find we will bring much better and near normal conditions; and we will save the body from some disturbances that might become serious.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) What should be done for burning palms and feet? (A) After the first of the massages following the Fume Bath, these will disappear - that is, after the first series, see? If there is the desire for that which will be almost a perfect skin lotion, use on same a compound prepared in this manner: Rosewater..........................2 ounces, Usoline..........................1/2 ounce, Lanolin, dissolved...............1/2 teaspoonful. Rubbing this on the hands, in the palms and on the feet will heal, and prevent the burning - or the roughness, or those tendencies for rash. For this body, this is well to be used in conjunction with the hydrotherapy and vapor bath treatment, see? but the causes are deeper-seated, and arise from the lack of coordination in the distribution of energies through the body, as indicated. Hence the osteopathic treatments also, as outlined.

2769-1 Page 4

28. (Q) What causes and what should be done for the nose stoppage? (A) This comes from those pressures in the upper portion of the cervical area. The massage will aid - but this condition will be cleared by the time the second or third osteopathic adjustment is made, AND after the diet is changed somewhat.

29. (Q) Discoloration over left shoulder, arm and upper left body? (A) This is from the condition as we have indicated. Use the massage and the character of rub that goes with same, and the lotion as indicated.

30. (Q) Calcium deficiency? (A) Calcium deficiency is not so great here that it may not be supplied by the change in the foods; especially if the orange juice and the raw foods are taken liberally each day.

31. (Q) Sleepiness? (A) This comes from the fagging of the nerves and muscular forces; and we will find there will be corrections in these directions as the general health is improved, and as this slowing of circulation to the superficial portion of body is corrected.

32. (Q) Is the recent appearance of the sleepy feeling from the same cause as that when I was 17, when I slept practically one whole summer? (A) Partially; though then it was more acute than it has reached in the present. Glandular disturbance and slowing of superficial circulation, with the lack of carrying energies to the locomotories of the body.

33. (Q) Is this akin to sleeping sickness? (A) Yes, it might be said to be a double-first cousin!

34. (Q) Why have I always been such a bleeder? [hemophiliac?] and why does the hemorrhaging usually occur about a week after an injury, instead of immediately? (A) Because of the condition we have described, as to how the lack of coagulation has been the greater portion of the disturbance. And the changed circulation, with the attempt of the body - in the activities of same, or impulses - to shield or protect same, causes the delay. But with these changes as may be wrought by the consistent use of the applications suggested, and with the proper correction in diet, we will find these will GRADUALLY change to much better conditions for the body.

35. (Q) Is there any reason from the spiritual angle why I have been denied motherhood in this incarnation? ["All female organs removed, and impossible to have a child, although there is nothing I desire more. Expect to adopt two, at the same time - boy and girl, though of different families."]

2769-1 Page 5

(A) It has been as a saving grace for the body and its purposes in this experience. For, with these conditions, the body would have been made practically an invalid - if such had been a part of the experience. With the corrections made as we have indicated, we find that the entity's purposes in this direction may yet bring blessings to self and others.
