Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Conn.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2780].

3. In giving the causes or the sources of the disturbances as we find with this body, it would be necessary to go back to those conditions which existed at the time of the body's birth - the manner of presentation and those conditions which have now produced something of a complex disturbance.

4. For, the pressures that existed from that experience, and the manner of presentation, produce now effects upon the physical - or in a pathological manner, and reflexly through the glands and the sympathetic nervous system, what may be called characteristic reactions; and a tendency for the body to build a sort of resistance or resentment within itself.

5. These, then, are the sources of the disturbances as we find with this body.

6. There are minor pressures, then, in the lumbar and sacral; yet with the developing of the body these have as a continuous pressure affected the digestive system itself.

7. Thus the inability for the body to retain or to eat normally through the periods even of this development.

8. Also it has naturally produced a form of lesion in and about those areas of the lower portion of the 9th and 10th dorsal. These deflections affect the pineal as well as the adrenals. Thus glandular conditions at times give a good deal of trouble to the body, as the body has developed in the throat, the neck, and portions of the body, as well as the conditions in the groin; pains through the limbs and feet, the affectations to the eyes.

9. All of these are outgrowths of the gentle pressures which have caused deflection in the stature development as well as complexities as combined in the mental reaction of the body to things and conditions about the body at times.

10. That there has not been a greater reaction to some of the organs is due not only to the normal development or growth, but those applications which have been made.

11. There are headaches at times, and a general "all over" feeling.

12. But keep the body away from sedatives as much as possible!

13. There will be required applications in series of osteopathic nature; and the osteopathic are preferable to chiropractic applications. Though these might be done chiropractically, we find that it would not be as effective.

14. These should be given twice to three times each week for the first series of some three to four weeks.

15. Then rest from these for a period of at least a month or six weeks. Then have another series of the same.

16. Do not change the glasses until there has been at least one of these series of the osteopathic adjustments.

17. The regular periods of exercise, the regular periods of the conversational reaction upon body development, and the periods of reaction, should be trainings by the mother - as to the ways and developments of life itself.

18. These may be assisted also by the one who makes the osteopathic adjustments for the body, if it is a sympathetic one.

19. Appetite, general growth, headaches, eyes, glandular conditions - all will respond.

20. During the second series of the osteopathic treatments (not in the first, but in the second series), make particular reference to the coccyx end of the spine.

21. These as we find, if there are at least three to four such series of the adjustments, should bring the body near to normal developments and normal reactions.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) Any special directions for the first series of adjustments? (A) As indicated - through the lumbar and sacral, up to at least the 9th dorsal; but coordinate, to be sure, the upper dorsal and cervicals with the adjustments. But begin with the adjustments in sacral and in lumbar, then coordinate - at the end of each treatment - with the upper dorsal and through the cervical.

24. (Q) What caused the depression in the chest? (A) This is from the drawings in the lumbar and sacral areas. These conditions should adjust themselves nominally, if the series are kept as indicated. Naturally it will have to be a growth or development out of these depressions; that is, to the mind as well as the body

relaxation, see? The first two or three treatments may partially upset the body, but keep them up - be persistent with them.

25. (Q) When body is nervously upset due to conditions arising from his failure to adjust himself to his companions, what would be suggested? (A) We should not have those conditions, if these adjustments are carried out as has been indicated. DO NOT give sedatives - if at all possible to keep from same. And if these are given, give a mild sedative - as Aspirin, but do not give it without the Soda-Mint tablets with same.

26. (Q) When it is time to procure new glasses, would it be desirable to return to the same eye doctor to have the new ones fitted, or would a change be desirable? (A) We would suggest the same, for this will be a very good way to indicate the improvements that will have been made by the adjustments, see?

27. (Q) Are there any suggestions as to diet? (A) Get him to eat whatever you can, but keep plenty of Vitamin B; that is, not in concentrated form as in tablet or capsule, but in the foods - that is, plenty of every sort of yellow food, including fruits as well as vegetables, and plenty of whole grain cereals whether cooked or dry.

28. (Q) Is nervous condition from pressures? (A) Just read what has been indicated. All of these arise, even the developments in the structural portion, as well as the complexities in the mental reaction, from the pressures indicated. And these cause the nervous conditions, to be sure.
