Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Conn.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with further suggestions for corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. As we find, there are real improvements in the general physical forces of the body.

4. To be sure, with the adjusting of the body-functionings to what might be called new environs for the activity of the impulse for growth, development and life, these at times revert - and cause some uneasiness or anxiety.

5. But there should be kept that mental attitude which has been and is a part of the experience in the expectancies of the body.

6. And, now, just sufficient of the corrective measures, mechanically given by the osteopath, to keep those centers along the spine in their correct coordination. Once in ten days should be sufficient, if there is the thorough relaxing of the body at such times.

7. Keep the diets and the regular activities of the body, and we should continue on the improve.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Can the depression in the chest ever be completely eliminated? (A) This must be more of a growth. As just indicated, the unfoldment or growth as from new environs of those areas where deflections have caused depressions has caused the deflection of the flow of impulses and activities. These will gradually grow to be nearer to normal activities. Thus the injunction as given, to occasionally have sufficient of the mechanical adjustments to keep these tendencies in the correct direction.

10. (Q) Is there a kidney or bladder weakness that necessitates getting up at night? (A) There has been rather the inclination for the eliminating channels to eliminate the poisons or excesses in the system. These are tendencies, but as we find are not weaknesses. These may be clarified by taking a drink such

as Coca Cola occasionally, but this made with plain water - for the body - rather than carbonated water. Or, once in two to three weeks a lithia tablet in the water will prevent any sediment from such activities causing distresses or weaknesses in these directions. This again shows the necessity of having occasionally the adjustments to prevent any of the centers or ganglia along the cerebrospinal system from becoming clogged or nonactive, thus allowing some functioning of the organs to become clogged by their non-activity through lack of impulse or coordination with other portions of body.

11. (Q) What is the condition of the eyes now? (A) As we find, improvements.

12. (Q) Is the continued clearing of the throat due to an irritation, or is it an indication of a nervous condition still present? (A) More of a nervous condition. This, too, will pass away - as it does at times when the body is really interested. Here again are impulses that need to be cared for through the occasional correcting of any tendencies for the lesions, or even tautness, in areas along the spinal area.

13. (Q) Would it be helpful to take some preparation such as cod liver oil, iron, or vitamins, to aid further development? (A) These are best taken in the regular diet, if there is supplied sufficient of those foods needed. If some good whole grain cereal is taken each day, or any such activity, it should supply sufficient. This, combined with the yolk of an egg each day, should supply sufficient, and be much better assimilated by the body than being reinforced from vitamins. If the body desires, or those about it desire to reinforce the diet to hurry it along - though you may be doing the body an injustice - give, for this body, the Vims - as the iron and such vitamin combinations.

14. (Q) Any further suggestions, either as to diet or any other treatment? (A) Do as given, for the better conditions of the body.
