1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving the time, the place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '40 - lot of anxiety - '32 - yes - a change - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we are given the records here of that entity now known as or called [2786].
4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these we choose from same with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this material sojourn.
5. This entity - as each entity - should realize that the awareness of self in a material world is, and should be, the recognition in self that the Creative Force or God is aware of the entity, and of the entity's needs; that it may be one with Him.
6. Thus the experiences in the earth are the opportunities for the soul-entity to prepare, or to meet those conditions necessary, that it may be one with that Creative Force.
7. Each entity is aware that there are urges latent and manifested, abilities, faults, failures, virtues.
8. And the problems in meeting the failures, and applying self in such manners as to be worthy of considerations in the Creative Influence, again are purposes in the experience of an entity.
2786-1 Page 2
9. From the astrological aspects (so-called), we find these as latent and manifested urges:
10. We find in Mercury the high mental abilities, the abilities in those forces having to do with individuals in high places, in authority in one direction or another; those that may aid in formulating the policies for groups or for those that are in authority. These are the character of influences that become a part of this entity's experience.
11. Hence much is expected, much is required of the entity - as to how it uses or applies its talents in this material world.
12. In Jupiter we find also an influence of a universal nature. Thus those things that have to do with masses, that would have an influence in the experience of masses, become a part of the entity - and the outlet for expressions in the activities of the entity.
13. From Uranus and Neptune we find those influences having to do with the unusual or the mystical, and the occult and mystical also become a part of the entity's activity. Do not confuse the two. For, in the occult it may be in the extremes; while in the mystical will become more of that having to do - when materialized - with things pertaining to symbols or signs, or both symbols and signs, and things over water or upon water as a part of the experience.
14. Travel should be a portion of the activities, as well as the abilities not only to speak of and with groups or individuals but to write respecting same should be a part of the activities - that are as latent influences for this entity.
15. Also those things that are of great value of a material nature are a part of the experience.
16. Hence as we find, from its application in the material plane, the entity is endowed with those abilities as a leader, a director for groups and masses; and yet this may oft be individual in its application.
17. As to the appearances of the entity in the earth - we find these expressions rather in the characteristics of the entity, the manners in which it approaches or responds to those influences about it.
18. Oft the entity is termed one that will have its way, or else! This may be well, provided the entity has based and does base its activity upon a universal consciousness, or that as may arise from the spiritual motives that are creative in their natures.
19. Also we find, as it brings those activities in which there are dealings with others, others naturally become more or less confidential with the entity; yet the entity holds
2786-1 Page 3
itself in almost the reverse position with others.
20. As to the appearances, then - not all may be indicated, but those that find an expression, or a means of activity in the present:
21. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those early settlings and activities in the land; when there were those changes that brought about the distributing of the efforts.
22. The entity was among those early settlers, being enabled to have a choice in those settlings, by the grants indicated by the early activities.
23. Thus the entity naturally was in a position that aided or directed in the choice of those overtures to the varied lands.
24. Then in the name Lucy Pinckney, the entity was among those who directed much that had to do with the early political life, the political associations, in that particular period or era of activity.
25. The entity gained, for it kept counsel with the better influences, or creative influences; bringing into the experience many of those things that had to do with the creating of better influences and better surroundings for all types or classes of individuals through that early period of the land's activity.
26. These brought the ability as a leader, as a director, in the present; the ability to keep its counsel and to guide or counsel well with others.
27. Before that the entity was in the English land, in those periods when there were the Crusades; when there were choices made by the groups or leaders that made activities which brought the varied concepts of the purposes for which the crusades were launched in those various portions of the land at varied periods.
28. The entity was among those put in authority with the great numbers of people who were called from the land in that period.
29. Thus again we find that the entity was one to whom whole cities and whole counties, or whole shires, looked for authority as to the manner of conducting those activities through the periods.
30. Thus we find again those influences latent and manifested in which the entity has the abilities to direct those who would choose their varied types of activity. Thus a portion of the entity's experience should be devoted to counseling with, or the directing of, varied groups or individuals as to their life's work.
31. These were a part of the experience of the entity in
2786-1 Page 4
that period when Bruce led his peoples to the service.
32. Then in the name Alva Derringor, the entity gained, lost and gained; gained when there were those activities kept that made for the greater consideration of the groups and masses; lost when there was the indulgence in the satisfying or gratifying of self's own interests.
33. These may become stumblingblocks in the entity's experience even in the present. Look to that which is an ideal, and be sure it is founded in that of spiritual import. For, every fact has its inception in spirit; mind is the builder, the material expression is the outcome of one of these upon the other. The spirit is of creation, or God; the mind is as of an individual taking hold upon both materiality and spirituality. The choice is in the hands of the individual. Use thy talents well.
34. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, when there were those periods in which groups of individuals were appointed as leaders or directors in the Palestine land.
35. The entity, coming under the influence of those who had been in authority as to the teachings of the Nazarene, sought counsel respecting same from those - or especially that entity then known as Cornelius.
36. Thus we find the entity embraced those tenets and teachings; and interest was indicated in the activities in Rome, even during those periods before there were the persecutions of the followers of the disciples that became a part of the activity there.
37. Thus we find the entity's present interest in things pertaining to the spiritual life of groups as well as of individuals in authority, as well as its interest in those of no estate, as well as those who may be called of the middle class. These all bring opportunities to the entity in the present. For, those associations in that period bring the entity's present abilities to work with EVERY class of individual.
38. The name then was Pergola. It may be said that it was the greater period of development for the entity through the material experiences. Not only was the entity considered as among those of the faith, as a help, as an aid; yet was able to keep in associations with those in political powers and places so as to keep much intact for those who would become as spreaders of the faith through that period.
39. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were those reconstructions, after there had been the banishment of the Priest and those activities which arose through the various rebellions, the entrance of the Atlanteans, and then the periods of united
2786-1 Page 5
effort when the Priest again was put in authority in the spiritual activities.
40. There the entity aided in assisting individuals to choose their activities. Hence, as a director in places where vocational guidance is needed for its own sex as well as others, the entity may in the present be of the greater help - as it was through those experiences; in aiding those of all classes to be directed so as to bring the greater understanding in the social, the spiritual and the material laws during that experience.
41. The name then was Is-Ar-El.
42. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
43. First, find thyself. Know thy ideal - spiritually, mentally, materially. Know the author of thy faith, and that He is able to keep that as may be committed unto Him against ANY experience.
44. Ye learned such a lesson well in thy activity in Rome, as well as in Palestine. Learn same in the present, and apply thy talents, thy abilities, in the encouragement to those who are seeking to find their way, their place, in their relationships in this material world; knowing - as ye well understand - "Inasmuch as ye do unto the least of thy brethren, ye do unto thy Maker."
45. Study to show thyself, then, approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, but rightly emphasizing that necessary in the experience of each soul, each individual.
46. Know thyself and thy relationship to thy Maker; and in those channels where ye may direct those who are seeking to know more of that as a vocation, as a direction; and as ye come in contact with those who are in authority in the local, state or national activities, spread that gospel as ye learned at the behest of Cornelius.
47. The law of the Lord IS perfect; it converteth the soul. While the experience in an individual life may be much, it is only as a moment in eternity. And the soul lives on.
48. Thou hast been given opportunities. EMBRACE them, for His name's sake; that thy name may be written in the book in heaven.
49. Ready for questions.
50. (Q) What was my association with my brother, [...], in past incarnations and what are the urges from these associations in the present? (A) In the English land do we find the closer association. There as companions, or as workers together for a cause; he as a director in the efforts outside the land, and ye remaining as a director for those activities in the land.
2786-1 Page 6
In the present we find differences as arise, and yet a unison of purpose; though disputes or disagreements as come. Know in what and where ye need to put the stress - in the spiritual and mental application of the law of the Lord.
51. (Q) Is there any possibility of me meeting [...], my brother, again in this life? (A) There is a possibility of the meeting again in this life.
52. (Q) What may I do, or where could I go, to meet my brother again? (A) The greater or the better place, as we find, would be in Washington.
53. (Q) What have been my past associations with my present husband? Please explain the urges which have produced the difficult situation existing between us in the present. (A) In the Roman experience we find that differences arose between the activities, or because of the contributions the entity made to the activities of the saints - as they were called, and are still called. Here we find such problems and such questions arising as to the differences of opinions; for there the associations were much the same as in the present. These MAY be overcome. They have not been completed in the present, however, and there ARE problems yet to be worked out.
54. (Q) Please give me counsel and guidance in finding happiness and release from this situation related to my husband. (A) It may be found best in thine attempt, as then, to be helpful to others; not that this should be as in defiance, but as to the GLORY of the faith in Him, in God. Aid to others brings release, brings peace, brings harmony. For, remember, as His promises were then, as they are today; "My peace I give you, my peace I leave with you; not as the world knoweth peace," not of ease, but rather that as of the conviction within self that "Others may do as they may, but as for me, I will serve the living God." That is the ONLY means, the only outlet, that releases binding forces. For, the TRUTH shall make you free, and ye shall be free indeed!
55. (Q) What suggestion and advice may be given me at this time regarding the advisability of another marriage? (A) This as we find may come about in a year or two, but
2786-1 Page 7
remember - as has been given - with the present companion it has not been finished as yet. There MUST be the more perfect understanding, before there is the full release. [See 2786-1, Par. R1.]
56. (Q) Considering the financial difficulties involved in my present situation, what steps should I take to insure security for my family and myself? (A) Study to show thyself approved first unto God. He knoweth what thou hast need of. Do as ye would be done by. This is the greatest assurance. Not that ye do not meet material needs with material conditions. For, rendering unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's, is a part of the material law, the material experience. But these will be assurances, if thy purpose, if thy desire, if thy hope is in the things of the Lord.
57. (Q) What have been the past associations with my son [...] and when will I see him again in this experience? (A) As we find, the closer association with [...] was in the Egyptian land, when He was called or sent away - and then came again. He will come again into thine experience here.
58. (Q) Is it indicated that my daughter [...] will marry soon? (A) We don't find it indicated in this present year; though it may be in late part of the year. Let that light as kept thee in thy abilities to counsel well with those in high places be thy guiding force in the present. This will bring thee safe along the way.
