1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane; giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '38 - changes in the environs - '28 - anxieties - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [2788].
4. In giving the interpretation of the records, we only give same in the vein in which it is sought. Yet these interpretations are chosen from the records, as we find, with the desire and purpose that such information may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthat purpose for which it chose an entrance into the material plane at this time.
5. The associations and activities are never by chance, though oft individuals apparently boast of same as being circumstance. Yet these are definite patterns, when analyzed in the light of what an entity has done or may do with the abilities arising from latent and manifested urges in the characteristics and personalities of an entity.
6. The characteristics arise from the activities, as may be termed, in the interims between the earthly sojourns; while the personalities arise more from the application of self in the experiences or sojourns under varied environs in the earth.
7. These influences all become a pattern, or a part, of the individual entity.
8. For this entity we find these as characteristics - as a
2788-1 Page 2
combination or a composite of the material sojourns as applied or "laid over" and the astrological or interim sojourns:
9. One that oft is very self-sufficient; inclined at times to be cynical, or needing the proof of this or that. Some of these urges have been met in the experience. It is well that an individual think well of himself and his abilities, but this may be overdone and may at times cause activities in the associations when there is a doubting, or - because of cynicism - the causing of fears, somewhat, as to the abilities or the true state of the condition in the experience of the entity.
10. That this entity has a sense of humor has oft been a saving grace, in not only this experience but in others. And this brings about those abilities that are worth while, if they are applied in the present experience.
11. Astrologically, we find these as the latent or the dream urges:
12. In Mercury there are the high mental abilities; the student as well as one who analyzes conditions, circumstances, individuals and things. All of these have a part in the experience of the entity.
13. The entity seeks to know first causes. Remember, these arise from spiritual concepts. For, it is first in spirit, then in mind, then the material manifestation; whether this is association with individuals or things, or whether it has to do with universal activity as in the nature of things. For, it is the purpose with which individual man makes application to the things about him, that brings about the physical or material result. "With what spirit, with what purpose, do ye these things?"
14. We find in Jupiter the universal consciousness, as well as the wit or humor. Thus the ability for the entity to laugh often is well. Cultivate same; and especially in thy activity As ye compile or combine those things in which there may be the greater outlet for the individual entity's activity and its contribution for better welfare in this material plane - as of keeping records, as of compiling statistics, as of making formulas for the preservation of this or that in nature's activities; the combining of elements in the various ways that supply nutriment to growing things - whether in nature, in trees, in shrubbery, plants, or the growing of the human endeavor in children, and the supplying of needs to individual activities.
15. This is a universal consciousness, and an element in which the entity may make the application of self for the greater material changes, as well as the fulfilling of those
2788-1 Page 3
purposes for which it chose to enter this particular sojourn - or at this particular period.
16. Thus there may be the making for security, not only in the consciousness of individuals but in groups or masses, or states or nations. For, a formula or a purpose must work as well for the individual as for the group or for the masses.
17. In Venus we find the love, the sympathetic nature of the individual entity; the ability to shed friendship upon others, and desiring same in the experience of others in its relationship with self. This is well. For, if one would have friends, one must show self friendly. If one would have that which is truth, one must manifest truth in the own experience. If one would have that which is secure, one must make for that security in the experiences of others. For, inasmuch as ye do it unto the least, ye do it unto thy Maker.
18. As to the appearances in the earth - not all are given, but these that have the greater bearing or influence upon the entity in the present environ:
19. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity; during those periods of the early settlings in the land then known as Fort Dearborn.
20. There the entity was a dealer in grains, skins, and supplies to the peoples and natives, as well as the dwellers in that particular environ.
21. With the necessity for the abandoning of much of the activities in the Fort, the entity journeyed south, - through and across the Ohio into the lands down below. And these brought the desire, the purposes that are being manifested in the present experience of communing the closer with nature.
22. Yet the formulas for others as to the experience of self may prove to be the greater outlet and channel for the entity's present activity.
23. The name then was Herschel Hirsch. The entity gained, especially through the latter portion of its application in those experiences; bringing about helpful forces in the relationships with many.
24. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, in those periods when there were the great expansions in other places or kingdoms, other nations, when other peoples came under the direction of the Roman empire.
25. The entity was particularly active in those phases of supplying foods and nature's storehouse from the northern portion of Egypt.
26. These brought about the means or ways of exchange, and the abilities of the entity to meet the activities in
2788-1 Page 4
various characters of groups brought about a period of development for the entity; losing only when these were turned into the cynical expression, or the attitude of questioning why there should be done so much for others because of their being in authority.
27. This brings the experience or the feelings at times of cynicism in the entity, that of a questioning as to those who are in authority. Know, no individual is in any place or position save by the grace of God; that the individual or group may have the opportunity to use that which has been builded in the experience - and it is done unto weal or woe, according to the choice made by such entities, such groups, such individuals.
28. So within thine own self judge ye not of others, lest ye be also judged likewise.
29. Rather keep thine own skirts clean, knowing that in Him ye live and move and have thy being; as does each soul as it manifests in the earth.
30. Who is to judge his brother?
31. In that experience the entity was in the name Buelhar. There came some doubts and fears in the latter period of that sojourn. And these the entity must meet in the present, in relationships with conditions and surroundings.
32. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, during those periods when there was established, in the "city in the hills and plains," a place of meeting, or of exchange.
33. The entity then was among those peoples of the Indian land, or the land of Said, where there had been built up a means or manners of exchange.
34. The studies of the stars, of the sands, of nature, the expressions of nature, were a part of the experience, as well as a merchant who sent its varied groups from one land to another.
35. These brought into the entity's experience a wide scope as to the needs of the supply of individuals and groups in various lands.
36. These become a part, or an innate nature or study of the entity in the present. And those abilities to supply information of a helpful nature upon the products of the soul, as well as the necessities of various groups, may be the outlet for the entity in the present.
37. The name then was Sauiel.
38. Before that the entity was in the Atlantean land, when there were those necessities of the various groups to leave the land.
39. The entity was among the children of the Law of One.
2788-1 Page 5
Eventually the entity came into the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were the reestablishings of the activities of the Priest, the coalition of the activities of the peoples from the Atlantean land as well as the Natives of the period; when the great expansion was being made by the preparations of various natures and characters.
40. The entity was the student of the soil; not pertaining to nature's storehouse but rather of that which might be obtained as the supply of foods and raiment, the activities of that nature, or of vegetation; not only pertaining to food but that necessary for cloth, for paper, and for the supplying of things of those natures.
41. Such activities in the present experience of the entity may bring the greater helpful force.
42. The name then was Teu-La.
43. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
44. Keep thy humor. Keep the thinking well of self, but as well of thy neighbor.
45. Study to show thyself approved unto thy ideal. Learn and know what is thy ideal - spiritually, mentally, materially. Know in Whom ye have believed, as well as in what ye believe. Know the author of thy tenets, of thy faiths, of thy hopes, yea, of thy fears; studying to show thyself approved unto same, condemning none.
46. These, with the application of self in those directions indicated, will bring the entity to that place wherein it may be said of thee, "Well done; enter thou into the joys of thy Lord."
47. Who, then, is thy Lord? Know Him as thy PERSONAL Savior - if ye would find thyself.
48. Ready for questions.
49. (Q) Where, when and how have I been associated in the past with [2775]? (A) Parallel these, as we may find in the experiences of each. These have been in varied experiences, but in the present may be made the greater experience, if there will be the application of self in those directions indicated.
50. (Q) With my wife [...]? (A) In the experience before this, and a helpmeet one to the other. Throughout the trials there were ever those hopefulnesses in one another.
51. (Q) Why am I where I am, and what should be my life work? (A) As indicated. The application of self in the various spheres of experience has brought abilities in specific directions. As a datastician, that may make formulas and recipes for
2788-1 Page 6
this or that application in the various fields of activity, may the entity find the greater outlet for its abilities.
52. (Q) How can I best serve humanity, now and later? (A) In formulating plans for preservation of those things that supply to the bodily needs, as well as to the physical needs of individuals and groups.
53. (Q) How can I be guided so that I will work towards the right goal? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God. Turn within. Find the answer - as ye would in the admonition given by Moses, in the 30th of Deuteronomy - it is within. And then, as thy companion, as thy aid daily, read - and apply as being personal - the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John. For He may walk with thee, if ye will walk in the light of that He has promised.
